Shining Armor pulled up to the Everfree woods followed shortly by a few other squad cars. “Alright Men, we got us a kidnapping here, so we need to spread out and search the area until we find this poor girl and bring her home!” He said grabbing his taser and looking to his fellow officers. Upon getting a nod from each of them, he turned to the woods and led the pack in.

Sunset groaned in pain as she watched her tormentors walk over to the camp fire to relax after unleashing their wrath on her for the past hour and a half. She cried looking down at the ground, feeling immense pain in her body. She could barely feel her right side, and it seemed that her entire left side had stopped functioning after Dumbbell swung a few times at her arm, leg, and ribs with a baseball bat and Lightning Dust stomped on her foot with her spiked cleats. “Why... are you all doing this to me?” She struggled to ask, catching the attention of one of her captors. She walked over and punched her in her right eye.

“Isnt it obvious demon? Were paying you back for everything youve ever done to us ever since youve come to our school. You might of fooled everyone else with your nice act, but not us. We knew youd slip one day, and that day has come.” Gilda said, her yellow lips grinning wickedly before turning around and whistling for someone. “Toss me some Duct Tape, will ya Gabrial?” Nodding, he walked over to one of the cars they arrived in and pulled out a roll and tossed it to her. Smirking, she turned back and ripped a piece off and placing it on Sunset’s mouth. Sunset screamed at her, only to be muffled and began to cry as her captors continued to discuss what to do next.

“I say we pack up and leave her out here. No one is going to miss her anyways!” Dumbbell said folding his arms. Lightning Dust smirked at the idea and turned to Gilda. “I like that idea. How about it Gilda?” she asked, only for Gilda to turn around and start to think. “no... we need to end her once and for all...” She said clenching her fists. Everyone around the camp fire started to smirk wickedly and slowly turn towards their captive. Sunset had been watching the whole time, freaking out and trying to escape. “Yes, I think this is the perfect punishment for all the suffering youve done to us over the past few years...” Gilda muttered before pointing to the Diamond Dogs. “GO BACK TO YOUR HOME AND GET SOME TOOLS! Well... keep her entertained until then.” She said with venom in her voice as she reached for a crowbar.

Shining Armor groaned as he tripped over a root. They had been at this for over five hours, and still not a sign of any of these kids or the missing girl. “Damn it, were running out of time. We need to find them before something bad happens...” he said only to hear his radio go off. “Sir, weve spotted three of the students that were reported kidnapping Miss Shimmer walking towards the center of the woods. We are in pursuit.” it said before cutting off. Shining Armor grabbed his radio and begun working his way into the center. “All Units, suspects have been spotted heading towards the center of the woods. Start making your way over that way.”

Gilda grinned as the other students returned to the camp fire as she stood by her victim. “So, you think you can just get away with spilling our secrets, do ya?” She said hitting Sunset’s right arm, attempting to make it match her left arm and leg, now crippled and bent in awkward places before ripping the duct tape off her lips. “Gilda... I didnt do anything... to you... Ive never interacted with you... before in my life...” Sunset said fading in and out. “While true, I know youve never needed to actually get close to someone to get to know their secrets.” She said before growling and slammed the crowbar into Sunset’s right hand again. “ITS BECAUSE OF YOU MY FOLKS FOUND OUT I WAS DATING ANOTHER GIRL AND BEGAN TO PUNISH ME, BEING THE GOOD OLD, STUCK UP THE ASS CHRISTIANS THEY ARE!!!” she screamed so furiously she instead smacked the rope hard enough to cut it off her as she fell to the ground, only to land on her broken limps and yell out in pain.

“Gilda... I have no idea what your talking about!” She said while crying. Gilda screamed and kicked her in the gut over and over. “YOUR LYING!!! YOU FUCKING LIAR!!! I WILL FUCKING END YOUR EXISTENCE PERSONALLY YOU FUCKING BITCH!!!” She screamed soon puncturing the broken girls rips. With that, Sunset finally passed out to her wounds as the Diamond Dogs returned carrying a few chainsaws and a knife. “Ah, good timing. Give me that knife. Im gonna enjoy taking this bitches life.” she said reaching out for it. The Diamond Dog holding the knife grins and tosses it over to her. Grabbing it, Gilda spun around and kicked Sunset again flipping the wounded girl over. “Well, its been fun, but alas, this is the end for you!” She said raising the blade up. However, before she could bring it down, everyone heard the sound of a pistol being cocked.

“DROP THE WEAPONS! WE HAVE YOU SURROUNDED!!! They all heard a male’s voice scream out as they heard more pistols being cocked as they turned to see about fifteen cops surrounding them. Gilda growled and started to thrust the knife into her victim only for Shining Armor to shoot her in the back with his taser, forcing her to drop her weapon as she fell to the ground, bouncing from the electricity going through her. Shining Armor stood over her as the rest of the officers walked up pulling out their hand cuffs. “Miss Gilda, you are under arrest for kidnapping, harming the innocent, and attempted murder.” he said shutting his stun gun off and flipping her over to hand cuff her. “You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law!” He said getting her onto her feet and pulling out his radio. “I need an ambulance out here. Weve got wounded here.”

The girls all sat around their normal table upset over the events that unfolded today. “I cant believe it was our own sisters that did this!” Rarity said to upset to actually touch her drink. Rainbow Dash looked down at her phone crying as she scrolled through the pictures of just her and Sunset. “Girls... were we ever her friends to begin with?” She asked looking up at the rest of her friends before adding, “I mean... we turned on her so easily... we didnt even give her a chance to prove she wasnt doing this... Did we really want her to be guilty?” Pinkie Pie blew her hair out of her face as she stared at her food. “I always had fun with her once she became our friend... she always seemed happy... and so did we... but yet... once those posts came out... its like we became what Sunset once was... we were bullying her... the whole school was! Why did we suddenly hate her?”

“I... Think we were never really her friends to begin with...” Fluttershy said quietly catching everyone else’s attention. “Why would ya say that Sugarcube?” Applejack asked curiously. “Well... think about it.. after she reformed, we kept reminding her of her past, never once apologized for it instead giving a ‘No Offense’ thinking that solved everything. I mean, even Princess Twilight did that to her! We have been treating her like trash for these past few months... so when the girls started posting our secrets... maybe we used that as an excuse to get rid of her?” We ditched her when she needed us most... and left her to essentially die... Face it... we, in a way, were much better at being a bully then she ever was...” Fluttershy said hiding behind her hair crying tears of sorrow. The rest of the group hung their heads in shame only to hear a police siren come by. Looking up, they spotted Shining Armor drive by with a few of the students in his car as a few more drove by followed by an ambulance. Rainbow walked up to the window and asked, “No... they didnt.... They didnt actually kill her... did they?”

Sunset slowly regained consciousness as she looked around, no longer in the woods, but instead a white room, hearing a steady beeping going near her. She painfully looked to her left to see a heart moniter sitting beside her. ‘Am I in a hospital?’ she thought before hearing a door open. “Ah, good, your awake Miss Shimmer! We were getting worried for awhile there.” the nurse said. Sunset tried to sit up only for the nurse to run over and place her hand on her right shoulder. “You need to stay in bed for now Mame. Your body was severely damaged when we brought you in.” She said. Sunset tried to respond but finally noticed she was wearing an oxygen mask and decided to just let the nurse continue. “Those kids... Those nasty kids... they broke your left arm and leg... to the point you can no longer use them sweetie...” She said watching Sunset start to cry remembering all the pain she suffered from them.

“It doesnt get better... you took so much punishment that your body seems to be failing... We are doing everything possible for you... but as of now, you are on life support...” She added frowning. Sunset closed her eyes and continued to cry as she heard a second pair of footsteps enter. “Miss Shimmer, I am Doctor Disco.” She heard him say and she opened her eyes to see a gray man with even grayer hair wearing sunglasses on them. he sounded kind of scottish she noticed as he continued to speak. “Rest assured we are doing everything in our power to save you... the problem is there isnt much left of you to save... We do have one idea that could save your life... but its highly experimental, and requires another person entirely...” he said, which caught her attention.

Noticing, he continued, “The only thing we can do is surgically combine what is left of you with another person, who has the same blood type and similar body structure, as close to you as we can get. However, as Im sure your aware, we will need to have both your agreement as well as whoever we are able to join you to.” Sunset nodded and struggled to lift her right arm, giving a thumbs up to give the go ahead before she lost her strength and passed back out.

Doctor Disco sat in his office, waving his gold pen over the computer screen as he studied the files he had of everyone who could even be remotely close to Sunset. “Nurse Redheart, do we have any other people we could look at to see if they would be a suitable host?” he asked spinning in his chair to the woman standing at his door. “It appears so. We actually have a perfect match for her... and youll never believe it, but its the officer who found our patients little sister!” she said, to which Doctor Disco pulled his sunglasses off and frowned, his eyebrows dropping. “Get him on the phone now!”

Shining Armor walked into the hospital entrance, his little sister walking behind him, upset that she was interrupted from her late night reading by her parents asking her to go with her brother to the hospital. “Ah, you must be Twilight Sparkle?” She heard a scottish man ask walking out of a room. “I am. Can you tell me why exactly Im here?” She asked frowning abit. “I can. Right this way.” he said leading them to the elevator. “Miss Sparkle, it seems you are the only person that can help us save our current patient.” He said as they rode up. “Oh, how can I help? I have no medical training or really... any skills in your department...” she said leaning forward to read his name tag, “Doctor Disco.”

Nodding, the doors opened as they walked to the patients room. “This is all true. However, thats not why we asked you here.” he said stopping at the window. Twilight looked into the room and gasped stepping back abit. There, laying in bed passed out, was a young girl about her age with fiery hair, her body severally broken. “Miss Sparkle... what were asking could save this young womans life... but it will be at a major cost... Were asking to join the two of you together into a single body... Will you help us?” he asked her. Twilight was taken aback by the question and looked at the girl.

“Why me?” she asked nervously placing her hand on the window as the girl in bed slowly started to wake back up. “Well Miss Sparkle, it would appear you are the only person we know of who is 100% compatible with her. You two have the same blood types, same bone structure, all the important stuff, you are a match for her.” The Doctor said showing the paper work to Twilight. Sighing, Twilight watched as the young girl’s left eye started looking around only to spot her at the window. “Whats her name?” Twilight asked The Doctor. “Sunset Shimmer.” He said turning to the girl in bed. “She doesnt have many days left...” Twilight sighed and adjusted her glasses before looking at him. “Let me get to know her for abit... Wait, can she talk right now?” Twilight asked concerned.

Looking at her, he said, “No. but she does seem to at least understand us talking to her. So maybe ask simple questions about her that she can give a nod or shake to.” Nodding, she walked over to the door about to enter, she turned back to The Doctor and said, “I know you gotta get permission from my parents, but you have the ok from me... I cant just sit by and let someone suffer like this... even if I know no one would do the same for me.” With that, she entered Sunset’s room. The girl looked over at Twilight as she walked over and sat by her. “H-Hi there. M-My name is Twilight Sparkle. A-According to The Doctor, your name is Sunset Shimmer... C-Correct?” She asked getting a nod from Sunset. “Its a pleasure to meet you Sunset.” She said gently holding Sunset’s right hand.

Twilight noticed that Sunset gave a weak smile under her air breather and gave another nod. “Ive never seen you at my school. Im guessing you went to Canterlot High?” She asked, noticing the girl’s eyes close trying not to cry as she nodded once more. “Did something happen to you there?” Twilight asked only for Sunset to raise her right arm pointing to her situation. “You dont have to tell me when you can talk, ok?” Twilight said to which Sunset nodded once more. Nodding back, Twilight held the damaged girls hand again noticing that the girls entire left side was damaged far worse then the girls right.

“Im guessing they got you pretty good on the left... You werent by any chance left handed, were you?” Sunset shook her head and gripped Twilights hand as tight as she could attempt signaling she is right handed. “Well I guess its a good thing they asked me to be your... Body Mate...” She said gently squeezing her hand with her left hand. Sunset looked at the girl as she then raised her left hand up smirking. “Im left handed, so we can still use our main hands” she said with a giggle. Sunset smiled and gave a soft giggle, barely hearable over the machines, but just loud enough to be heard by her new friend.

Suddenly Twilight’s cell phone went off and she pulled it out noticing it was a facetime call. Answering it, she spun around so Sunset could be seen as well. “Twilight, honey, we heard about what you just gave the ok to! Are you serious about this sweetie?” Her mom asked soon noticing Sunset, “Is that her?” She asked, to which Twilight responded, “it is. Ive been getting to know her for abit now. Mom, I cant just leave her like this.” She said expecting her mom to be cross. Instead she saw she had a warm smile on her face. “Were so proud of you Twilight. Whats her name?” She asked noticing Sunset was wishing she could talk right now. “Her name is Sunset Shimmer.” she said as her mom turned to Sunset. “Well then Miss Shimmer, you can expect a huge welcome to the family party when you come home with us! Assuming your family doesnt mind of course.” She said only to notice Sunset frown and close her eyes sad now.

Noticing, Twilight turned and asked, “Sunset... are you... an orphan?” Nodding, they then heard Twilight’s mom talk to another voice on her side about what her daughter just asked. “Twilight, we will be there first thing in the morning with legal documents for you both to sign. Sunset... We will move you in with us once the two of you are on your feet.” She said, causing her to blush and close her eyes crying tears of joy with a small smile on her face. “Well see you tomorrow mom! Love you!” Twilight said hanging up the phone and looked at Sunset who was smiling still and was gripping Twilight’s hand again. Twilight smiled at the adorable girl and hugged her as light as she could.

“Never thought Id ever get a sister hehe” she said giggling as Sunset attempted to laugh as well and patted Twilight’s back only to notice the light’s were starting to go out. The Doctor stepped inside and said, “alright girls, We got the ok to do the operation with Twilight’s parents. Were however having trouble getting ahold of your’s Miss Shimmer...” he noticed Sunset’s mood change from happy to sad as Twilight stood up and went outside to explain it to him before coming back and sitting by her soon to be sister. “Alright then Miss Shimmer. I guess that means you speak for yourself on this?” he asked to which she nodded.

“Very well. In that case I recommend you get some sleep, as we will be starting in the morning after your parents bring in the legal documents Miss Sparkle. Do you require any blankets or pillows?” He asked. Before Twilight could answer, Sunset reached up and gripped her hand, pulling her to her. Twilight smiled at her and looked at Doctor Disco. “Would it be ok if I sleep with Sunset? I mean... Im gonna be stuck to her for the rest of our life. Might as well get used to being with her now.”

The Doctor nodded and flipped the lights off as Twilight took her shoes off and climbed under the covers with her soon to be sister, holding her good hand as the two drifted off to sleep, awaiting the operation that would save Sunset’s life in the morning.

wow... I think thats the most Ive written yet...
yes, Doctor Disco is pretty much The 12th Doctor from Doctor Who. Hes not the actual Doctor, I just thought itd be fun to throw him into the story.
And here people were wondering how these two would know each other since this is before Friendship Games
