I awake to the sound of clanking metal. Men shouting is heard. I open my eyes to see, darkness. I look around my room to see...

A cell.

My eyes widened in horror as lights began to blur. Instead of pajamas, I was wearing a single pair of grey pants. My entire body was covered head to toe in scars.

I was about to panic. Was my entire life a dream? A sick joke my mind was playing on me? I was knocked out of my trance as the cell gate opened.

I was escorted out of the room and into a hallway which was all to familiar to me. I then ended up in the lab. The experimentation table was under a bright spotlight.

If I dreamt years worth of memories, then I just went through this yesterday. My heart sank as I was strapped to the table. Voices were muffled and the sound of rubber filled the air. I gulped a little bit as a scientist have a wicked smile on his face. He then slammed a scalpel deep into my chest.

For hours on end I screamed in agony as they would constantly switch their tools on me. At one point they needed to use lasers to rip open my flesh, so my muscles wouldn't tear through.

Tears I didn't know I had streamed down my face. It wasn't because of the pain. It was because I knew that somehow this was either real or not real. It felt and looked real. Though the memories I have made said otherwise.

After hours of the endless experiments and torture I was lead back into my cell. I was laid on the hard slab attached to the wall, that the scientists call a bed. I closed my eyes quickly after that.

I woke up. Sweat was pouring down my face. The sound of a new alarm clock blared in my ear. Instead of reaching for it, it looked around to see my new house in canterlot. I started to cry, and I curled into a ball.

Benjamin seemed to have noticed me because I have been in this state for thirty minutes without knowing, and mom had sat down next to me. She was slowly stroking my hair and she also seemed to be saddened by the sight of my state.

I straightened out a few minutes later and I got dressed with red eyes. After all of that I went downstairs. Mom was looking at me worriedly. "Ivan... Are you OK?". She asked. I sighed. "just a nightmare.". I said. Her eyes widened. "you were..". She paused. I finished it for her. "I was at the science facility.". I said. Truth be told I was holding back more tears.

School started with a B. Day. Would have four periods a day, then four the next. Today was B. Day so I had fith period to go to first. It was gym class. Twilight and rainbow dash had the same class, which i was glad to at least have one person here I know.

Today we just had to run laps. I started to think about my nightmare last night as I jogged at a steady pace. I could see flash backs of the most painful times of my life. As I jogged, Twilight and rainbow dash jogged up to me.

"hey Ivan!". Twilight said. She was huffing a little bit. I slowed down to a pace she could be more comfortable in. She gave me a smile for that. Rainbow just scoffed.
"so how's it going Twilight?". I asked the lavender skinned girl.
"I'm fine but you look terrible. Want to talk about it?". She asked. I sighed. "it's something I can't talk about. If I do, then I remember the physical pain.". I said. Twilight looked shocked. Rainbow looked more suspicious than she already did.

"does it have to do with your scars?". Twilight asked, innocently. Nodded my head as we jogged.
"come on! Don't leave us in suspense! Just tell us already!". Rainbow dash said. I was practically done with her already.
I stopped in front of her. I gave her a look that said 'you shouldn't have done that.'. "if you want to know so damn badly. Talk to Celestia. Tell her I said it was OK.". I said. I started to jog away with a confused twilight and a scared rainbow, who now can get her answers.

I only told rainbow to ask Celestia about my past because, it was gonna be a conversation eventually, and I was already tired of her looking at me with hate. The period came to an end, and I went to my next period. I had math. Unfortunately I didn't have any of my friends in there.

During lunch I sat down with all of my new friends. Applejack sounded extremely confident in herself. Not busy her pride, but who she was as a person. She stated talking about how she got rescued by noir. I grinned. Then the conversation got weird. "after ah realized he was protectin me I felt so safe. Like nothin was ever gonna harm me with him around. He even made me feel better about who ah am.". She said with dreamy eyes. Benjamin slightly chuckled. He patted my shoulder. He gave me a thumbs up while no one was looking. I smoked him upside the head.

After school I was about to walk out of the school when I heard sniffling. I turned around and saw rainbow standing there. "are you OK rainbow?". I asked. My answer was her tackling me in a hug. She kept her sobbing and I just stroked her hair, like what my mom did for me this morning. She seemed to have calmed down alot. "I am so sorry Ivan.". She said. I continued to stroke her hair. "shhh shhhh, hey it's alright. It's behind me now, and I forgive you.". I said. She looked up at me with a sad smile. She hugged me tighter. "just promise me you won't say anything.". I said. She started nodding ferociously.
"I understand.". She said. Benjamin was a few feet away. He was laughing so hard he fell over. He got his bearings after I slapped him. We both walked out of the building with smiles.

Though on the inside I will always feel dead.
For I feel little for the wicked
I pray on their fear
Their evil is a fire
That I must extinguish
