Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

Today, somepony entirely new got to have a chance at doing a friendship mission by the map, and it's Starlight Glimmer! I know, right? Nopony besides Twilight and her friends has ever been sent on one of these things before, and we've also never had anypony go on their own before either. This is something pretty special, and what's more, seems Starlight is being sent to Canterlot of all things. I'm excited for her, but I also know she might get a bit overwhelmed by this. It's her first mission after all, so I'm hoping she doesn't get too stressed out.

But, sadly, that ship might have already sailed, because guess who decided to keep an eye on her while she was doing it? Yep, good ole Twilight. Seems this situation isn't really one she feels she can let go, so she's using every trick she can think of to try and help Starlight along the way. Apparently that means striking some sort of dancer pose in the middle of the living room for long periods of time for some reason. I'm not gonna ask why because chances are the answer would just confuse me more.

So yeah, I'm just gonna go get myself some lunch now. Hope Starlight does okay over there.
