Dear Diary,

You know how Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo sometimes get themselves into kinda bad situations? Yeah, it happened again, and boy was this a weird one. Kids will often talk about how awesome they think it'd be if they were to be older, you know, all grown up and stuff. But suddenly it happens all at once and suddenly it's not all that great. The fillies definitely understand that now, and I can safely say that they appreciate the age they're at right now. I know you're probably confused, but trust me, they've been through a lot, and I'm not willing to criticise them behind their backs about it.

After all, I remember all too well how bad it was when I grew up too fast myself. That birthday incident still haunts me, all these years later. Growing too fast, and becoming so much of a problem for everycreature around me? Yeah, that was a bad experience, so I guess I'm the only person in the world who knows what Apple Bloom and the others have been through right now. Maybe it's worth going to talk to them about it? Yeah, I think that'd be a good idea.
