Dear Diary,

Things have been fairly calm around Ponyville lately. And the reason? Simple. The Crusaders aren't here! I know, I know, that's mean of me to say, but let's be honest here, those three are as chaotic as Discord when the circumstances are right for it. Just the other day they got into trouble when trying to get their cutie marks when they tried to see if they'd be good at cooking at the local restaurant. It didn't go well. Seriously, Ponyville hasn't seen a food poisoning that widespread since Applejack's applebuck incident four years ago! Still, at least it's quiet now.

And where are they, you may ask? Well, they went over with Applejack to some rodeo, and I hear her cousin Braeburn is going to be there too. I'm fine with rodeos, don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see one like that. At the very least though I hope they all have fun over there. They'll probably have a few nifty stories to tell when they come back. Wait, oh no! Please don't tell me they'll want to try their hooves at being rodeo performers when they get back!

Sorry, Diary, but I gotta go! I think it's best if we get to reinforcing local housing before they get back, just in case!
