Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

Every once in a while, you stop and realise that someone you revere highly has their own flaws. That they can make bad choices and do things you're not happy with. Well, I'm sorry to say that Rarity, my sweet beloved, made me feel that way recently. We all went to Manehattan to help her with one of her fashion shows, but thanks to being tricked by a fellow designer, she got pressed for time and had to come up with a whole bunch of new outfits. This drove her to the brink and caused her to act, well, not very nice to our other friends. Everypony felt really bad about the whole thing, and after a while, so did Rarity.

In the end though, Rarity realised what was really important, and she managed to make amends to her friends for the things she said and did. And it's a good thing too, because I was really uncomfortable with everything that was going on there. Seeing Rarity in that light, it...it wasn't great. But I suppose that's just something I'll have to get to grips with. Ponies may mean the world to us, but there will always be things they do that rub us the wrong way.

Still, at least Rarity managed to work her way past all that.
