Mechagodzilla was built for one purpose, kill the king of the monsters Godzilla. But during their battle, Mechagodzilla gets a glimpse of the past and realizes that he more than just a machine, but rather as living being like Godzilla. He breaks the chains of the humans and joins Godzilla and his friends on monster island and becomes a members of the earth defenders.
But the humans saw Mechagodzilla as a tratior to humanity by joining the monsters and want to get rid of Godzilla and his allies once and for all. So, they build a machine that is set to banish Godzilla and the other monsters to another world and never to return. Instead of Godzilla, Mechagodzilla took the shot and has some how end up in a world of talking ponies and other mythacal creatures. Mechagodzilla will learn the power of love and friendship, but he most also find a way back home and reunite with his fellow monsters.

The Mechgodzilla/Kiryu in this story is the thrid one from Godzilla againest Mechagodzilla(2002). Some of the ideas are the ones I came up with and some of the movies events are connected or not connected to the other movies. The events in Equestria take place after season 8 and during season 9.

Mechagodzilla or Kiryu( whatever you want to call him) and other monsters belongs to Toho.
