Spike's Diary

Dear Diary,

Now I know from experience what jealousy can do to a person, as I think I've mentioned here once or twice. We've all done things because we were jealous that we weren't entirely proud of and it's understandable that mistakes will get made when we feel that way. But hoo-boy, did Discord take that idea to a whole new level tonight! You see, we were all going to the Grand Galloping Gala tonight with all our friends. And yes, I can hear you already, the last one we went to was terrible so why is that a good thing, right? Well, this time, we agreed to stick together, which we all knew was gonna be much more fun.

Anyway, Discord was getting territorial when Fluttershy took somepony else, a mare named Tree Hugger as her plus-one to the party. Discord brought a friend of his own, a creature called the Smooze, and things sorta became icky after that. There was slime everywhere, Discord wasn't caring about any of it, and he even threatened to throw Tree Hugger into another dimension towards the end. It was getting pretty bad. Thankfully, Fluttershy was able to talk him out of it and convince him that what he was doing was wrong. But yeah, kind of another disastrous Gala.

Now, sorry to sign off already, but I have a suit that needs cleaning.
