Princess Celestia has seen many families have great times with their little ones, and while she has found enjoyment in teaching unicorn students magic, especially Twilight Sparkle, she longed to have a child of her own to care for, from baby stage to adulthood. And with pretty much every bachelor stallion in Canterlot feeling far less than a suitable for her, she is considering adoption of a unicorn. Only one problem. All orphanages in Canterlot don't have a unicorn foal for her to adopt. This puts a damper on her mood, but, something unexpected happens for her. What you may ask? You'll have to read and find out.
