Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

Today we got the first big sign that things are gonna be changing for us from now on. After doing a bit of talking about the castle, guess what happened? This crazy magic table showed up in the middle of the room with this glowy map of all of Equestria! And what's more, it seems that Twilight and the others have been summoned to some corner of the country we've never heard before. Whatever it is, it seems that it's something only the Princess of Friendship and her friends can do. Oh, I forgot to mention, that's her new title by the way. Pretty neat, right?

But, looks like I won't be going with them on this one so I get to stay and keep an eye on the castle. It won't be so bad though. I'll have Big Mac coming over and we can hang out like we've been doing here and here. We'll play some sports, get out the old Ogres and Oubliettes board, it'll be great. Gotta say though, I'm pretty worried about Twilight. This is their first mission and it was given by a magical whatever we're still confused about. And she's going further than ever before. It's hard for me not to get a little bit concerned for her.

But you know, maybe I'm overreacting. I mean this is Twilight we're talking about! There's nothing that mare and her friends can't handle!
