Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

You'd think we'd get some kind of rest after that whole wedding fiasco, but no! Turns out we needed to head north to go to this place that, apparently, has just appeared out of nowhere. The Crystal Empire, which was made to disappear about a thousand years ago by this evil unicorn king who's now coming back, sort of. There was a lot of work by all of us to try and stop him from taking over, and we needed this special magical doohicky called the crystal heart to make that happen. Twilight did her best to try and find it, but in the end, she actually gave me the job of getting it where it needed to be!

That's right, today, I was the hero! And just in time too, because we were about a second away from Sombra actually winning this one. But between me and Cadance, we managed to get the heart in its place, and now the Empire is saved. So yeah, this whole other country is now a part of Equestria again, and they were all really nice to me about helping to save them. Cadance and Shining now get to rule the place, which is pretty neat, and even Twilight managed to pass her test. Oh, she was also on some big test by Princess Celestia this whole time, as you do. And yes, she did get just as worked up about it as you can imagine.

But yeah, this was one stressful time. If I never see a monster like Sombra again, I'll be one very happy little dragon.
