Dear Diary,

I think it's well established by this point that Pinkie Pie takes her parties very seriously. Making them to make other ponies happy is pretty much her main reason for being, so you can imagine that being unable to make a party for one of her closest friends would sorta get to her emotionally. Well, enter Cheese Sandwich, this new guy in town who basically wowed everypony with his claims of being a great party-maker. Rainbow actually considered having him involved, which kinda ticked Pinkie off a bit. Things got so heated between them that there was actually a full-on party war going on for a brief time!

In the end though, things have, mercifully, calmed down. Pinkie and Cheese aren't rivals anymore and have actually worked together to make Rainbow and even better party than the two could have ever made on their own. It was great, and we all had a lot of fun with it, but then Cheese made his way out of town. Apparently there are other places out there in need of his parties, so off he went. Still, that was a pretty weird day. It hurt to see Pinkie so upset, but I'm happy that she was able to cheer up and get to keep on doing what she does best.

And hey, Rainbow had a pretty awesome time too, so yeah, more power to her.
