Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

Well, as I promised, I was able to make a day available to play with the Crusaders, and as you'd expect after last time, we had a lot of fun. We almost didn't have Apple Bloom though, since she was help up with some family trouble. Turns out she was being lectured by Applejack about some time she and Big Mac got into trouble years ago. But we didn't want to pry into family stuff so we didn't ask too much about it. Anyway, back to the games. This time, we arranged for a race, and yeah, I didn't do that well on the last one, but we were able to make it a bit more interesting this time.

You see, we decided to split into teams of two and do a three-legged race instead. I was with Sweetie while Bloom and Scoots worked together. I was pretty confident this time, even if Sweetie was a bit more nervous. But, it turns out none of us were as good as we were hoping to be, because only after taking one step forward did we all just fall flat on our faces. The race was a complete shambles, but surprisingly, we all just laughed about it. It was fun, even if it was a compete failure of a race. We just enjoyed getting to do it together.

So yeah, I enjoyed my time with them today, and I look forward to the next time we can have a playdate together.
