Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

Today, Pinkie pie left to go to a special event over in Yakyakistan. I'm really excited for her, though naturally not as excited as she was feeling about it. You should have seen the way she was squealing, bouncing around, laughing uncontrollably. And yeah, I know she's always like that, but she was even more so today because of this. Though I'll admit, I probably wouldn't be as excited about it as she is. I don't dislike the Yaks, but after their last visit over here, I probably wouldn't be in too much of a hurry to meet up with them again. I mean, if they were as loud and stompy over here in Ponyville, I can only imagine what they're like in their own homeland.

But, you know, maybe I'm worrying too much. Pinkie seems to like them after all, so I guess I can give them the benefit of the doubt. Plus, they seem to like her, so hey, that's a point in their favour as far as I'm concerned. I hope she has fun over there with...whatever this special day is, I've completely forgotten its name by now. But, I think I'm fine staying here in Ponyville right now. I couldn't do well in a land that's always covered in snow.

Still, I would be interested to hear about what happened up there when she gets back though. Looking forward to it.
