Dear Diary,

Hearth's Warming Eve again. Boy, it feels like only yesterday that I last talked about it. Anyway, me and my friends got into a spot of trouble after we started getting overwhelmed with all the preparations and plans to get gifts for everypony. So, we came up with a solution. Randomly choose a friend and get a gift only for them. I know it sounds bad, leaving out five of our friends and all, but hey, everypony seemed on-board with it, so we went along with it. I wanted Rarity, as you'd expect, and it took more than a few visits to my other friends before I finally had her as my gift target.

Then came the problem of actually getting a gift, and let me tell you, it's always a hard thing to figure out what you're friends are going to want. And if that wasn't bad enough, there was this whole bunch of other stuff going on that just became bigger and bigger disasters. Heck, we even had a pudding monster to contend with at the end of it! And no, I do not want to get into too much detail about that! In the end, while not all of us were able to go through with what we'd originally planned, we all had a fun and happy time together, and hey, I even got to give a song to my fiends after all was said and done.

So yeah, all things considered...this was a good Hearth's Warming. Can't ask for more than that.
