Clowns of the Corn

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

We rematerialized into a back yard, of a green painted home from within the ghost town. An old rusted vine fence stood in front of us. A few dried up corn stalks surrounded all of us from inside the small backyard, as we trampled over the dead plants. We entered into the left side entryway of the house, as I stepped in forward to lead the girls. To the right of the entryway, was a staircase leading to the second floor. I pointed the M16A1 upwards, while the girls followed from behind me. A bloodied skull bounced from the top landing, and leaped in mid air directly toward me. I squeezed off a few rounds while the skull glided toward us, striking it several time in mid air before it imploded. The sudden sound of a lightbulb, crashed from behind us, and morphed into a clown lightbulb. Twilight responded with a barage of flying popcorn critters that peppered the bulb until it shattered.

There was a wide opened gap parallel from within the building from the second story, that led us down into a grassy alleyway. I lowered the M16A1 into the grass, and grasped the edge of the gap, and sprung myself into the ground. I supported the other girls, as they lifted their weapons and dropped themselves downward. I caught each of them on their quick descent. We made our way back into the streets once more.

A flaming clown head greeted us at the left side of the alleyway. I flung one of the gore balloons from my backpack in its direction, as the chunks of gore sharpnel planted into the ghastly demon. Three more flaming clowns greeted us, as they spewed their firepath among the streets. Rarity and Twilight responded with a barage of rockets and popcorn projectiles, which afterwards the flaming clown heads imploded into thin air.

Conveniently, the green house with the small skull door socket was just a few yards away from us. We jogged over to the open socketed door. I took the small red skull and placed it inside the door. The door rattled as we stepped backwards...

The door slid into the ground, underneathe the creeking wooden floor boards inside the home. More gore balloons, with the addition of a few clown souls were waiting for us inside the interior of the doorway. I tied the balloons to the lanyard on my backpack, and Applejack fed her gore grenade launcher with the clown souls located on the floor. To the right of the room, contained a spirling staircase that ascending upwards. The upstairs second floor, contained a section of missing wall polluted with colorful vibrant blocks that flashed vigorously, into an ajacent building that contained the same material. A clown demon along with a bloodied skull, groaned to the left located behind us. Dash unleashed a continous firing pattern of three shotgun shells into the monsters.

We were forced to leap into the next building, which was only about a yard away from us. I threw my belongings to the other side, and tumbled over landing sideways into the second floor gap. The girls galloped above the alleyway over the short distance. My presence alerted a large flying metallic clown skull that grumbled in my direction. Before I had the chance to pick up and aim my M16A1 at the grizzly demon, it mysteriously vanished into thin air....Must have been an hallucination or another trick from our clown antagonist. We regathered our belongings and headed toward a descending staircase inside the room.

To the right of us, was another house with a clown demon waiting along the side alleyway. Dash quickly took care of the clown demon waiting in the alleyway, as a colorful striped wall blocking the alley lowered itself into the ground. Before we made our way into the streets, I told the girls that I was going to do a quick search inside the right house. Nothing much of a sleeping clown switch and a demonic clown waited for me, as I pressed the switch and took down the clown threat. We jogged outside onto the cold streets once again.

All clown hell broke loose once we've stepped outside. A mix of flaming clown heads, groups of demonic clowns, bloodied skulls, and a few translucent floating clowns sent a barage of fire and electrostatic balls toward us at us from all different directions. I shouted to the girls, to form a defensive circular perimeter, as we all synchronously fired back into the advancing clown monsters. The air boomed with the sounds of my M16A1 discharging, Dash's shotgun being worked hard, Rarity's gas rocket's colliding into a few clown foes, Twilight's popcorn gun peppering a few clown demons, and Fluttershy firing her 10/22 until it was dry. We suffered only a few minor injuries, like a few first degree burns from the flaming clown demons comming into close contact with our skin. Only a few burn marks from the splash damage of the electrostatic balls, but nothing too serious.

The sleeping clown switch revealed a new part of town at the T intersection, located at the bast of the street to the left of us. We jogged down the street to reveal more unexplored abandoned town row homes. A few crawling popcorn critters shuffled towards Twilight from the new street, as she kneeled down to let the small critters enter her popcorn gun. All six of us sweeped the row homes house by house, looking for supplies from our last skirmish and to look for any clues leading to Pinkie Pie.

As we stepped out of the last row home from our searches, our eyes casted opon an open grassy baseball field. The girls and I trotted together into the field, as we looked around the dirt enviorment. We walked to the pitchers stand to shift our eyes into an dried up dying corn field a few meters away from the baseball field. Floating translucent clowns with bouncing bloodied skulls rustled through the dried up corn stalks towards us. I chucked a few clown grenades into the wall of advancing clowns, as they shifted thought the corn fields. More demonic clowns appeared out of the abandoned houses and casted electrostatic balls into our direction. A few small floating skull projectiles from the hovering clowns glided towards us. I smacked one of the skulls with the stock of the M16A1 in self defense. The floating skull projectiles had limited range, thankfully. Rarity casted out a few rockets horizontally into the front wall of clowns. After reloading the M16 while Dash shoved more shells into the tubular magazine of her 870, the gas cleared from the fields, revealing piles of gibblets and entrails due to the rockets.

Nothing else emerged from the dried up corn field, so all six of us jogged back into the streets once again. A small brown house located near the edge of the street to the left of us. We entered the house with our weapons readied at bay. Inside the entryway, stood a tall 10 foot high cardboard box with unopened soda cans surrounding it. Behind the giant box to the right contained a small kitchen. A severed demonic clown head sat along the side of the kitchen counter, next to it was a crumpled newspaper. Inside the room also contained a large meat storage refrigerator, with an old 1950's style coocoo clock with some dusted canned goods located on wooden shelves of a food pantry. I spotted a small pointing clown statue on top of the fridge, as I picked up one of the old dusty cans and threw it at the small statue.

A pair of gore balloons lowered out of the wall, as I placed them tied onto my backpack. The room to the right contained another large cardboard box.....with a fresh mutilated human corpse. We were the only signs of life currently breathing and living inside this ghost town.....So how the hell did that get there? We explored the upstairs, to only see a cluster of gorged moths eating away the contents of inside the boxes, within the right room of the upstairs. Our anagonist clown was somehow painted onto a wall to the right of that room. The painting was similar to the one we've encountered back on the large clown wall. With a stare colder than the deepest pits of hell, passed through all of us in great anxiety. We exited the house to journey into an left alleyway, which revealed a small enclosed circular neighborhood.

This developement suffered the worst fate from the wretched clown invasion, as we slowly paced ourselves while we looked in observation to our surroundings. The houses were slowly being consumed by the clown realm, as the similar architecture from the realm bloomed and eveloped within a few houses. Another humongous painted clown wall sat at the end of this small neighborhood, likely the source of the realm cancer of this town. A cluster of action figure sized black demons spewed out of the clown antagonist, as the little demons jumped out and charged towards us. Twilight peppered the ground with popcorn critters in front of us, which in return made the little demons explode from the colorful sharpnel. We did our routine house room by room clearances, encountering a few clown lightbulbs along the way. Fluttershy located a sleeping clown switch within one of the houses, where she pressed her hoof onto the switch. Something shifted in one of the houses.

It was the first house to the right, as we peered into a room that was textured with balloons and vibrant colors. Another kind of 'fun' room was in front of us as we all walked inside the new house. One room defied gravity, as I figured from one of the balloons from my backpack that started to float in an odd matter. I lifted the heels of my feet off from the ground, as my body glided upward toward the ceiling of the house. The girls leaped into the air behind me, where all of us were greeted by a pointing clown statue and a few harmless balloons on the next floor. Fluttershy ventelated some of her penned up anger onto the small pointed statue. She stomped on it, as it gushed a pool of blood under her hoof. I looked over to Fluttershy as she did this, and in the aftermath, she bowed her head in shame toward me.

"Im...sorry" She said in disgrace. There was nothing to be ashamed about here, since this vile red headed bastard held her close friend hostage. I said something in response.

"Flutters, there nothing to be ashamed about here. However, save your penned up anger for later, when we finally meet this red headed asshole after we save your friend." I expressed to her.

Fluttershy activated something outside of the clown wall that spewed the little black demons, as we went outside to investigate the movement. The clown wall's mouth moved on its own, revealing a musty pink pathway. We ducked under the razor sharp front teeth of the clown's mouth, as it lead us into a wet, pink trail. A hardened wall of intestines slammed behind us, as there was no turning back now. The girls and I readied our weapons, as we carefully moved onward.

The next room revealed another zero gravity fun room. A new type of monster awaited for us yet again. A larger, more sinister clown posessed red balloon spewed a black wall mass out of its mouth, onto the floor. A bunch of little black demons crawled out of the black puddle and skitted toward us, as more large floating translucent clowns launched their miniature skull projectiles at us. We drifted upward, so that the little black demons could reach us from below. They imploded harmlessly underneathe from where we floated, as we unleased our weapons into the monsters in response.

The horrid balloon demon's facial features were....none the less disturbing. It's teeth chattered, while empty sockets of a nose, and a pair of eyes would normally be located leaked a racid black propelling fluid. The balloon was also alot more resistant to our weapons. After 10 grueling minutes of fighting, we stood victorious.

We floated up to an balcony of a platform, where small popcorn critters lined the perimeter around a onminous clown well. We knew what to do from here on, just like from Unloved. The girls clumped onto me, as I pressed my feet off of the edge of the well. This time however, zero gravity was not on our side. I could feel my heart race up into my throat, as normal gravity flew us down into the wells base. The girls all screamed while Dash and Fluttershy hoplessly tried to open their wings. We crash landed into a pool of colorful clown realm liquid, to take us back into the clown realm once more.....
