Dear Diary,

Twilight and me have had a pretty rough day today. We were helping Applejack with some of her chores when Princess Celestia gave her two tickets for this year's Grand Galloping Gala. She was really excited, until she realised she could only give the extra ticket to one of her friends. She had a really hard time trying to think of who to give it to, and she and I were pretty much chased all over town once news of it got out. Who knew ponies here would get so excited about going to that party? It was kinda scary, if I'm being honest.

But Twilight was able to fix the problem. She actually sent the tickets back rather than choose between her friends, which was really nice of her. And after sending a message to Celestia, she actually got a whole bunch of more tickets! Even better, I got one too! I've never been to the Gala before, but I hope it's as fun as the party Pinkie threw last week.

Anyway, I'm really hoping nopony here tries to coax this ticket out of me like they did with Twilight. I don't think I could handle that kind of attention twice in one day.
