Chapter 12: Surprise Visit

My eyes flashed open and I looked to my left to see Twilight mumbling science theories in her sleep. Her arms were around my chest like I was a big teddy bear she won at the carnival, never wanting to let go in fear that it may get lost. Her forelegs were in the under and over position and she was rubbing them against my left leg. I gently shook her to get her to wake up she moved a little bit and looked in my eyes. She smacked her lips and a comforting smile plastered itself on her face.

“Well you’re awake early and what a beautiful sight to wake up to when I start the day.” I blushed a little bit at that comment.

“Well thanks that sure brightened up my day but it kind of gets obvious that you say that by impulse every day.” Honestly I didn’t suspect Twilight to get this grabby in about a month but a happy Twilight is always good in my books and probably in hers as well. Twilight smiled sheepishly at me.

“Well I waited a good 7 to 8 years for you to get here so of course I’m going to be happy to see you every day.” She got on my chest and held me in a passion filled kiss for a couple of seconds. “I missed you so much.” I kissed her back with equal vigor.

“I missed just as much.” I grabbed her and hung her in my arms like a small child and in insight she was giggling like one as well.

“Oh look at my big strong James, carrying me around like royalty.” My hand accidentally slid in a particularly warm place and Twilight *eeped*I then slung her over my shoulder, blushing intensely. We entered the main room of the library; Spike came down the set of stairs that lead to the living room.

“Hey how was your night John?”

“As wonderful as ever Spike and yours?”

“Oh I had a dream of Rarity and me. We walked through a land with gems as far as my eyes could see.”

“So in other words it was fantastic.” Spike gleamed at me.

“Yep.” We continued down the stairs and I deposited Twilight at the bottom of the stairs. She looked at me and pouted.

“Come on just carry me to the kitchen I promise this will be the last time.” She then threw on her cutest face which from living with her for a month I could barely take it.

“Your fitter than me you can walk.” I closed my eyes from her look and walked into the kitchen. In just that moment a mysterious smell hit my nose. “Is that meat?” I immediately race to the stove to see bacon sizzling on the stove. I turned to my right to see Spike with a spatula in his hand and a big grin on his face.

“Well I just happened to see a griffon merchant and he was selling these pieces of meat 20 for 5 bits so I bought them.” I grabbed him in a big hug.

“Oh thank you I missed pork so much!” He clawed at my arms. “Ow!” I let him down.

“Goddesses above I thought you were going to kill me.” I sat at the table while Twilight begrudgingly got herself some coffee, once the daily ritual was done for her she sat herself down beside me. She yawned and rubbed some crud out of her eyes.

“So what’s this about pork? Did Spike bring a live pig home?” I for the moment totally forgot she was an herbivore.

“Well Spike noticed a Griffon merchant in town and picked up some...meat.” I winced not knowing the reaction she’ll have.

“Oh okay. Hey Spike can you give me some eggs and toast please hold the meat.”

“Will do Twilight.”

It was a few minutes before Spike came back in the room brandishing two plates. He gave Twilight her plate which had two pieces of bread perfectly toasted and scrambled eggs with daisy petals topping it. My plate consisted of three pieces of bacon, two pieces of toast, and over easy eggs so I could soak my toast in the yolk. Twilight looked down at Spike and smiled lazily at him.

“Thanks number one assistant.” She nuzzled his cheek.

“It’s okay it is my job after all.” Spike walked back into the libraries main room snacking on a gemstone. I looked at Twilight.

“Hey so Twilight what are we going to do today?” She put her hoof on her chin in thought.

“Well we could go for a walk, and then if you want you can go and introduce yourself to ponies in Ponyville.” Twilight scooted closer to me and put her muzzle to my ear. “After all that maybe we could meet up here and go upstairs for a bit.” She started rubbing my crotch. “I have to say that is going to be something worth waiting for.” I grabbed her and kissed her, she sighed and I pushed my tongue against her teeth. She opened her mouth allowing my tongue through, the feeling when our tongues touched was electric I pulled my lips from her and we just sat there savoring the moment. “I still don’t know why Celestia says you’re a bad kisser that was amazing.” I blushed slightly at that comment.

“I told you, I am a great kisser when I want to.” I rubbed her cheek and got up. “Now let’s get back to the schedule. I have to go and you have a job to do.” I walked out of the library and into Ponyville the task that was set before me was quite simple. For about three hours I was just walking up to people and saying hi. I decide at that point to visit Rarity to see if she could make me some clothes after all wearing the same clothes for a month does get a bit smelly. I walk to the door of the Carousal Boutique and push it open. A little toning ring came from the bell above the door and Rarity walked up to me.

“Hi John what can I do for you on this magnificent day.”

“Well I need more clothes. These ones are starting to smell real rank.”

“Oh yes I can smell you from her, Well strip down and let me check your measurements.” My face heated up.

“Well I kind of want to keep my boxers on, if that is okay with you.”

“Okay so be it but you owe me 10 bits for the clothing.”

“Okay can I pay now?”

“That will do fine.” I took out my coin bag and handed Rarity ten bits. “Okay now let’s get your measurements.” She grabbed the measuring tape and put it around my thigh, my waist, my chest, and my shoulders. “There, now you can continue on with your day and I can create your clothes.” I walked out the door of the Carousal Boutique and into the outside world. I soon discover by looking at the sun that it was noon already so I decided to pay Fluttershy a visit.

I walked down the trail that led to Sweet Apple Acres and just before I was in the farm I turned to go along the trail that followed the fence line. It seemed that I was the only one who knew of this shortcut to Fluttershy’s but I knew that could not be true because the trail was well worn into the ground and new hoof prints litter the trail. I looked up at the sky it was clear blue, the wind was just right so that it was a little hot but the heat was almost always dispelled by the cool breeze.

Today was very quiet and usually my days are more exciting than what it’s like now but I like the feeling that I was feeling right now, the calmness and tranquility of the trail made me soothed in mind but also physically. I slouched a little bit feeling slightly drowsy, for some reason I wanted to fall asleep right here and now but I knew that Twilight wouldn’t be very happy with that so I pressed on. Soon my resistance paid off and I arrive at Fluttershy’s cottage. I looked around to see if she was in her front yard but it seemed that the kind Pegasus was nowhere in sight so I went up to the door and knocked. “Hey Fluttershy are you home I was wondering if we could have a little chat.” I heard some rummaging and a yellow head with a flowing pink mane came through the door.

“Oh you can come in James I was just making sure that Angel ate his carrots he’s so picky sometimes.” I stepped in the cottage and looked around; it seemed that I had interrupted them in the middle of lunch as everybody was eating.

“You know if you’re busy Fluttershy I can come back at a later time.” Fluttershy enter the room with a small bowl of water and put it in front of a small raccoon. She turned to look at me.

“Oh James I’m not busy at all in fact I already have tea made. I hope you like blueberry.” She walked over to the couch and shooed all the animals away. “Please take a seat and we can talk.” She flew back in the kitchen and I sat down on the couch. She came out of the kitchen with a platter that had a tea kettle, two cups, and sugar and milk. “Okay so what do you want to talk about?”

“Well first off how are you doing and has anything exciting happened with you?” Fluttershy visually calmed her body as she
sipped on her cup of tea.

“Oh I’m fine and nothing really exciting has been happening the only thing that I have to worry about is the squirrels, they have seemed to be quite clumsy at this point of the year. Oh and how are you doing?”

“Me? All I’ve been doing is helping Twilight at the library and nothing really exciting has happened. The only thing I have to worry about is paper cuts. I miss the thrill of war and life but a life time with Twilight is better than anything I ever wanted.” Fluttershy put her hoof on my shoulder.

“Be happy you got everything you wanted and your life is peaceful. I am envious of you James I wish I could have a pony to
share my special feelings with but sadly he has yet to show up.” Her body drooped and I looked into her eyes.

“Your time will come Fluttershy you are a wonderful mare and someone is bound to hit on you. That is if you let them.”

“Thank you James for the company and the talk.” I patted her on the back.

“It’s fine and thanks for the talk as well you helped me relieve my stress as well.” I got up and headed out the door I turned my head skyward to see that the sun was about 2/4th down the sky. I jogged down the trail to Ponyville and waved to every passerby that looked at me funny.

I got to the Library I looked in the windows and the lights were out. I walked in the library and tip toed my way through the living room. I took another step and the floor creaked, I winced.

“Oh James! Come here right now!” All the sudden all the candles in the room flared on and I jumped a little bit. Soon the smell of roses and lavender hit my nose and I saw Twilight’s tail come out of the door. She wagged it towards me. “Come on James I’m ready.” I walked up the stairs and opened the door; well it looks like I’m going into the deathtrap that is Twilight’s bedroom.
A/N: Well this is the next chapter of my old book but I will continue both this story and AJL (Adventures of John and Luna) Blame school and Red Dead Redemption for the late release.
