Dear Diary,

I've been noticing a few things with some of the students. Specifically with Sandbar and his five non-pony friends. They've been chatting with each other more than normal, and usually that wouldn't catch my notice. But lately it's like they've got this big secret, and it all started with that recent exam they had. And in the times I've passed them by in the hallways and stuff, I keep hearing little snippets of things that just don't make sense to me. Like Smolder mentioning something about a dress, or Silverstream apparently being happy about "yelling at the Storm king" even though that guy's been toast for months now. Something's up with them, and it just itches me like only curiosity can.

But, you know, with all the weird and out-of-nowhere stuff that always happens around here, maybe I shouldn't be too worried. I mean it's not like they're the only ones doing private stuff. Take Cozy Glow. Always fluttering about and going places even late at night. I bet she's just burning the midnight oil with her studies, just like Twilight's always encouraging the students to do. Maybe Sandbar and the others are involved in something like that too?

Yeah, that's what it is. You're right, Diary, I shouldn't worry so much.
