Dear Diary,

We recently had a bit of trouble with Rockhoof, one of Starswirl's Pillar friends. Seems that, unlike all his other friends, he's having a hard time fitting in with modern Equestria. He tried everything, even trying to hold one of his own classes, but no matter what he did, he just couldn't do well in it. Then, at the end of it all, he actually asked Twilight to turn him into a statue, just like Discord had been! I know, right? I know he was having a hard time, but that kind of thing was just way too extreme a response to all of this. But, you needn't worry, because he decided in the end not to go through with it. Instead, he's become Equestria's official "Keeper of Tales" which is totally a real title and not just something Twilight made up at the last minute.

And you know, I'm happy for him. Above all else, Rockhoof enjoys his stories. And I know the students love them too. Even if some of them might be a bit exaggerated, Yona absolutely adores them. In fact, I suspect it's because of her that Rockhoof decided to not go through with his stone plan. And if that's true, then remind me to thank her for it later.

So yeah, I've gotta go. Old Rocky's got another tale lined up and I do not plan to miss it!
