Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

Sometimes, we forget to appreciate the ponies who really matter to us. And for me, that pony is Twilight. I won't go too much into what's brought this on all of a sudden, but let's just say I've had a hard time with a certain somecreature who I never want to see again after this. But yeah, I just wanted this on record. Twilight is family to me. She always has been. She was there when I first opened my eyes, and she's been with me all the years afterwards. She's always cared for me and had my best interests at heart, and I just couldn't imagine my life without her. And even if I could imagine it, I wouldn't want to.

But you know, there'll be times when that fact slips your mind, and you maybe feel that such a pony isn't as important as you thought. But I know now that I was stupid to think that. Twilight will always matter to me. There is nopony in all of Equestria who has meant more to me, and while the two of us don't always agree on stuff, what family does? She's special to me, and I care about her more than I can ever say.
