7 months later ...

(Rainbow Dash POV)

The next months were great, but a little tiring. The twins really were difficult babies. But Soarin and I were always determined to go through any challenge, even if it was one of two hectic babies.

"Soarin, come here!" I called my husband from the bathroom.

"Yes Dashie?" He said as he entered the bathroom

"Here you get Ragtag while I bathe in Shooting Star" I said, handing Ragtag over to him.

He nodded and went to the twin room.

After a few minutes I finished bathing in Shooting Star, and took her into the room to change her.

"Come on, girls, it's time to eat" I said as Soarin and I tried putting the baby food in the twins' mouths.

"Nah!" They said they totally denied the food.

"Okay since you do not want the food, then Mommy and I are going to have to eat the whole chocolate cake after lunch" Soarin said.

With that the twins quickly spread their hooves so that Soarin and I would give them the food.

"Great!"

1 year later ...

The twins were now officially 1 year old, and Soarin and I were doing everything they could to teach them to talk.

"Come on girls, say Mommy" I said.

"Majjjkkk" they tried to say

"Okay, so tell Daddy" Soarin said.

"Paoollll" they tried to say again

"Oh heavens" I said.

"Well honey, we'd better get the twins to sleep, it's getting kind of late" Soarin said and I nodded.

Later that night ...

"Waaaaaaaaa!" A cry of two babies could be heard from the room where Soarin and I were sleeping.

I slowly opened my eyes and let out a huge yawn.

"Soarin we go, the twins need our attention" I said poking him.

He slowly opened his eyes and also let out a yawn.

"Okay...." he said.

We flew into the twins' bedroom, and they were trying to get out of the crib while they were crying.

"Papa ... mama ..." they said.

My eyes and those of Soarin widened. We were called mommy and daddy, and the twins said their first words.

When they saw us they quickly began to reach out to me and Soarin, begging for attention.

"Oh dears" I said, smiling as I took Ragtag in my hooves. Soarin followed my example and got Shooting Star.

"The way they finally said their first words" Soarin said

4 months later ...

Soarin and I were trying to teach the twins to crawl. It was being a bit difficult, because they'd rather just be charged.

"Come on Star, come to Mommy" I said trying to lead Shooting Star to me, while Soarin was trying to lead Ragtag to him.

"Let's Ragtag, come to daddy" Soarin said.

The twins tried to step forward but could not.

"Come on girls, do not give up" I said.

They tried again and finally managed to crawl to Soarin and me.

"I knew you could do it! It was awesome!" I said taking the twins in my arms and hugged them tightly.
