Chapter 6 - Problems in Ponyville

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

Outside the Town of Ponyville, things were really heating up since the raid from last night. The Main 6, along with the ponies in town, are scared, and angry about this act of violence. In any case, the only way to get their peace now is to destroy the one thing that threatens the peace of the kingdom. Twilight was talking to the bearded stallion that talked to Khan himself, before he turned rebel on them.

"I'm begging you lieutenant! You can't do this!" Twilight said as she placed both her hands on the deck right in front of the bearded stallion.

"I'm sorry Ms. Sparkle, but after last night. Our citizens are terrified to even go outside, let alone give our human slaves ideas." The bearded stallion said as he got up from his deck, and walked towards the window. "This human of yours, is dangerous, and has to be destroyed as soon as possible. I had a scroll handed down to me by Princess Celestia herself."

With that, he pulled out the scroll, and read it out loud.

Dear Lieutenant Bronze

I Princess of Equestria have heard of the dreadful news involving this human that had escaped, and destroyed the new building were setting up. So now, I personally have sent to you my best guards to locate the rebel's hideout, and bring that human back along with the other slaves. Do whatever you need to, but try to convince the human to give up, if not then you know what to do.

Sincerely yours Princess Celestia

Twilight looked at Lieutenant Bronze with a wide eye expression, while her mouth hung open. She then shook her head to wake herself up.

"I can't believe that she would order this." She said to herself quietly as she walked out the door.

Twilight left the guard station, as she made her way towards Sweet Apple Acres to find Applejack keeping her humans in line. One of the humans dropped a bucket of apples, but quickly picked them up before any one noticed. They had to use wooden ladders to get at the shortest ones, cause of how tall the ponies were compare to the humans.

"Hello Applejack!" Twilight called out as she made her way towards the cowgirl.

"Oh hey sugar cube!" Applejack yelled back as she got off the wooden ladder. "So what brings you around these parts?"

"Its just terrible Applejack its just terrible."

"What is it girl? You can tell me." Applejack said as she placed a hand on Twilight's shoulder looking in full eye contact.

"Believe it or not Applejack. I just came down from the guard station, and what they said were going to do, I don't think I can handle this." She said as she sat near a picked apple tree holding herself with her own arms nervously.

"What do they plan to do with the human that escaped us?"

"If peace negotiations fail, they will kill my slave."

Applejack's ears raised in alarm about this killing business, as she was sweating.

"Really? That's what they said?"

Twilight looked back at Applejack with a serious look on her face.

"This order, was given to Lieutenant Bronze, by Princess Celestia herself."

After that Twilight left, leaving Applejack in disarray of what is going to happen if peace gets rejected. Then as humans would say: There is going to be hell to pay.

At the hideout

Khan was training with the others to improve his melee fighting skills, and he took some time to train them about uses of guns and explosives. Tempest Shadow had a smile on her face, as she watched her fighters working really hard on developing their work. The slaves/prisoners they helped, some wanted to join the fight, while the others wanted to help build things for the resistance. Sparkplug was up and at it the moment he was fully recovered from his abuser, and was cleaning out the 50. Cal machine gun with a greasy wet rag.

"Arg! Damn it!" Sparkplug said to himself, as he slipped, and banged his head against the ammo box. Just then Tempest came into the room that Sparkplug was in.

"Hello." Tempest said causing Sparkplug to turn around.

"What do you want?" He asked rudely, making Tempest angry.

"There no need to be rude!" She snapped. "And its not the way you talk to your superior officer. Khan obeys orders, and so should you."

"I only obey boss, not you mule face!"

This caused her to grab him by the collar, as she pinned him against the wall, with a pissed off look on her face.

"WHAT THE BUCK DID YOU JUST CALLED ME!" Her face turned reddish purple, and she grinded her teeth in anger.

"Tempest, stop it!" Khan said as he came in the room to get her off of Sparkplug.

"But he-"

"We got more important things to do right now! Remember?"

It took a moment for Tempest to calm down, and after a few seconds of deep breathing.

"Ok, but if he calls me a mule again, I will make him clean my troop's boots."

With that she left, leaving the two humans alone at last.

"What the hell is wrong with you Sparkplug?" Khan sighed as he turned to face his friend/gunner.

"Look, I only work for you, and not these weird ass creatures." Sparkplug said as he continued to clean the mounted gun.

"Well, like it or not, we are here to stay. And the only way to live in peace now is to help these guys deal with the ponies that enslave our people."

"What about us? We have problems of our own now. I say let these horses fend for themselves."

"You know we aren't those types of humans. We were slaves ourselves, and we did something about. Why not do it again? But this time, we can build something greater with the knowledge of the past we brought with us."

Sparkplug was now rubbing his head, as he was thinking this through, and after a few minutes of thinking he made a decision.

"Alright then. I will still follow you. Not because of what you said, but how you said it."

Sparkplug than left the room, as Khan headed to where Tempest was. She was in her room polishing her gear making sure everything was in order in case of something that just came up. Khan knocked at the door to get her attention.

"Uh, hello?" Khan asked.

"Oh! Khan, please come in." She replied as Khan then came in, while Tempest finished her cleaning. "Did you talk with your friend?"

"Yes, yes I did."

"And he agreed to follow your orders, cause I'm giving you orders?"

"Yes, but he still not thrilled listening to you I'm afraid."

"Well, if you ask me, he is a pain in the butt to be friends with." She said as she laid down on her bed looking at Khan from afar.

"Hes not that bad really, just still have a hard time getting used to things around here, the same goes for me too." Khan said as he sat down on a nearby chair.

"Still, keep him in line, or I'll have no choice but to throw both of you out, and I don't want to do that to you."

"I understand Captain, consider it done."

After that he left her room, as she looked up at the celling.

"Wonder how things are going on in Ponyville right now." Tempest said, as she then was looking a an old looking book.

Meanwhile in Ponyville

Twilight was in her friendship castle looking over the missing plans to the human reconditioning center that was destroyed. She was stressing out a lot after what happened that time. Just as she was done looking over what was missing, Spike came into the room with a hot cup of tea.

"Here you go Twilight. A fresh soothing apple cider tea, made by yours truly." He said, as he placed the tea cup on Twilight's desk.

"Thanks Spike." She sighed, as she took a sip, and looked back at the papers.

"Your thinking about our slave aren't you?"

"Yes Spike, I am. There was so much he could teach us, maybe help us build better lives. But no, he took the opportunity, and left us helping a bunch of outlaw ponies and monsters."

"There is nothing we can do about it Twilight. He made his choice, and we made ours."

Twilight got up from her desk, and made her way towards the bathroom locking the door. She looked at the mirror, while wiping the sweat from her brow.

"Khan is too valuable to kill, I won't allow my slave to be harmed even if he committed an act of rebellion."

In the other side of town

A bunch of royal guards were marching around the town, armed with spears, and crossbows. Bronze was getting his men in shape for the up coming fight. Lots of ponies gathered around the area to bear witness to this act of military demonstration. It is a reminder to humans of pony's superiority, as they made their way in front of the Mayor's building.

"What is the meaning of this?" A mare with white hair came outside in a grumpy tone. She looked about 53 years old, reading glasses, and wore a outfit looking like she runs a company.

"Oh, pardon us Mayor Mare." Bronze said as he bowed to her. "But, you won't mind giving me authority to convince a human rebel to surrender, or parish, would you?"

"Just do what you have to do Lieutenant." She said as she went back inside her office.

"Alright men listen up! Cause I will say this only once! This human as freed our slaves, destroyed private property, and murdered our brothers in act of rebelling against the princesses, along with allying himself with monsters in this outrageous offense against Equestria itself!"

The army of ponies were yelling in anger, as the guards beat their weapons.

"How dare that creature!" One of the guards yelled out.

"Lets teach him, and his monster friends a lesson they will never forget!" Another one yell as he raised his weapon.

This really got their bloods boiling, as Lieutenant Bronze raised his hands up, silencing everyone.

"I know that your angry, well I am too." He said. "But let us not forget that were peaceful with everypony, and convince this human to go away. If not, then by all means, we know what happens next, no mercy on the rebels!"

With that the army cheered at the idea of killing the human that started this mess in the first place. Just as things were picking up, a certain purple alicorn arrived on the scene.

"Wait!" She said stopping in front of Bronze. "I want to go with you to find my slave."

"No can do Princess Twilight, but this mission could be very dangerous. And this is your slave we are dealing with here."

"But I want to help, and avoid fighting for all of us please!"

Bronze then sighed looking at Twilight again.

"Fine, but stay back in case they have weapons that could surpass ours."

"Alright, I understand."

With that the equestrian army, including Twilight had set off to make peace negotiations with the rebels in their hideout. After Khan's arrival at Ponyville, Bronze kept track of the human's methods ever since. Now that Khan has stirred the pot with Ponyville's business, now he is now tasked to capture the human or kill him in the name of peace by the celestials sisters law.

(At the hideout)

Khan was working on a new weapon the uses a canister of oil change to silence his hand gun. Meanwhile Tempest was working on new strategy for her next plans to assault on Ponyville, after they destroyed their building. Because of this, it struck fear into the hearts of the nobles around Equestria itself.

"Alright now so we know attacking Ponyville now is far more risky cause of what we done." Tempest said, as she pointed at a building on a mini map looking like the town. "No doubt they will track our growing army. We have to set up defensive lines as soon as possible." Just as she was done, a human male raised his hand. "Yes, Leon?"

"Why don't we ask Khan about new war tactics, I'm sure he can give us ideas maybe ones that can kick the royal guard's ass." Leon boasted as Tempest's mind clicked in.

"Maybe your right. And with the new weapons he got for us, we might deliver a massive blow against the celestial sisters."

With the she got up from her chair, and sped walked where Khan was. When she got to his room, she saw him sticking a oil canister on his hand gun.

"Oh, didn't see you there captain." Khan said putting his stuff away, while looking back at her.

"Well, the meeting likes to request that you help us with some war plan. Its about a army tracking us here, and we want your input on how we can defend our hideout if we were discovered."

"Alright, lets see what you got so far." Khan said as he got up to go with Tempest to the war room.
