Dear Diary,

Rarity, the most wonderful, elegant and stunning mare in all of Equestria, actually got somepony to notice her incredible work today! But, I have to say, she had a hard time making that happen. you see, Twilight and the others were getting excited because Rarity offered to make them outfits for the Grand Galloping Gala, but as she started making them she kept trying to make everypony happy by listening to everything they wanted. When the big show first started, the outfits weren't...um...liked all that much. Everypony thought they looked ridiculous, aside from Twilight and the others of course. Rarity was devastated, and it really hurt to see her like that.

Fashion is so weird to me. I mean, yeah, I like that Rarity loves it so much and I know a lot of hard work and artist-stuff goes into it, but she did make stuff that the ponies wearing them actually liked. And everypony just thought they were silly. It wasn't fair, not to Rarity and not to the others. But, I guess I can be happy that things worked out. The others actually made a dress themselves, and Rarity liked it so much that it got her out of her funk. She re-made the dresses and that snobby fashion guy came back. This time, he liked them, and Rarity finally has a hoof in the fashion world!

I'll say this though, I know I couldn't make it in that world. Having to put up with ponies like Hoity Toity? Yeuch! No thanks!
