It was almost 6AM when Lonny along with Special Agent Slippery Stream along with their prisoner in tow.After Lonny had Tofu transported to The Urgent Care Center of Ponyville Community Hospital.Tofu's hand was X-Rayed and it turned out his hand wasn't broken.After Tofu was released,Lonny put the cuffs on him,and read him his rights.And transported him back to the barracks.With Agent Stream.Brought Tofu up to the squad room,and had a uniform put him in interrigation.Lonny and Agent Stream went to see Big Mac and Captain Goldtalon.

As soon as Lonny entered.Goldtalon asked,"So where in Tartarus have you been all morning??"

Lonny replied,"Sorry Cap.I had to take that guy to Ponyville Community,after I nearly broke his hand when he swung a pipe at me."

Goldtalon asked,"Is he gonna live??"

Lonny replied,"Yeah.He'll live,so Cap anything new??"

Goldtalon replied,"Go ask your partner.The city doesn't pay me to do my job and your's too."

Lonny replied,"I'm on it.I'm on it."

Lonny then went back to his desk,and he saw Agent Stream go to the mare's restroom,as he went back to his desk Big Mac came up,and asked,"And just where in tarnation were ya all morning??"

Lonny replied,"Oh don't you start in on me too.Cap just asked me the same damn question.So where are we??"

Agent Stream returned from the restroom,and Big Mac said,"Well howdy there Agent Stream.Everthin allright??"

Agent Stream replied,"I'm fine.Thanks.And how about you Detective Apple??"

Big Mac blushed and answered,"Ahh shucks.Ah'm fine."

Lonny looked at his partner and said,"What is this??A police station or a singles bar??Can we get back to the case please??"

Big Mac said,"Well.Rover made positive I.D.s on Tempeh,his brother,and Wheat Grass.,and Ah had in both names run through R & I.,Wheat Grass is clean,but Tempeh has priors."

Lonny asked,"For what??"

Big Mac replied,"Mostly armed robbery and aggrivated assault.And It seems that back in 2009 Tempeh did time for ponyslaughter down in Applewood.He was chagred with murder,but his lawyer got it pled down to ponyslaughter.He did 2 years out of a 7 year sentence."

Lonny replied,"Good and if we can get Ms.Chatterbox to make a positive I.D.,we got a slam dunk."

Big Mac then said,"Already took care of that.Ah got her comin in,she should be here in a bit.She's bein brought in from "The Dungeon."

Agent Stream asked,"How did you do that??"

Big Mac answered,"Ah just asked her lawyer to reminded her that the more she cooperates.The better it will be for her court case."

Lonny said,OK.So Stream.You call your boss and brief him,tell him as soon as we get the warrants.We're raiding "Boops for Stuff".but first,we confirm some things and I need to make a call."

Lonny picked his phone and dailed,When the pony on the other end.Lonny said,"Hello Raity....It's Lonny......We need one more favor from you......I promise it's not dangerous.......You can....Great.....See you in about an hour....Great....Thanks...Bye."

Justas Lonny hung up Bic Mac's phone rang.It was from the front desk.Big Mac answered and said,"Apple......Eyup......OK....Keep her in the van....Ah'll be right down.....Eyup...Thanks."

Big Mac looked up and said,"She's here.Downstairs in the back."

Lonny said,"Lets go."

Both detectives and Agent Stream went downstairs with Big Mac holding a folder,they went to the prisoner loading area and saw the van from "The Greater Canterlot City Jail"Also called "The Dungeon".When Lonny.Big Mac and Agent Stream arrived,2 Detention Officers from "The Dungeon"were guarding Chatterbox,who was in a blue jail uniform,and wearing a bellyband,handcuffs and legirons.Standard procedure for all inmates.

Big Mac said,"Mornin,Ms.Chatterbox.How are ya today??"

Chatterbox replied,"How am I supposed to feel??I'm in jail.So what do you want??"

Lonny replied,"We want you to look at some photos for us."

Chatterbox asked,"And if I help you.Are you gonna help me??"

Lonny replied,"We'll tell The D.A.and Princess Twilight that you cooperated.That will go a long way in your court case."

Lonny opened the folder and Chatterbox looked at the photos and pointed to the photos and saw Tofu's photo and said,"This pony.He drove the car.The night Blu Buttercup was murdered."

Chatterbox then saw the photos of Wheat Grass and Tempeh and said,"And these two.They went into the apartment.And came out a few minutes later."

Lonny asked,"Are you sure about that Ms.Chatterbox??"

Chatterbox replied,"Yeah.I'm sure."

Big Mac asked,"And how did ya see them??"

Chatterbox sighed and replied,"I saw them with my telescope.I thought Blu Buttercup was having one of her wild sex parties.I had no idea,she was murdered,until I went inside her apartment and found her dead,and stole her necklace.Can I go back to jail now??They're just about to serve breakfast."

Big Mac replied,"Yeah,you can go."Big Mac looked at the 2 detention officer's and said,"Take her back boys."

The Detention Officers nodded and left.Lonny.Big Mac and Agent Stream went back upstairs and stopped at their esks and went to the interrigation room and Lonny told the unifromed officer who was watching him he could return to his duties.Lonny then slammed the case file on the table and said,"Your done Tofu.You have have been positively indentified as the driver in both The Blu Buttercup homicide,and in The Rose Petal homicide."

Big Mac then said,"And that means ya'all lookin at,2 counts ofMurder.2 counts of Conspirociy to commit murder.And 2 counts of Accessory to commit murder,before and after the fact.That means ya'all be gettin the rope."

Tofu replied,"I didn't kill nopony."

Big Mac said,"We know,ya just drove the car,but that don't matter in the eyes of the law buddy,yer just as guilty,as if ya did the killin yerself."

Lonny then said,"Of course.You help us.We help you.avoid going to the gallows.You get it??"

Tofu replied,"What do you want??"

Lonny replied,You testify against your brother.Wheat Grass.And the shit they're putting in the products at "Boops for Stuff".You do and maybe you get out of prison while your still young."

Tofo replied,I...I can't....I mean...he's my brother........Damn.....Damn that bitch.......She put him up to it............Using her pussy as a weapon."

Lonny said,"Tell us what we want to know,and you might be saving his life.And yours."

Big Mac said,"Ya'all bein to a hangin??Mah partner and I have,about a year and a half ago.Ya see.We put a guy away who commited murder,durin an armed robbery of a local market.One of his victims was a pregnant mare about 10 months pregnant.Her unborn foal didn't survive.Anyhow.This is what happened,The condemmed was brought to the gallows from the death cell.The warden read the death warrant singed by Princess Celestia.He was asked if he had any last words.When he said he was sorry for what he done.He was lead up 13 steps to the platform and the rope.The guards had ta help him up those steps.And it aint nuthin like in the movies,or on T.V.When a stallion gits hung and he goes ta his death bravely.Nope.He was so scared.His legs and arms had to be secured with leather straps.Then the black hood was put over his head.Then he started cryin.Like a little foal,and askin fer his momma.Nopony knows why,maybe fer himself,and the bad choices he made in life that led him to the rope,or his victims.And the pain he inflicted on their families.Then he started breathin heavily.Then the rope was put around his neck."

Lonny then said,"The rope was positioned,so the eye of the noose was put just behind the left jaw,and just to the back of the ear.The warden then looked at his watch,looked at the executioner,and nodded.The executioner then pulled the lever very quickly and the trap door opened,and the pony fell.And he screamed as he fell.When the rope straighened,his neck broke.Everypony heard it.Me.My partner.The victims family.His lawyer.The Deputy D.A. who prosecuted him.And of course the warden,the guards,and the press.It was a sickly sound,nit like a twig breaking,But he didn't just die.Ohhh no.His body went into convulsions,for a bit,until he finally stopped moving.The doctor then check for a heartbeat.When he couldn't find one.He declared him dead.And his body lost control of his motor functions,and he pissed and shit himself.And evryppony could smell the stink.And now that very fate awaits you."

Big Mac then said,"You can avoid all that.If ya'all cooperate.With us and The R.C.P.S.Agent Stream here will tell ya."

Stream then said,"If you agree to testify in Royal Court about how "Boops for Stuff has been cutting corners and putting dangerous ingredients in thier products.You do that,and You might avoid the death penalty."

Lonny then said,"Life of Death Tofu.The choice is yours.You think about that for awile,until your lawyer gets here."

The three left the room,and gave Tofu time.Time to think about his fate.

Author's Note

Chapter 13.Lonny and Big Mac and Agent Stream are building thier cases.Cahtterbox and Rover Dover turn out to be very helpful.

Tofu is then told a story about an execution Lonny and Big Mac had to attend.And it makes Tofu think.
