Dear Diary,

You know, you'd think that, after all the times dark magic has messed things up in Equestria, i'd have learned not to go around playing with it. But apparently not! You see, Rarity was in a bit of a creative slump, and I wanted to help her out with it. Unfortunately, I sorta resorted to some bad spells to do it. I found this book in the castle of the two sisters, and gave it to her. After reading the spell she certainly got her mojo back, but it kinda went berserk. She started seeing inspiration for changes everywhere. And the changes were causing all sorts of madness. Honestly I think even Discord would have been impressed with how disarrayed everything was.

In the end, I realised I needed to be honest with her about what she was making, as well as my own part in the whole thing. She understood, even though we both admitted that what I did was wrong. Twilight too was upset, not helped by the fact that I'd been covering myself this whole time. I can't imagine how much work she and the other Princesses had to put in to fix it all.

So yeah, gonna stay way away from dark magic now, because that stuff just ain't no good.
