Dear Diary,

Well, another time of me keeping an eye on things while Twilight and our friends are off on some big adventure. This time, it's because Rainbow got invited to some big festival in a village a long way away. I've never heard of the place myself, but if they like Rainbow then I guess they can't be too bad. Anyways, I've got some work to do back here while they're gone, not the least of which is doing some of Twilight's grading. Some of those students have been waiting a while already to get these papers back, so I'd probably get to them. After that though? Well, I was thinking of inviting Mac over for maybe a little buckball game. I know it usually involves three people, but I kinda don't want to know what'd happen if Discord got involved.

But yeah, things are pretty quiet around here right now, which is usually the case when those six aren't here. I love them to bits, don't get me wrong, but it can get kinda tiring. Still, I wish them luck on their trip, and I hope they have fun. And you know, it's funny, having them go off to a place they've never heard of while I'm still here. Reminds me of the time they first met Starlight. But you know, maybe that's just my brain being weird. I mean, that trip took them to a completely middle-of-nowhere place where everypony was dulled out and acting really weird for secret and mysterious reasons.

And what's the chance something like that would happen to Twilight and the others twice?
