Dear Diary,

Today, while I was helping Rarity with some of her chores, she made a surprising announcement. You see, she's got this new fashion show coming up, and she's invited some high-up fashion people to act as judged. Hoity Toity and Photo Finish are two of them, but for the third judge Rarity decided to use somepony outside the fashion world. Seems Applejack is her pick for the role, and let me tell you, everypony was just as shocked to find out about it. I get where Rarity's coming from, but AJ has next to no experience in this sort of thing outside of helping Rarity with this or that show.

Heck, I probably have as much experience as Applejack when it comes to fashion, but I'd never take on a role like this. Not even if Rarity batted her eyes at me and offered me a big tasty gem as a reward. Okay, maybe I would under those particular circumstances, but even so. Still, Applejack will probably be game for it. She usually is, and hey, she might actually do pretty well. Rarity will be there to help after all so if there's anything AJ doesn't know about she can just ask, right?

So hey, this might turn out okay after all.
