Happy Times Circus
Inside The Clown Realm
Previous ChapterNext ChapterWe stepped outward of the green swirling vortex into the familiar dark clown realm. All six of us stood on a floating circus colored island that froze in dead space. We've jogged to the opposite of the island to reveal a sleeping clown switch. Fluttershy took the honors by pressing the switch. Something activated while doing so, but we were unsure at the time. As we made our way back to the green swirling portal, we expected to be teleported back into the ghost town inside of the trianglular platform. Instead....we were transported into a whole entirely new enviorment......
We appeared to be trapped still inside in the clown realm, as we landed onto a multicolored glowing square platform. A pathway made out of the same material of the familiar unnatural soil stood before us. It was rock hard beneath our feet. As we looked into the pitch black abyss of the clown realm, an extremely horrid sight to beheld in front of all of us....
A series of clones of Rarity's favorite pet, Opalescence, floated above the curving pathway......The poor animal was decapitated with it's esophagus crudely dangling out, with bloodied tendons and muscle fibers hung in suspension above the pathway. Rarity took one glance of the sight in shock, and broke down bawling in tears and fell to the ground. That was not a good time to do so, as the commotion from her attracted a few floating clowns.
Fluttershy looked over to the floating clowns with firey rage, to see her best friend severly in distraught and trapped in a world of emotional pain. Fluttershy ran over to where Rarity dropped her gas rocket launcher, and sent a barage of rockets into the group of floating clowns. The clowns morphed into the black balloons, and descended downward into the black abyss never to be seen by us again. I rushed over to Rarity, and kneeled to my knees where she laid crying. I picked her up within my arms and hugged her, as I patted her back trying to confort her. I spoke to her as she eased a little bit. Her blue eyeliner was smeared due to her watery tears, as she opened her eyes up to me.
"Rarity...honey....It's all not real. We're all here for you, we're all in this together. We have to keep moving on, sweetheart."
I said soothingly to her. Fluttershy backed me up, to help ease her up some more.
"Um...Rarity? He's right, I know your pain.....but this is all just an illusion to try to break us down even more. We have to be assertive through this. Let's find Pinkie and get over this mess...." She said in support.
I picked up and lifted Rarity in my arms, as she closed her eyes and cowered her head into my chest, from the gruesome sights of her beloved pet.
I wished the severed cat heads were just an illusion. They presented a major problem to us, as they floated in suspension above the curved pathway. The cat heads would open their mouths to groan, trying to excrete something lodged from their esophagus every few seconds. A molten, flaming hairball would drip out from the tubes of their crudely severed throats, which would fall downward onto the curved pathway. The hairballs would explode into firey chunks of molten debris when they hit the ground. I devised a plan, as I spotted a time gap between the falling molten hairballs. A series of small 'four by four' platforms acted like a safezone from the hairballs on the curved pathway. I told the plan to the group of girls, as Rarity gently sobbed into my shoulder.
"Listen up everyone, I want you to follow right behind me. We're going to make a dash through these molten fireballs.....onto the small platforms, as the platforms seem safe from the exploding molten debris. Ok, on my word girls.......GO!" I darted to the first platform, as a molten hairball exploded from behind us, hitting the flat pathway. Trailing hot debris nearly collided into my right leg.
"Alright girls, good job..." We darted again safely this time onto the next platform. The third platform was far away from us, as another molten hairball slid down too close for confort in front of us. We ran to the last platform, dodging the flaming falling molten debris while taking a sharp turn on the curved pathway. The last group of floating severed cat heads presented a minor problem, as they were spaced apart in mid air with no safezones. We dashed all the way to the end of the pathway, where the cat heads were no longer within our sight radius behind us. I lowered Rarity from me, as she wiped her remaining tears and recollected her gas rocket launcher back from Fluttershy. Dash handed back Fluttershy's 10/22 rifle.
A large wall of the red haired clown antagonist stood imprinted before us. It's soulless eyes directly gazed onward into the black space. Blood trickeled from it's red clown nose, as a small textured wall of hardened intestines stood inside it's razor sharp teeth, located inside it's mouth. Twilight darted to the right of us, to press a sleeping clown switch and regrouped. This lowered the wall of hardened intestines, where we all steeped onward into it's horrendous mouth.
Distorted circus music blasted in the atmosphere around us. The noise made us jump from the sudden surprise that emitted from the pink living walls. We made our way to the right, to the opposite side of a colorful striped wall, to behold a ghastly, morbid sacrifice stand tributed to our main clown antagonist. A lighted pillar of bloodied skulls stood on a stand of hardened intestines, with three menacing pointing small clown statues that surrounded the perimeter. A clustered group of partially rotting impailed human heads stood to the right of the skull pillars. I told the girls to stand back, as I threw a clown grenade into the evil tribute. The small clown statues went flying outward in unison, as the entire back wall lowered from behind us....
This new room contained a vibrantly colored black pool in the center base of the room. A small set of red waxed candles burned to the left of us. A horde of red smiley balloons silently floated toward us, as I unleashed a hail of lead into the balloons. This alerted a mixture of flying metallic clown skulls, small and large floating clown bulbs, and more bloodied skulls. We unleased a wave of projectiles, as the clowns returned fire with their multitude of projectiles and magic as well.
After a long thirty minutes of strafing and dodging the projectiles, we've stood triumphant over the large horde of monsters. On the opposite end of the black pool, sat the missing red skull that we sought after from hours of searching. Dash grasped the red skull, like a hurtle relay, as we all darted to the way back into the green swirling vortex. We didnt bother to use the safezone landings, as our adrenaline and quickness was far too great for the severed cat heads to deal any real damage. I placed my hand over Rarity's eyes, as I sprinted and guided the girls along the side with her. We jumped back into the green portal, to only be transported into a new location in town.....
