Children Of Madness

========= Some years after Fears revival ==========

In a village not far from Canterlot the Children of madness storm, there with them Fears daughter watching there attacks and defense as asked by her father. She smiles as her brothers and sisters slaughter the ponies with no mercy, but something catches her eye. Out of the corner of her eye, she sees a door closes Emma chuckles and trots to the door, and with her ghost arms breaks into the door and when she is about to attack she stops. Before her is a mother in tears and she sees in her hooves a bloody cloth holding her foal. The mother not noticing Emma as she cries over her child's body in her hooves as it is cold and lifeless. Emma surprised at this, in her hearts she feels different, a new feeling she has not felt before. she thought to herself saying in her mind, " What is this? Remorse? No something stronger. what is this? ".

Emma steps before her and asks the mother, " Why are you holding your dead child? shouldn't you be running? ". The mother with blood show eyes and her cheeks soaked red with tears says, " I rather would die than let my baby be alone in this. ". Never before has Emma seen this before she can question her more a madness child enters and asks, " Emma what are you doing? You must slaughter this weak pony. ". Emma blinks and looks at the madness child and says, " I am only here to observe the attack not interfere. ". She walks out and then the mother screams as the madness child rips her apart causing a bloody explosion. Emma's hearts grow cold she has never felt like this before as she watches the attack continuing on.

=========== Present day Crystal kingdom ===============

Celestia, Luna, Twilight, and Cadance stand before the army as they see Fear and Emma walking to them with some others by Fear. Fear looks at them and says, " Look what my children have found for me. The big four princesses of the land. I didn't know it was fathers day already. ". Fear looks at the blood blossoms and chuckles as he looks up at them. Twilight looks at him and says, " We are not scared of you Fear. All you are is a joke and a-.". Before she can finish a madness child roars and goes to punch her but he hits something else. A barrier from out of nowhere as it burns the child's hand and he screams in pain falling back part of his hand melted. Fear watches surprised along with the princesses.

Fear touches the barrier with his hand and says, " It would seem these plants are more of a nuisance then I thought. ". He then makes a fist and says with a grin, " Question is how much power do I have to use until this shatters? Ten percent? Possibly. ". Fear punches the barrier, a flash of light as the barrier glows, and as the Kingdom shakes but it holds strong like it was nothing. The princesses surprised and look around and they see Fears mangled hand as he chuckles as it slowly heals. Fear looks at Celestia and says, " This may give you protection for now but it will not last, every armor has a chink and all I need to do is find it. And once I do The Empire will be nothing but a blood-soaked ruin. ". He chuckles and orders the children to guard the barrier to make sure no one tries to escape. He along with his children returns to the fortress as the princesses return to everyone else.

Rainbow dash looking out the window and saying, " What in the wild world of Equestria just happened out there!? ".
Twilight looks at the ground and says, " I don't know Rainbow, somehow we have this barrier thanks to those blood blossoms. ". Cadence looking at the barrier and thinks why they didn't show up when Sombra came back this could have been helpful. Celestia paces and says, " What do we do now? Fear will figure a way in we need to figure something out. ". Luna says with anger, " What we need to do is get rid of him. ". She looks at worst as he is writes something in his black book and looks up. Worst then says, " What you all should do is kill him. ". Celestia looks at him and asks, " How can we? When he broke out we hit him with everything and he shrugs it off like nothing. Even stabbing him in the heart didn't do a thing. ".

Worst looks at them and asks, " Are you done? you know his weakness now so why not use it against him? ". Flutter shy looks at him and asks, " How? ". Worst holds the flower and feels the petal as it has oil to it. worst then looks at her and says, " The oils of these flowers soak them in blades, arrows, spears. Though we should try it out with one of them to see if it hurts or even kills them. ". Cadence looking at him as he holds the flower and say's, " I may have a plan to help with your tests. ". Luna with disgust in her eyes leaves the room.

======= In The Fortress ======

Fear looking at the Crystal Empire in his throne room thinking on what to do next. He looks at his hand as it is fully healed and he chuckles as he says to himself, " So this is what can bring me down? Not a spell, not an entity, but a flower. Hmm, I guess those hippies got that quote right. ". Emma enters the room and kneels before Fear as he turns around. He smiles and she rises but she does not return her father's smile. Fear goes up to her and asks, " What is wrong my child? Some of your siblings tell me you have been acting odd. ". Emma looks at him and says, " Father some years ago when you sent me to that village to observe my siblings in combat, I saw something. ".

Fear looks at her as she explains what she saw and what she felt. He goes to her and asks, " I see. May I ask you a question, my dear? ". Emma nods as she watches him as he goes to his throne and sits looking at her and asks, " What do you think of my teachings? All the things I taught you, showed you? Do you have doubts? ". Emma looks at him about to say no but in her mind, she stops and thinks. Fear gets up and says with a frown, " I see. Well, I'm sorry my dear but it seems I shall have to peer into that Lil mind of yours again. ". Surprised she looks up and says, " Again? What do you mean? ".

Fears' eyes glow red as Emma groans in pain as she fights Fears' attempts to go in her mind. Emma with tears says, " Father stop I didn't mean please stop. ". Fear then hushes her and says, " Don't worry please don't fret my dear this won't take a moment. ". The pain grows more and more as she tries to resist then when she has had enough she screams, " Enough you monster! ". With her ghost arms, they fly out with such speed and punch Fear into the wall, she then felt something. Surprise on both faces Emma with tears as she closes her mouth immediately. Fear with anger gets up and she runs, His center eye glows and Fear says, " Guards attack Emma! Kill her! ". Emma heartbroken but runs out of the throne room.

" Where did she go!? ". A madness child asks looking around as a search party is searching for her with orders to kill. Emma hidden with tears. Betray, manipulated grab her hearts like icy cold grips. She hides in the shadows groaning softly as her head starts hurting memories flooding that wasn't there before. Emma reaches the front gate and tries to unlock them. " You know sis I kinda figured you would mess up sometime, but this big wow I kinda don't want to kill ya. ". Emma turns to see Reggie grinning at her after saying that. Emma holds her hands before her and says, " Reggie listen to me. Father, he is nothing but a monster, and he is leading us down the same path. ".

Reggie chuckles and says, " See that's why father doesn't take control of our minds. Caus the six of us were the best of them all. We have the guts to lead and slaughter any pony in our way. Sorry, I meant to say, you use to but I guess not anymore. ". Reggie gets ready to fight as Emma is up against the wall afraid. Just as Reggie is about to attack Emma slams the ground and pushes back breaking the door open. Reggie with a few seconds to act he fires a concentrated beam at Emma hitting her in the arm missing her left heart. Emma screams in pain as she falls off the edge and falls into the clouds as she falls.

Reggie looking down and chuckles and says, " Bye-bye dear traitor. ". Reggie then turns around and sees Fear looking extremely mad and Reggie then backs up out of Fears way as he looks down. Reggie then says, " Father I wounded her but she got away. Please forgive me. ". Fear looks at Reggie and says, " This changes some things. Get the air squad down there and search the ground for her. I want her back. ". Reggie bows and goes to follow Fears' orders. " Wait. ". Fear says and Reggie halts and turns around. Fear looks at him, " Send out a message, we need the rest of your siblings. I want them here when my plan is in effect. ". Reggie nods and heads off to do so.

=========== Bellow The Fortress ==========

Emma wakes up as she is in a hole of her own making. She coughs hard as her arm is hurt and bleeding. She groans and gets up as she hears bones breaking a bit and trying to heal herself having some issues. Emma looking around and see the Crystal empire and sighs saying, " I'm dead if I'm found, I'm dead if I go in there for mercy and forgiveness of my grandmother. ". Emma sighs and nods as she makes her way to the Empire hiding hoping that she can find sanctuary.
