Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

We had a bit of a hard time at the school today. You see, after getting involved with one class in particular, Rarity and Rainbow started having difficulties with one another. Some of the students had pointed out that the two didn't really have much in common, and that it's weird the two are even friends at all. This sent the two mares into sort of a panic mode, and as a result they even started getting aggressive with one another. It was pretty hard to watch, and Twilight thought the same, so she devised a plan alongside Starlight. And let me say right now, I know this is gonna sound mean, but it was for their own good, honest.

So the plan was...trick them. Yeah, I know I already said it'd sound bad, but work with me here. We sent them on basically a wild goose chase to find some important thingamajig, but in the end all it really was is a reminder of how much the two mean together. Sure, they may not have the same loves and stuff, but that's no reason to say they can't be friends. And besides, after all they've been through together, how could there ever have been any doubt?

I'm just glad this is all wrapped up now, because I hate seeing my friends fight. Hopefully this won't happen again for a while.
