Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

Today, while my friends are out practising for the Ponyville team for the Equestria Games, it's just me here at the library again. Well, not just me, as Big Mac came over too to hang out. Turns out he has no chores today, so his day is completely free. At first we didn't know what to do, but then I remembered a bunch of old board-games I found in the cupboard while I was doing some cleaning the other day. We got it out and we started playing them together. Now, most of them were pretty boring, but we eventually found one that actually was fairly fun to play. It was called Ogres and Oubliettes.

Basically you pretend to be this fantasy character and go on these big adventure with magic and monsters and stuff. It was a load of fun. I got to be this awesome wizard while Big Mac tried his hoof at being a warrior. We had a great time. So much so that a few hours had gone by before we realised it. We knew the mares would be getting back shortly so we decided to call it off for now, but we agreed to maybe catch up and play another round when we've both got time for it.

Wonder if we'll get anypony else to take part one day?
