Dear Diary,

I had a semi-unpleasant experience today, and all of it centred around Scootaloo. Now, I like my friend as much as the next dragon, but seriously you shoulda seen how happy-go-lucky she was today. She was going on and on and on about her time with Rainbow Dash lately, and yeah that's usually the case with her, but today it was like she'd taken it all the way to eleven! Seems Rainbow had this thing or another with her parents recently, who I'll admit I never really gave much thought to before now, and Scootaloo was there to see it. Apparently there was some problem or argument, I'm not sure, but whatever it was it's over now.

All the same, Scootaloo's just been excited to just talk about her day with the first friend who came her way, and apparently that was me. I wouldn't mind so much except that I was in the middle of grocery shopping. And let me tell you, having a bouncy filly next to you talking about Rainbow while you're waiting in line to buy a bag of oranges is not exactly the best of situations. Still, I'm glad she's in a good mood, and I'm also glad that Rainbow sorted out whatever it was she needed to sort out.

But, Scoots is still here, sitting right next to me in fact as I'm writing. Hasn't even noticed that I'm doing it yet, so I'm guessing I'm gonna be hearing about this for some time yet.
