Humans. Creatures of myths and legends. Fabled to have powers that could destroy all of pony kind if left unchecked. For this reason, Queen Faust ordered the execution of the human race. This was one of the toughest decisions she had ever made. Nightmares plagued her for many days afterwards. One night, Queen Faust awoke to the sound of crying. Thinking it was one of her foals, she quickly made her way to their bedchambers. She was confused when she saw that both of them were sound asleep. Queen Faust began to search for the source of the crying. Eventually, she found the source of the crying to be coming from the castle door. Upon opening the door she found a small wooden basket with a note on it, "Please take care of him." the note read. Inside the wooden basket was a human baby, crying and wanting his mother. Stricken with guilt, Queen Faust took the child inside, "Hush now, little one, I promise to take care of you." She said to the baby, her voice soft and motherly. The young baby calmed down when he heard her speak. She smiled at the young child's reaction and began to sing the child to sleep, gently rocking the basket from side to side using a hoof. The young child closed its eyes and drifted off into a deep sleep.

[UPDATE 5/18/2013 Chapters 1-3] This story is going through a major Revamp! With this I'm actually going to rewrite everything in this!

[UPDATE 5/20/2013] Since I have found way too many flaws (ie: no plot structure, no true character development, etc.) I have decided to cancel this project.
