Celestia was holding back Shining Armor back with her magic “Young Squire! You will not arrest my guest!” She said as Solo was holding a dagger.

“Guess I won’t water the flower beds with guards’ blood.” Said Solo as he was seating away from them as he was checking a dinner knife for weariness.

“Please bro! Don’t murder a squire.” Said Sky “If his captain discriminated Jelly, then kill him. That’ll make a huge difference if he’s corrupted.” She said as Celestia looked at her with annoyance.

“Definitely their kids.” Muttered Celestia as Young Twilight Sparkle was examining Jelly.

“You’re a genuine Siren! I thought your species were myths, but Starswirl the Bearded once-” Jelly stopped Twilight with her finger.

“I’m sorry to stop you but I prefer to never hear that story.” Said Jelly. “He is label as a criminal to my species.” She said as Twilight was shocked.

“But he’s a national hero to Ponies!” She spoke.

“And a national criminal to Sirens.” Said Azza as she was tossing a ball as Baby Spike went to get it. “Worshipers are the blind idiots who ignore the true facts and ignore the crimes created after or during their hero’s deeds. Every action has a consequence, genius. If you don’t know that, then you’re oblivious to your common senses.” Azza insulted Twilight as her horn glowed angrily.

“Twilight Sparkle.” Said Princess Celestia as Twilight stopped her magic. “Let it go.”

“But Princess!”

“It’s alright. Not all historians who wrote the stories, ever wrote the consequences of hero’s actions.” She said as Twilight was shocked to hear that as Princess Celestia released Shining Armor as he turned to Celestia.

“Princess Celestia, why is this pony your guest after his actions in Canterlot?” He asked as Solo place his dagger in the table.

“I’m patently being punished for sneaking out.” He said as Shining Armor was shocked.

“You broke Curfew!?”

“Who stills have curfew at your age?” Asked Sky as Solo looked annoyed.

“The obedient fools.” Said Solo as Shining Armor snarled at him as Celestia stared at him.

“The punishment for Solo Level is spending some time with you three.” She said as Solo looked unamused.

“I knew it would be crap.” Said Solo as he put away his dagger.

“PRINCESS!” Yelled Shining and Twilight out of fear.

“I will not allow a dangerous criminal to be near my sister!” He said as he covered his mouth as Solo smirked.

“So, the oath of being a guard is inferior to family. Good to know.” He said as Sky was cradling Spike in her arms.

“Funny how this Dragon isn’t acting like a common infant fire dragon?” She said as Azza backed away.

“I’m betting Pony Magic is responsible for that. Another reason I refuse to be a living postbox.” She said as Celestia cleared her throat.

“That’s not it but that might be a possibility.” Said Celestia as she picked up Spike. “Unlike you, Spike was hatched by magic. It may be possible for it to nullify a natural dragon infant instincts. If it happens to you, I’m afraid you’ll most likely perish from heat stroke.” Explained Celestia as Azza snarled at that knowledge.

“Thank Solo for hatching me in my natural environment. I’m no one’s servant nor a pet project.” She said as she marches out of the room. “If anyone needs me, I’ll be in the freezer.”

“Dragons cannot survive in a cold environment!” Yelled Twilight as Azza looked at her annoyed.

“I’m an Ice Dragon, Book Humper. There are more kinds of dragons in the world.” She said as she slammed the doors.

“1st rules of Azza.” Said Solo “Never compare her to a loser Fire Dragon. Her words.” He said as Twilight was shocked and took down notes.

(“Are you serious?”) Thought Sky & Solo.

Outside (3 hours later)
Solo was sitting on a bench as Twilight was reading a book, Shining Armor staring at him and Spike was riding on Jelly’s tail as she walked around, and Sky flew around. “Is that what she’s gonna do? Read all day?” Said Solo as he looked at Shining Armor.

“Yes. She’s studying hard as Celestia’s student.” He spoke.

“And what does she do for fun that isn’t studying?”

“Learning new spells.” Said Twilight.

“That’s the same as studying. I’m thinking you have no life outside from those books.” He said as Shining’s horn glowed angerly as Jelly sighed.

“I’m starting to wonder why Celestia is worrying about her.” Said Jelly quietly as Twilight closed her books

“Studying is more important than frivolous things.” She said as Solo smirked.

“So… you think anything is frivolous than studying.” He said as his eyes flashed ominously. “So… what if I have a spell that your brother can’t defeat?” He said as Twilight was offended by Solo’s disrespect.

“My B.B.B.F.F. can defeat any spell you cast!” She yelled at Solo as he, Jelly, & Sky looked at him with confused looks.

“What?” Said Sky.

“Best Big Brother Friend Forever.” He said as they now understand what that meant as Jelly grabbed on Shining’s shoulder.

“You don’t have to do it.” Said Jelly. “I’m warning you. Solo isn’t someone you should underestimate.” She said as Sky descended and nodded at Shining Armor. Sky pointed at Solo, cross her finger past her neck and made a dead look. Shining gulped as he looked at Solo and sighed.

“Twily… you can’t force others to prove a point.” He said as Twilight started to cry “But… if we see what it is and evaluate it, it will make a point.” He said as Twilight stopped and smile.

“Yes!”

“What a sap.” Said Solo as Shining was getting annoyed by his words.

“Twily!” They all turned to see a female mare with a horn and wings running towards them. They were surprised but Solo didn’t like it.

“Are you shitting me?! Another female Alicorn!?” He yelled as Shining covered his mouth.

“You can’t swear in front of children!” He said as the female Alicorn walked to them as Solo remove Shining’s hand from his mouth.

“Don’t do that! Who the hell is she?! I thought there were only 2 Alicorns in Equestria and yes, I’m talking about Princess Luna.” He said as the Alicorn mare was surprised by what he said.

“I’m shocked that you remember Princess Luna. I am Cadance, the Alicorn of Love.” She said as she realized something. “Wait… are you that Solo Level stallion Auntie Celestia told me about? The rumor stallion who’s not afraid to hurt others for a good cause.” She said as Solo narrowed his eyes as she noticed Jelly. “I sense a strong love between you and him.” Said Cadance as Jelly blushed, but Solo didn’t react to what she said.

“What are you, a love counselor?” He said as Shining glared at him.

“Don’t you dare insult-”

“I don’t give a crap if you took virginity! Respect is earned, not given. So, I refuse to obey any Alicorn.” Solo said to Shining as Twilight and Cadance was shocked by his disrespect towards royalty.

“WHY YOU-”

“Squire Armor!” They turned to see Captain Aero Blade floated down.

“Captain Aero Blade!” Yelled Shining Armor as he saluted as she turned to him. “I request that you-”

“Request for Solo Level’s aid for a situation, then yes!” She said as Shining Armor was shocked as she turned to Solo as he crossed his arms.

“I will not-”

“I’m trying to do this peacefully. My fellow troops are trying to slaughter a pack of Diamond Dogs for a noble to acquire a land with mass number of gems.” She said as Solo, Sky & Jelly were shocked and angry by this information.

“There will be blood. Guards’ blood!” Said Solo as he followed the captain as he followed her as Jelly and Sky followed him as they left Twilight, Spike, Cadance & Shining Armor behind.

“I… I… WHAT MAKE HIM?!”

“Shut up.” They turned to see Azza as Cadance was surprised to see a dragon that looked different from the dragons she’d seen. “Quit the whining about how Solo is more important than you.” She said as she turned to Cadance “Now I understand, you’re the Cadance pony that’s dating this rusting squire.” She said while pointing at Shining Armor who was offended.

“Hey!”

“Shut up! Now, if you want to be useful, let’s follow them!” she said as followed where Solo went “No way Diamond Dogs would ever do something like this without reason.” She said as the 3 ponies looked at each other and followed her with Spike on Twilight’s back.

Location: Below Canterlot
Solo was brought to where Aero Blade brought him, a huge hole in the ground as some unicorn guards were creating a barrier to block thrown pickaxes. “I can see why their pathetic.” Said Solo as Aero looked at him.

“I think the trust in guards is something that needs to be improved.” She said as Solo looked at the hole as a pack of Diamond Dogs appeared and were enraged.

“Hmmm…” Solo was watching as he was thinking as the guards didn’t like the fact about a common citizen/wanted criminal.

“I can’t believe we have to rely on a criminal.” Said a female Earth Pony guard as Solo shoved her aside.

“Out of my way.” He said as a Diamond Dog threw a pickaxe as Solo, but he caught it with his hand before it hit him.

*GROWLING*

The dogs were growling at Solo as they were showing their teeth as he stood there. Sky and Jelly was hoping he won’t kill them.

*BARK* *BARK* *HOWL*

The guards were confused as one smacked herself as what Solo did, look like an insult to the Diamond Dogs but the pack looked shock and surprised. The biggest Diamond Dog (Great Dane) did the same thing, Solo did.

*DEEP BARK* *DEEP BARK* *HOWL*

The biggest Diamond Dog looked at Solo as he did the same thing.

*BARK* *BARK* *HOWL*

The pack as well.

*BARK* *BARK* *HOWL*

“What the fuck is that pony doing?!” Said a guard as Jelly poked him in the ass with her trident. “GAAHHH!!!” Jelly looked at them as she shushes them. Sky took Aero Blade aside.

“I know what my bro is doing.” She said as Aero looked surprised.

“What is he doing?” Aero asked

“He’s doing the Twilight Bark.” She said as Aero looked confused.

“What?” She asked as Azza appeared with Shining Armor, Twilight, Cadence & Spike appeared with her.

“The Twilight Bark is a chain of barks that Diamond Dogs used to warn another pack or showed as a member of a Diamond Dog pack.” She explained as Twilight took out a notebook to write about it as Azza snatch her notebook from her.

“No writing info about another race without their permission.” Said Azza as the notebook started to turn to ice and shatters in her claw. Solo was talking with their pack’s leader as he nodded and understood him.

“Mr. Level?” They turned to Aero Blade “Have you learn why they’re attacking?”

“Yes.” He said as his eyes glowed “A pony have stolen their puppies and will trade them for their Gem Mine.” He said as he marched out to her. “He told me where they are and the fool whose stupid enough to believe there are no consequences for her actions.” He said as he marches towards the location as Shining stopped him.

“Wait! We can’t just accept what they said is true!” He said as Solo’s eyes glowed ominously as he backed away in fear.

“Why… NOT…” He said as his voice gotten deep as Shining cleared his throat.

“We don’t have any evidence. No proof what they said is truth.” He said as some Diamond Dogs heard that and snarled at Shining.

*SNARLING*

Sky flew to Solo “I hate to say it, but the Rusting Armor is right.” She said as Shining frowned.

“That’s not my name.”

“Don’t care.” Said Sky as she looked at her brother. “Can’t you just break in and find the evidence bro?” She said as Aero Blade stopped her.

“You can’t!” She yelled as they turned to her as she cleared her throat. “I’m not saying it because it’s against the law but there are some nobles who want you banned from Canterlot. Apparently rumors of a pony sticking up for other species other than ponies that is praised by Celestia disgust some of them. If you attack them for that, they’ll use it as a possibility to ban you from Canterlot.” She said as Solo snarled at that.

“Clever rats but not clever enough.” He said as Solo marched out of the area as Sky, Jelly & Azza followed him as Cadance followed him as well.

“Cadance!” Yelled Shining as he, Twilight and Spike followed her.

“I’m making sure he’s not doing something crazy.” She said, leaving the other guards being as some Diamond Dogs toward over them as Aero Blade turned to their pack leader.

“So… have you had a crush on another?” She asked as her fellow guards looked at her “I’m lonely, okay?!” She said as a small Diamond Dog (Pekingese) walked up to her.

“(Adult female voice) Yeah… I know the feeling. Not even digging up gems makes me feel better if I can’t get the attention of a big dog.” She said as she went back in the hole as their Pack leader sighed sadly.

“(Adult male voice) I’m too much of a kitten to tell her, I like her more than gems.” He said as the other dogs gasped and pity him along with Aero Blade.

“I’m sorry.” She spoke.

Solo was staring from above as the others were watching. “So that the mansion where the fool took the puppies.” He said as Cadance looked below.

“Oh no…”

“Don’t tell me, you know who lives there.” Said Jelly.

“Yes, I do. Her name is Glittering Wealth, a unicorn noble who made her riches through Gem Mines.” She said as she frowned “I was kind of suspicious on how she gotten her gems in mines faster than how their excavated.” She said as Azza smirked.

“I think I know.” They turned to her “By forcing Diamond Dogs to give their mines to her for the lives of their puppies.” She said as she snickered “I guess some ponies in the law don’t care as long as they see happy ponies.” She said as Shining grabbed her with his magic.

“Listen here, Frozen Spit!” He said as Twilight never seen her brother this angry before.

“The Equestria Guards are all about protecting the lives of every Equestria citizens’ lives and I won’t let you insult or speak fowl about them.” He said as Azza stared at him.

“Really? Protect lives of every Equestria’s citizens?” She said as he nodded “Answer this question; did you learn to protect lives or protect pony lives?” She said as Shining paused as he recalled the guard’s oaths on a book given from Celestia and compared it with the guard’s oaths given from his captain. The oaths from Celestia said to ‘Protect all lives in Equestria’ as the oaths from his captain said to ‘Protect only pony lives in Equestria’. He sighed as he lower Azza down and turned to Solo.

“How are you going to get in?” He said as Twilight was shocked that her B.B.B.F.F. would allow someone to commit a crime.

“I’m not going in.” He said which confused Jelly, Sky & Azza. “My… allies.”

“What allies?” Said Sky “No way you have allies that are suicidal enough to fight with you.” She said as Solo clutched his hand into a fist as she covered her mouth.

“Well, that’s true but the disciple with the obsessed thirst for knowledge didn’t need to know that.” He said as they saw Twilight writing it down as she hides it from Azza.

“Nice try kid.” Said Azza as she wanted the notebook. Twilight ripped a page from it and gave it to Azza as she froze it.

“I’m curious on these allies of yours?” Said Jelly as Solo’s eyes flashed.

“Fine… here they are. ARISE FROM DARKNESS.” He said as his shadow spread out as his Shadow Thieves emerge from it. They all gasped in horror and fear as one of the Shadow Thieves waved at Cadance as she waved back.

“Solo…” Said Jelly as Sky gulped. Azza looked at them as Spike jumped on her back.

“Creepy…” She said as the shadows turned to Solo.

“Alright men.” He said as he tosses them pictographs. "The main objective is not to steal.” They tilted their heads by that objective “This is collecting information.” He said as he pointed for them to follow. “Somewhere in that mansion, is captive Diamond Puppies. You need to map out the area from inside and out and locate the puppies.” He said as they saluted as a cloud was moved in front of the sun, they entered the shadow of the cloud and headed towards the mansion as they turned to Solo.

“Solo…,” Said Jelly.

“Yes?”

“What… were… they…?”

“Shadows.”

“Uh… huh…” Said Sky “And how did you get them?”

“From magic I’ve learned.” He said as Jelly realized what he meant.

(“That dungeon…”) The Shadow Thieves appear before them as they bowed in front of Solo.

“Have you collected enough evidence?” He said as one pull out a drawing of the outside of the mansion, one had drawn the blueprints of the mansion and the rest showed pictures of not only the security, Glittering Wealth but cages with Diamond Puppies in them looking scared and hurt. Shining examined the pictures and looked horrified by what he’s seeing. He turned to Solo.

“We’ll manage this.” He said as one of the shadows showed another picture of hired pony mercenaries.

“I can see she’s also hired some mercenaries that law-enforcement cannot help her al. the time.” Said Solo as Shining frowned as he didn’t want to endanger the lives of his comrades or Princess Celestia as he didn’t know what to do. “Get Celestia and the guards. I’ll hold them off until help arrives.” He said as Shining Armor frowned and nodded as Cadance, Twilight & Spike went to Celestia and the guards as Solo smirked while Sky, Azza & Jelly looked nervous.

“You have more of these shadows, don’t you?” Said Azza as Solo snickered.

“Yes…” He said as his shadow expanded as more shadows emerge.

5 Minutes Later
Celestia and guards managed to arrive as they witness an army of shadowy creatures holding the mercenaries as Solo was laying on a recliner with Jelly on his lap as Azza & Sky were relaxing on a couch as a massive frightening knight was standing tall near Solo. “Finally, you came! I was annoyed by this bitch!” He said as he pointed to a Unicorn mare tied up and hanging from a tree. “After learning she's a pussy & also faking her body parts, it was easy to take down.” He said as Jelly floated to Celestia as she turned to see the shadow creatures.

“Does these creatures belong to…” Jelly nodded “Should have known.” She said as some of the shadows turn to some guards which frighten them. “Tell me they don’t attack.”

“No, unless I command it.” He said as Diamond Puppies came barking as they jumped on the guards as they got smothered by puppies and their licks.

“Cute…” Said Celestia as a Diamond Puppy (Shih Tu) jumped in her arms as the Diamond Dog pack appeared and reclaim their puppies as the Pack Leader bowed to Solo.

“Thank you.” He said as the female Diamond Dog who had feelings to the leader got influence by Cadance’s magic as grabbed their leader’s paw. Celestia manage to hold a peace treaty to the Diamond Dog pack near Canterlot as a promise that no pony will ever take or claim their mines as their own nor their gems. Twilight begged that Solo tell her about her magic, but he refused for a good reason as Shining got himself a promotion for the evidence which Solo told him to shut up about who took the pictures. Spike hugged Azza as he sobs a bit that he won’t see her again, but Azza patted him and said that she’ll see him again. Solo made an offer to Celestial by having his Shadows train her guards which she refused, and some guards refused because of the living shadows that resemble suits of armor.

Back in Ponyville
Solo and Celestia were staring at his new home as it was being built. “Well? What do you think?” She asked as Solo stared at it.

“It’s missing 2 things.” He said as he put 2 signs from thin air and place them on the door and on the yard; on the door said, ‘No Solicitors’ & the other said ‘GO AWAY!!!’. “Now it’s perfect.” Said Solo as Celestia sighed in annoyance.

“You know that won’t stop me from checking on your behavior.” She said as Solo walked in his new home to plan his decorations.

“I know but I will draw a line on you appearing while I’m bathing.” He said as Celestia sighed but smile that Gates’ descendant will be around for Equestria and maybe a friend for Twilight Sparkle.
