Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

Did you know that all of Ponyville can be thrown into chaos because one apple farmer gets really really tired? Well, apparently it can, because Applejack was going through a pretty difficult time recently. She was trying to prove she could get the whole orchard of her family harvested without help, and yeah, I can sort of see her wanting to do that. I might do the same in her horseshoes. But you should've seen her, Diary. I've never seen a pony that exhausted, not even Twilight when she pulls one of her all-night study sessions. Applejack could barely think straight by the end of it.

And Ponyville felt it, believe you me. There were rabbits all over the place, Rainbow got hurt because of some stunts, and there was even a bunch of food poisoning going around. That last one I don't really get, because I thought those muffins were great! Heck, I've got one right now, and it is delicious! But yeah, AJ couldn't keep it up, so she asked Twilight for help. We all pitched in, and the orchard was finished before the day was over. I'm really glad we were able to help Applejack like this, and she was really grateful to us.

But I really hope she doesn't try doing this much work on her own again. It just isn't good for her.

So, gotta go, Diary. I've got some yummy cupcakes to finish.
