Dear Diary,

Yep, it's the best time of year yet again. Hearth's Warming Eve! And before you ask, no, I'm not gonna go and look forward to getting lots of gifts this year. I learned my lesson about that after my Birthday and I do not want a repeat of that! Anyways, me and my friends were responsible for hosting a very special event this year. We're gonna put on a play talking about the founding of Equestria. You know, the story about how unicorns, pegasi and earth ponies stopped being enemies and became friends? I've always loved that story, and now we get to be a part of it! And even better, I get to be the narrator! How cool is that?!

It sort of reminds me of how things are between Twilight, Rainbow and all the others. Sure, they've all got their differences, and yeah, they tend to bicker, but things are always better for them when they come together, and they can make really good things happen as a result. Yeah, yeah, I know, that was a really cheesy things to say, even one a day like this one, but what can I say, I'm a romantic.

Sorry, but I gotta go. They've called for the play to start, so I need to get out there. Not fond of the costume though. These pants are just way too tight!
