The next day

Out of the most weirdest things Mechagodzilla has see through his life, this has to be number one. He was in a world of talking multi colored ponies, unicorns, pegasi, and other mythical creatures. Just yesterday he met the two monarchs of the planet named Princess Celestia and her sister Luna, who wanted to help him return home to his friends on monster island. In the mean time, Twilight Sparkle took upon herself that she can take Mechagodzilla around Equestria to meet the other leaders from different species in Equestria.

It was around early in the morning as Twilight began to straighten herself and eat breakfast before she left. Mechagodzilla was fully charged and was ready before Twilight was, thanks to the nuclear reactor as his power source. Twilight thought about the school, but luckily Starlight and the rest of her friends gladly took over for her while she was out. All the ponies were all gathered in the map room where they all said their goodbyes.

"Alright, I believe it's time to go." Twilight said, "Before we go, how well are you with first time teleportation?"

"I have been through worse Twilight." Mechagodzilla said, "Tell me, what is our first destination?"

"The changeling kingdom where it is rolled by King Thorax of the changelings." Twilight said, "Thorax is a great leader and always cares about his subjects. He's very kind and gentle, so he should be easy to win over if you impress him."

"I'm a machine from a different world, took down monsters twice my size, and my leader is literally mutated dinosaur of pure radiation. I'm pretty sure he'll be impressed." Mechagodzilla said.

"OK." Twilight said awkwardly, she turns to her friends, "Take good care of the school okay?"

"We will Twilight." Starlight said.

"Let's get going. Next stop, the changeling kingdom." With being said, both Twilight and Mechagodzilla were gone in the blink of an eye.

Changeling Kingdom

The changeling kingdom was filled with rich flowers, thick bushes, and a huge rock formation in the distance. Of course it was never like before. It was like a desert with nothing but a taller version of the rock formation, just by seeing it would make you feel uneasy. But now, it has became peaceful and filled with love and happiness. Today however, the kingdom is going to have an unexpected visitor.

With a single poof, Twilight and Mechgodzilla appeared from the entrance of the kingdom. Mechagodzilla took a look around his surrounding and thought it was, pleasant. It reminded him so much of his home, the flowers, the tress, and rock formation even reminded him of the mountains he used to practice on for combat training. This made him feel happy and sad at the same time. Sure it was a beautiful sight to behold, but since it made him remember his home, he kept wondering how the monsters are doing on the island without him. For years they felt like a family and always fought as one to protect their home from evil that dared to threaten it. He shook off the feeling and returned back to his normal state.

"This is the kingdom?" Mechagodzilla asked, "I never thought of it being so, colorful."

"That's Thorax for you." Twilight said, "Due to him being king, the other changelings followed his orders and turned the kingdom into their very own paradise. Come on, there's no time to lose."

As they walked through the kingdom, Mechgodzilla was dumbfounded by it’s beauty. Many steps later, they finally reached to the middle of the kingdom where a large beetle-like figure was sitting on top of one of the rocks. The figure was tall enough to pass Mechagodzilla's chest, light lime green skin, an brilliant gamboge chest, and two orange curved mandibles of it's head. Mechagodzilla used his scanner on the figure on the rock.

Thorax turns his attention to Twilight with big smile on his face.

"Twilight!" Thorax shouted. He climbed down the rock and came to her level to big hug. He does this every time he see an old friend. Instead of an normal huge, he gave Twilight a huge so tight, he eyes ball looked like they were going to pop any moment along with her ribs cage cracking. Mechagodzilla only watched as he thought she was literally being crushed to death.

“Good t-t-to see y-y-you to T-T-Thorax.” Twilight tried to say as she was still being hugged. Thorax finally let the poor pony go to let her breathe.

“Sorry, it’s just that it’s a surprise to see you so soon.” Thorax said, “So, what did you come here for?”

“Well Thorax, I brought somepon-someone here to see you.” Twilight said.

“Really?” Thorax said, “Besides you and the other elements, no one else usually comes here.”

“Well, he’s not exactly from around here.” Twilight said, “He new and we hoped that you and the other Changelings won’t be afraid of him. He wanted to learn more about Equestria and the species that live here, including you. If that’s alright with you.”

“Nonsense Twilight.” Thorax said, “A friend of the elements are a friend of mine. Besides, I’m always open to meet new friends. Where is your friend now?”

“Right behind me.” Twilight said as she points to Mechagodzilla behind her. Thorax’s jaw fell to the ground as he was amazed at what was right behind Twilight. He witness a creature made from pure metal, resembled the structure of an adult dragon, and was at least twice his size. The other changelings on the hand, or hoof, had the same reaction as their king had on his face and everything was dead silent for a whole minute.

“Thorax,” Twilight said trying to break the ice, “this is Mechagodzilla. Mechagodzilla, this is Thorax.”

“So I have heard.” Mechagodzilla said, “It is an honor to meet you King Thorax.”
Thorax finally put on a straight face as he came face-to-face with the metal monster. Due to his height, Thorax had to look up in order to talk to him.

“Just Thorax is fine.” Thorax said with a smile, “Sorry for the silent treatment, we’ve never seen like you before. If this isn’t a personal question, what are you exactly?”

“I’m known as a machine.” Mechagodzilla answered, “A cybernetic being that need energy to survive. And no, I’m not living nor dead. I was created by a species known as humans for the planet called earth, which is my home. They made me to protect the earth at all costs for monster level threats.”

“Wow.” Thorax said as he was stunned, “I don’t recall anything about this ‘earth’ you speak of or ‘humans’ in particular. Good thing Ocellus isn’t here or she would freak out about learning something off world.”

“As do I Thorax.” Mechagodzilla said, “Speaking of which, would you mind showing me around your kingdom?”

“Of course.” Thorax said with glee, “Follow me.”

As Twilight, Mechagodzilla, and Thorax made their way through the kingdom, Mechagodzilla was completely dumbfounded by the kingdom’s glory. There was bushes with flower, the space as completely wide open, and the changelings were doing all sorts of activities.

“There have been a lot of changes to hive ever since I became leader.” Thorax said as they came to a stop, “Before it was like this, it was a harsh land in the middle of nowhere, nothing but the hive or changelings could be found. Everypony or creature was to afraid because of how changelings fed off love as a food source. But now, all that is in the past and I came up with great activities to keep my subjects in check. There’s theater, *some changelings were acting on top of a rock* swing dancing, *changelings were dancing side to side* a once a week potluck lunch, *a table was set up and the plates had different food items* and even craft time. *two changelings drew a picture of Twilight, Thorax, and even Mechagodzilla*

“I must say I’m impressed.” Mechagodzilla said, “It takes a great leader to do what’s right for his subjects. Your a great leader Thorax.”

“Thank you.” Thorax said, “It took some time, but now all the changelings have changed and are under my rule. We even made peace with other creatures here in Equestria, never to be afraid again.”

“Changed? Afraid?” Mechagodzilla questioned, “What was like before this?”

Thorax, and even the other changelings, has a sad looks on their faces as he asked that question. Their expressions were a combination of sadness and regret. They remembered the past live and well, and wasn’t a good one.

“*sigh* We changelings didn’t have such a good past with Equestria.” Thorax said, “Perhaps I should tell you everything about the changelings and our co-ruler, Queen Chrysalis.”

And so he did. He told Mechagodzilla about show changelings used their shape-shifting powers to disguise themselves as ponies or object so they can feed off their love in order to survive. He even told the story of the Canterlot attack and how Thorax saw the battle in own eyes. The part of the story that Mechagodzilla hates the most was Queen Chrysalis. She was a tyrant that only cared about taking power to take over Equestria and feeding the hive through any means necessary including manipulating a stallion by mind controlling him and disguised herself as his future wife on the wedding day so she could rule the Crystal Empire. Luckily she as defeated and the Crystal Empire was saved thanks to Twilight and her friends.

Thorax finally got to the part of the story, when he met Spike and became friends with other ponies, when he, Starlight, a pony named Trixie, and a creature known as Discord went to the hive to stop the Queen before she could trap ever single pony in Equestria and take over the land. Thanks to Starlight’s words about instead taking away love, you can share it with others, Thorax shared his love and changed form along with the other changelings. She was defeated once again and Starlight even wanted to give her a chance at a better life, but declined and took off to hide from Equestria.

“And there you have it.” Thorax said as he finished the story, “that’s everything about the changelings and how we finally became one with Equestria.”

Mechagodzilla was pissed. Not because of Thorax’s story, but how evil Queen Chrysalis was all because of her greed for power. She reminded him so much of King Ghidorah and all things he has done to his friends and home just for the fun it. He enjoyed the suffering of other and kill them if their no use to him. He tries and tries to kill Godzilla and take over earth, but they were always there to him and his followers of evil. He now understood why Thorax and the changelings were guilty of their actions, not because of what they were, it was because they lead to by a selfish tyrant with a cold heart.

“Through most of my life, I never heard of such a tyrant that can rival that of even King Ghidorah.” Mechagodzilla said with rage, “A true leader would give their subjects a warm hand, not cold steel. Even after the story, I do not blame your kind of becoming monsters, you were lead by a monster. And trust me, I know a monster when I see one. If I ever meet Chrysalis, I’ll blast her back to the pits of hell myself for what she has done you and your kin. If Godzilla was here, he would say that you deserve be called a king.”

“Well things are starting to look up us.” Thorax said, “We’ve through a lot and thankfully we are starting to heal old wounds. And I doubt you’ll ever come face-to-face with Chrysalis, without the hive, she’s powerless.”

“And she does, we’ll be ready.” Twilight said.

“I would not be to sure about that.” Mechagodzilla said, “If there’s one thing I learned about fighting an opponent, it’s to never underestimate them. Learned that when me and Baragon fought Megalon during our first fight.”

“Megalon?” A blue female changeling said.

“Megalon is an alien form outer space and one King Ghidorah’s allies. He is a bug like monster with cockroach like wings, a horn on his head that can conduct electricity, spit bombs for diving attacks, and has giant drills for both hands and weapons to do devastating damage and burrow underground for a surprise attack.”

“This ‘Megalon’ sounds like a worthy opponent.” Thorax said.

“Every creature has it’s flaws and Megalon has a huge weakness. He is, as one may call him, not the sharpest tool in the shed. He needs others to guide him and can get easily distracted by any object he sees.”

Thorax gave a blank expression as what he just said.

“Seriously?” He asked.

“Like I said before, he his an opponent you can’t underestimate.” Mechagodzilla said, “Perhaps I’ll tell you about the first time I fought Megalon along with my ally Baragon.” Thorax, Twilight, and even the other changelings gathered around as he was about to tell a story like no other.

A Japanese island

The story began on a small island that was 50 miles west of monster island, where two creatures were there as if they were searching for something. One of them being Mechagodzilla and a four legged like dinosaur with dark red skin, an armor like plates on it's back, razor sharp claws and teeth, elephant like ears, and a single orange horn on it's head, the monster's name was Baragon. Both Baragon and Mechagodzilla were ordered by Godzilla to investigate the island for any strange activities in case of if any of Ghidorah's allies are coming with any ideas to take down Godzilla and the earth defenders. Baragon, unfortunately, did not like the idea because he did not trust Mechagodzilla. Even after when Mechagodzilla told the monsters his back story with the humans, some of them did not believe him and thought he just another weapon from the humans to take them down. Some of the monsters did trust him, mostly Mothra, Rodan, and Angurirus since they were Godzilla's best and oldest friends, they put a lot of trust to their king and that he made the right decisions for his friends. But King Caesar, Varan, and other monster had their doubts with Mechagodzilla, which made his life hard to live with.

As the two monster kept walking, Baragon mumbled to himself, talking about Mechagodzilla behind his back.

"Why did I have to be get stuck with the piece of metal junk?" He mumbled to himself.

"Just because you do not trust me, doesn't mean we have to be enemies." Mechagodzilla said. He heard everything thanks to his ultra hearing that gave elephants a run.

"Great, so the metal freak has super hearing. What's next? You becoming the next king of the monsters?"

"It has been months since we've known each other Baragon. You know that I'm loyal to Godzilla, for he was the one who set me free."

"And you were one who tried to kill him. I should use my magma blast on you and say it was friendly fire. No, scratch that, your no friend, your a god damn weapon."

"If I was a weapon, I would pull the trigger and you would be dead." Baragon stopped in his tracks and stood on his hind legs into full height to give an anger expression. Not as tall, he could barley reach to Mechagodzlla's chest, coming in at 30 meters shorter, but size didn't matter to him.

"You really think I want to be a part of this to?!" Baragon said with anger in his eyes, "I'm only doing this because Godzilla me to. Mothra, Rodan, hell I could even take Gorosaurus. But no, it just had to be you. I don't know what Godzilla see in you. You were made by humans and humans always care about themselves."

"Me and Godzilla have more in common than you think." Mechagodzilla said, "If only you can get that through your thick prehistoric skull and walnut sized brain." Baragon did NOT like that insult and got into a battle stance.

"You calling me dumb trash can?" Baragon said.

"I though dinosaurs were smarter than they looked when I was alive." Mechagodzilla said, "But it looks like your height matches the size of your brain."

TRIGGERED

"That's it!" Baragon yelled, "I'm going send you back to the G-force junkyard!"

"Bring it short-stack!" Mechagodzilla yelled. Before the two could attack each other, the ground started to rumble, throwing them off balanced. Just a few feet away from them, something came to the surface. It was a bug like monster or a hybrid between a rhino beetle and a cockroach with drill like hands, and stood on two legs with the height of 55 meters tall, he stood over Baragon, but came close to Mechagodzilla. The monster named, Megalon, shook off some dirt and stared at the two monster in front of him with a confused look. Mechagodzilla used his scanner on the opponent in front of them.

"Megalon." Baragon said with venom.

"Who?" Mechagodzilla said.

"You weren't around when Godzilla fought this guy." Baragon said, "He's an alien bug god of an underground kingdom called Seatopia. Hits hard, thinks dumb. Gave Godzilla and Jet Jaguar a hard time, I wasn't there, but Godzilla told me the story. Don't underestimate him."

"Brains vs. brawn?" Mechagodzilla said, "Easy victory." Mechagodzilla then unleashed four of his back missiles and aimed at Megalon. The bug bug monster saw this and used the lighting from his horn to destroy all four of the missiles. Mechagodzilla gave a supersized look on his face to see his attack fail.
"Ummm, that's new." Baragon gave himself a face palm.

"He may be dumb, but he's a quick thinker." Baragon said, "Let's get this battle over with. Keep him busy while I burrow for a surprise attack." Mechagodziila gave as nod as he walked towards Megalon. The two monsters squared each other up and circled around one another.

"Who the hell are you?" Megalon said.

"Mechagodzilla."

"Strange, years ago I heard about a Mechagodzilla. Our cousins made him to kill Godzilla after I failed. What are you doing with the other monsters?"

"I'm not the Mechagodzilla you know. I was created here to protect the earth."

"Is that so? Well then, leaves more fun for me. Once I'm through with you and your friend, I'll kindly send you back to the king, with empty holes in your chests."

Mechagodzilla ran towards Megalon at full speed to give him a tail swipe, but some how, Megalon dodged the attack and kicked the machine away from with a lot of force. Thankful, the humans designed him to learn different typed of martial arts and psychical capabilities to match Godzilla to terms of speed and strength. Mechagodzilla got up again to give Megalon a left hook along with a few kicks and uppercuts. Megalon took serious damage, but felt something else beside the pain, he felt something underground. He came with an idea. As Baragon leaped out of the ground to attack Megalon, the bug monster ducked as Baragon jumped over him and crashed into Mechagodzilla. Both of them groaned in pain as Baragon hit him with enough force to knock him down.

"What?" Baragon said. Megalon only chuckles at the two fallen protectors.

"Did you really think I would fall for that." Megalon said, "After my defeat, I wanted to expand my mind and intelligence to make me a better fighter. I spent years trying and trying to make myself smarter and now here we are."

Baragon and Mechagodzilla stood on their two feet and examined their situation.

"OK, so he got smarter." Baragon said, "He has both brains and brawn, how can we defeat both of them?" Mechagodzilla took a minute to think of something to beat Megalon. Finally he thought of something.

"By being unexpected." He said. Baragon gave him a confused look.

"What?" He questioned.

"He may have both brain and brawn, but that doesn't mean he can expect everything." Mechagodzilla said, "If we can combine our abilities, he won't know how to count them. Think about it, how can you win a fight if you don't know your opponent's moves." Baragon was in complete thought about Mechagodzilla plan. If they did combine abilities, Megalon will be overwhelmed and can't do anything about. The two monster gave each other a nod and gave their battle positions. Mechagodzilla launched his missiles again, only for Megalon to destroy them again. Just then, through the smoke came Baragon and gave Megalon a kick to the face. Mechagodzilla used his jet boosters to increase his speed in order to grab Megalon's horn and threw him against a mountain.

"What just happened?" Megalon said. The monster duo stood next to each other to show they mean business.

"Teamwork happened." Baragon said, "You may have the brains and brawn to fight one of us, but not both of us."

"We both underestimated you, something you don't do during a fight." Mechagodzilla said, "By underestimating your opponents, you don't keep your guard up and have no idea what their capable of."

"And now, we're going that to beat you." Baragon said. Megalon was filled with anger and used his spit bomb attack. Both Mechagodzilla and Baragon used their abilities together to destroy the bombs. Megalon's face was now filled with fear.

"This is impossible!" Megalon said. Mechagodzilla launched himself to Megalon to give him a punch in the face, only for Megalon to dodge and his fist go through the mountain. Before he could react, Baragon bit down on his next and gave Mechagodzilla the chance the throw a few punches before lifting him and threw him several feet away.

"Not in our vocabulary." Baragon said. The two looked at each other as they were surprised by their own abilities when their used together. They may not be the same, but they made quite the team. They looked back at Megalon who was close to defeat and decided to finish him off. Mechagodzilla opened his mouth and shot lighting to Megalon's chest and Baragon shot a magma ball to his eyes. The alien kajiu took both attcks and yelled in as he was blinded by Baragon's attack. He knew he didn't stand a chance and made one last call before leaving.

"When we meet again, I'll bring your heads to Ghidorah." As so the monster bug took to sky until he was not to be seen again. Mechagodzilla and Baragon shared a victory roar as they won against Megalon.

"Go to admit, for a piece of metal, your a tough fighter." Baragon said, "Look, I'm sorry for not trusting you. Ever since the war with the humans, I've had some trust issues and just wanted to protect them. Now I realized that I almost pushed away a member of my team. What to you say, apology accepted?" He gave out one of his front paws for a hand shake. Mechagodzilla returned the handshake for his apology.

"Apology accepted." Mechagodzilla said, "Now let's go home. I'm sort of done with weirdness for one day."

"Same here." Baragon said.

"And so, me and Baragon put our differences aside and became close friends. I learned that just by looking at an opponent, doesn't mean you know your opponent and that you can't rely on your self to win the battle. You have friends to help you win, even if your not the same." Mechagodzilla said as he finished his story. The changelings, even Thorax thought the story was something unlike before.

"That was the best story we have ever heard!" Thorax said, "Out the the coolest things I've heard, this has to be number one."

The other changelings thought the story was something they wanted to hear over and over again. Mechagodzilla wanted to share more stories, but he thought it was time to go to the next spot of Equestria.

"Thank you Thorax." Mechagodzilla said, "I have plenty of stories to tell, but I have more places to explore." The changelings groaned as they did not want him to leave. Some of the younger changelings wrapped around his legs to make him stay.

"Please don't go."

"We want to hear more stories."

"Guys, give him some space." Thorax ordered. The young changelings did as they were told.

"Sorry Thorax, he has some more places to go in Equestria if you don't mind." Twilight said.

"I understand Twilight. Just as long as he comes back to tell more stories, I'm good." Thorax said.

"Great." Twilight said, "Alright Mechagodzilla, our next stop is the dragon lands."

Just like before, Twilight used her teleportation spell and they were gone.

My hands hurt so much! This took way longer than I expected. Sorry if the fight scenes were to boring for you. I was in a hurry. If there are things I need to fix, let me know and I'll fix them. Next chapter, Mechagodzilla goes to the dragon lands and meets Ember. How exciting.
