Lonny and Big Mac arrived at the parking lot of "Barnyard Bargins".The parking lot was busy with several blue and whites,with their red and blue overhead lights on and rotating and unifromed officers keeping the lookylews out.Vanilla Pudding and Spy Glass were already there doing their work.A white canvas surrounded the car,with the body of Rose Petal still in the drivers seat.This was done to keep somepony from seeing the horrific crime scene,and freaking out.Lonny and Big Mac walked up and one of the uniformed officers let them in the crime scene.

Lonny asked Officer Almond Butter,A pegasus,"OK Butter.Talk to us."

Butter said,"We got one Rose Petal.Female.Satyr.39.Shot to death,actually blown up with what Spy Glass says is a sawed off shotgun.Her head is almost gone."

Big Mac asked,"How'd ya'all establish her identity??"

Butter repiled,"We ran her licence plate thru DMV."

Lonny asked,"Who called it in??"

Butter pointed to the homeless Diamond Dog who was sitting on the curb eating a sandwhich and drinking a soda.while being watched by another officer.And said,"That Diamond Dog over there.He flagged us down,says he saw the whole thing.Says his name is Rover Dover.I got him something to eat."

Lonny said,Allright.Good work Butter.We'll take it from here.And keep that Diamond Dog handy,we'll want to talk to him."

Butter replied,"You got it.Oh and Sarge.When is Apple Cider Season starting up??"

Lonny replied,"Soon.We'll let you know."

Butter said,"Thanks Sarge."

Butter went back to work,Lonny and Big Mac looked over the car.with the body still in it.

Lonny said,"OK Van.Lets see it."

Van lifted the now bloody white sheet and saw the body.The head was almost completely disintergrated,blood and tissue were everywhere inside the car.

Big Mac asked,"Aside from the obvious Van,are you certain as ta how'd she died??"

Van answered,"Yeah.She got a face full of buckshot.She didn't see it coming.

Big Mac asked,"What type of shotgun do ya reckon??"

Van replied,"Oh.I'd say a double barrel,over/under.About 4 inches under legal."

Lonny looked at Spy Glass and asked,"Anything in her purse Spy??"

Spy Glass replied,"Ummm,Just her wallet,drivers licence,credit cards,cash about 300bits.In the purse,cigarettes,lighter,a couple of tampons.Nothing out of the ordinary."

Lonny said,"OK guys.You find anything else out.Let me or Big Mac know."

Van said,"Done."

Spy said,Got it."

Lonny and Big Mac walked up to the Diamond Dog and Lonny nodded to the officer watching him.After the officer gave them some privacy.

Lonny looked at the diamond dog and said,"Good morning sir.Are you Rover Dover??"

Rover replied,"Yes.I am Rover Dover."

Lonny said,"Pleased to meet you Mr.Dover.I'm Sergeant Williams,this is my partner Detective Apple."

Rover replied,"Please.Call me Rover."

Lonny replied,"Ok.Call me Sergeant Lonny."

Big Mac said,"And call me Detective Big Mac."So Rover.Can ya tell us what happened??"

Rover said,"Yes.I saw woman get shot.I was putting bed down behind dumpster."

Lonny said,"OK so tell us,what did you see Rover??"

Rover replied,"I see woman in car smoking,looking at watch.Then I see other car,with 2 ponies inside."

Big Mac asked,"Were they male or female??"

Rover replied,"1 male in driver seat.1 female in passenger seat."

Big Mac replied,"OK.And what did these ponies look like??"

Rover replied,"Pony who drove car,was green pony,with blond hair.lady pony had long hair,wore glasses."

Lonny asked,"And what else??"

Rover replied,"Pony lady get out of car,have bag,walk up to ladies car.Tapped on window.Lady in other car open window.They talk.Then other car,rear hatch open.Another pony come out."

Big Mac asked."Other pony??"

Rover replied,"Yes.other pony,big pony.walked up to car,next thing.Boom Boom.They leave.After they leave,I look at poor woman,she look dead.I went out to sidewalk,saw police car,waved to them.Told them what happened."

Lonny asked,"Would be able to indentify them,if you saw them again??"

Rover replied,"Yes.I can do this.I saw them good."

Lonny said,"Great.Thank you Rover,We'll have driven down to the barracks,and look at some photos."

Rover said,"OK.I go to police station."

Lonny said,"Good.You wait here OK.And one of our uniforms will take you."Lonny looked at Big Mac and said,"Bro.You ride with Almond Butter back to the barracks,get a photo array ready,get those photos of Wheat Grass,Tempeh,and his brother,that we got from DMV.I'll join you later.And call Twilight Sparkle.We gonna need warrants."

Big Mac replied,"Eyup.And where will ya be brother??"

Lonny replied,"I gonna make a call,and then.I gotta wake up Rarity."

Big Mac said,"Allright.I'll see ya;all back at the barracks."

Big Mac took Rover Dover and he along with Officer Almond Butter,left in a blue and white.And went back to Ponyville Barracks.Meanwhile.Lonny made a call from a payphone to a pager number.A few minutes later the payphone rang.Lonny answered it and talked like a hippie.The voice on the other end said,"Hey.What's up??"Lonny recognized the voice of Special Agent Slippery Swearl.Lonny asked,"Hey baby.You alone??"Swearl replied,"Nah man.What's up??"Lonny replied,"Well I thought we could you know,get some coffee and talk.I mean,if ya wanna."Swearl asked,"Right now??It's 4 in the morning."Lonny replied,"Yeah.Come on man.Let's talk."Swearl replied,"OK man.OK.Where do you wanna meet??"Lonny replied,"How about the all night diner??"Stream replied,"Cool.I'll be there in about 30 minutes."Lonny replied,Cool,I'll be waiting."And hung up

As Slippery Stream hung up and turned around,she was startled when a green earth pony was in back of her.

Stream said,"Oh Tofu.You startled me??"

Tofu asked,"And where do you think your going at this hour??"

Stream asked,"Oh an old coltfriend is back in town,and he just wants to talk."

Tofu replied,"Oh OK.Well have a good time."

Stream replied,"I will.Thanks"

Stream then got into her "Corona"and left for "The Nighthawk Diner."About 25 minutes later.Slippery Stream entered the diner and saw Lonny sitting at a booth drinking coffee.Sream went and sat across from him ordered coffee from a waitress,and looked back at Lonny and said,"OK Williams.You dragged me out here.So what's up??"

Lonny said,"We got another murder,connected to "Boops for Stuff"Somepony gave Rose Petal,the modeling agent.A .12 Gauge facelift.Both barrels."

Stream replied,"Oh fuck.How do you know it's related to "Boops for Stuff"??"

Lonny said,"We have a witness that saw the crime happen,and is at the barracks looking at a photo array,And I'm confident Tempeh is the pony who will be positively I.D.ed.So what kind of evidence do you have??"

Stream showed Lonny her necklace and replied,"Everything I have is on the crystal on the charm on this necklace.It's R.C.P.D. standard issue.It records video and audio."

Lonny said,"OK.So do you have enough evidence??Because as soon as I get the warrants.We're raiding the place."

Stream replied,"I guess I do."

Then Stream saw a familiar face enter the diner.The face saw her too.

Stream said,"Oh shit!!"

Lonny asked,"What??"

Stream replied,"It's Tofu.Tempeh's brother.And we've just been made."

Lonny looked at the pony and said to Stream,"Take the front.I'll go around back."

Lonny ran out of the back door to the diner.Agent Stream ran out the front,both had guns drawn.Lonny then saw Tofu in an electric car try to start it,with no luck.

Tofu said,"Dammit.Come on.Start already."

Lonny then snuck up behind Tofu and pointed his .44 at his head.And said,"POLICE!!!HANDS ON THE WHEEL!!!!NOW!!!"

Tofu replied,"anything you say officer,anything you say."

Just then Tofu,using his left hand took a swing at Lonny with a lead pipe.Lonny dodged the pipe,and used the butt of hos gun and slammed it down on the top of Tofu's hand....Hard.Tofu screamed in pain and from the shcok of being hit,dropped the pipe from his hand and held his now injured body part in his right hand.

Tofu winced and said,"Man.You broke my fuckin hand!!"

Lonny cocked the hammer of his gun and said,"Do something stupid like that again,and a broken hand will be the least of you're problems.Now out you're hands out the window.Right Now."

Stream walked up pointing her gun at Tofu and opened the passenger side of the car.Checking for other occupants.

Stream said,"The car is clear Sergeant."

Tofu saw Slippery Stream's badge hanging from a chain around her neck."ROYAL COMSUMER PROTECTION SERVICE.KINGDOM OF EQUESTRIA.SPECIAL AGENT."

Tofu said,"You're fuzz too.Oh man.That is a total buzzkill."

Lonny hand cuffed Tofu to his car door,and Ran to"The Jav"and used his cars two-way radio,to call for an extra unit and an ambulance.

Author's Note

Chapter 12.Lonny and Big Mac go to the Rose Petal crime scene,and they also have a witness.Lonny then calls Agent Slippery Stream and Tofu tries to be smart,and nearly pays with his life.
