Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

Sorry I haven't written in you for a day or two, but me and Twilight have been pretty busy. You see, after we went to the Crystal Empire, Twilight's crown ,the Element of Magic, was stolen! It was a mare named Sunset Shimmer, and she escaped through this magical mirror portal thingie. Me and Twilight went after her (even though I wasn't supposed to go), and we ended up in a completely different world! It was weird! No ponies, no magic, and me and Twilight were completely transformed! I was a dog of all things, and she was...I actually don't know what they're called, but they looked pretty freaky to me.

Things got even stranger after that, as it looked like, for every pony here in Equestria, there was a creature sort of like them in that world too! We found Rainbow and Fluttershy and the others, and together we tried to get the crown back and stop Sunset from doing all the nasty things she was planning to do with it. It was a close call though, but in the end, Twilight got back what was hers, and we were able to get back to Equestria. I don't think I'll ever forget an experience like this. It's just so weird, thinking this other world is out there, with people so much like the ones we know over here. Nothing I write here will do it justice, so I think that's as much as I can say right now.

Oh, and don't let Twilight know I said this, but she totally had a thing for that one guy she met over there. But remember, it's just between us, Diary.
