"Twilight... take a breath" said the purple mare to herself, standing just outside the door to the Ocellus' room. "Your daughter should understand, why you hid it from her"

Twilight began to breathe faster and faster, as long as the image of her angry daughter appeared in front of her.

She stepped back, with a very scared expression.

"What if she does not want to know me?" Twilight bit her lip nervously. "What if she feels disgusted, everytime she see me?"

The stressed purple mare, looked to the floor.

"If she did not want to see you, she would avoid lessons with you" she whispered to herself. "On the other hoof, she would sooner go crazy than avoid the lessons in which I participate"

Twilight with surprised expression, looked at the door, in front of her.

"She likes reading books..." she whispered, starting to fade with shock. "...Just like me!"

The purple mare slowly raised her left front hoof near the door, intending to knock, but something held her back.

"What if she's busy right now?" she tapped her chin. "I am sure she is now studying an important test"

Twilight turned back, with the intention of leaving the corridor, but stopped right at the exit.

She was thinking.

Some force majeure held her near Ocellus' room.

"No... I can not get away from my only child now" she said firmly.

Twilight sighed, and knocked on the door.

She heard small hooves jump from something soft, probably the bed, also hearing small hoofsteps heading for the door.

"Is somepony there?" Twilight heard a childish voice, mixed with a nervous tone.
"It's me Ocellus!" the purple mare shouted, this time not interested in other students' rooms. "Headmare Twilight!"

The handle slowly moved, as the door opened with a loud creak.

In the doorway, a purple mare saw a small cyan changeling gazing at her with curiosity in her dark blue eyes.

"Hello mo- I mean Headmare Twilight" the small bug pony corrected herself. "What brings you here?"

Twilight looked behind Ocellus, into her room. On her daughter's bed laid an elegantly arranged book.

"What are you reading?" she asked, stepping a little closer.

The cyan changeling took it from her bed, and hid it on the shelf.

"Nothing interesting" Ocellus nervously chuckled.

Twilight took a deep breath entering her room.

"Oh dear Princess Celestia!" the purple mare gasped, after looking around.

The entirety of Ocellus' room looked like a tornado passed through it.

Inter alia... Torn out cards with drawings were laying on the floor, while packages of the sweets were crooked on the shelves.

"Do not pay attention to the mess, ma'am" The cyan changeling, gently took some crumpled pages off the floor with magic. "I did not expect a guest"

Twilight was sad, only hearing, how her daughter called her.

Ma'am.

"Do you want something to drink?" Ocellus using magic, took two thermoses lying on her bedside table. "I have tea and orange juice. For choice, for color"

The purple mare tapped her chin, examining the thermoses with her eyes.

"I am rarely drinking juice so..." Twilight commented, with a polite tone. "I choose tea"

The cyan changeling chuckled, and levitated the thermos with tea to her headmare.

"Honestly? I would prefer to drink from a cup" she looked into the eyes of her daughter.

Ocellus giggled again.

"What a dummy I'am"

The cyan changeling climbed onto the bed, opening the cabinet and looking for things you can drink from.

Twilight only stared at her, with a smile. She was so tiny when Twilight last saw her, and now, She is one of the best students of her school.

After a few minutes, Ocellus came down with the whole set on her back. She went to a small table surrounded by chairs, putting the cups down so quietly, so as not to make a noise.

Namely, she put a plate and a cup on it.

"Why did you bring the whole set with you?" the purple mare raised her eyebrow. "We only need two cups"

The cyan changeling looked back, at her headmare, and raised her right ear.

Her facial expression was priceless.

"I... umm" she swallowed air to her cheeks. "I take the whole set just in case"

Twilight smirked.

"She must have inherited it from me too" the purple mare whispered to herself

Twilight looked ahead and was shocked. The young changeling was a meter away from her, and gazed at her with her beautiful dark blue eyes. Her expression said she was confused.

"You said something Headmare Twilight?" Ocellus asked, waiting for a more clear response from her headmare.

"Oh my Celestia!" she shouted, feeling her heart beating faster.

"Is something wrong headmare Twilight?" The cyan changeling bit her lip, with curiosity.

Twilight sighed, and looked at the young bug pony creature.

"You scared me Ocellus"

"I'm sorry headmare Twilight" Ocellus coughed. "I just wanted to know what you were talking about"

I think this is a good moment Twilight thought.

"I was just thinking about what I wanted to talk to you about" she smiled, and looked back at small table with two cups, and thermoses "Have a seat"

Twilight and Ocellus sat on chairs opposite of each other.

The purple mare sighed, seeing the cyan changeling staring back at her.

Ocellus poured tea into Twilight's cup, and juice into cup into the front of her.

Twilight was waiting patiently.

The cyan changeling smiled and looked at her guest.

"What did you want to talk about, headmare?"

The purple mare looked at her cup, this time with a more serious expression.

"You know that I'm your biological mother, right?"

Ocellus looked sadly at her mother.

"Yeah" she nodded.

Twilight closed her eyes, and cleared her throat.

"...and you probably know that you were created by accident?"

A tear began to flow from Ocellus' right eye.

"Y-yes..." she nodded, but more shivering. "I k-know"

The purple mare opened her eyes, and looked at Ocellus

"Don't cry" she sighed. "I would like to tell you what happened after your birth, Do you want to hear this?"

The young changeling rubbed her nose and nodded.

"Listen carefully, because this story will be long" Twilight cleared her throat one more time. "It was like that..."

A group of five ponies talking with the doctor stood in the hospital corridor.

"S-she... S-she left her changeling newborn without food, l-lock-locked in a c-chest?" the yellow pegasus asked.

Doctor Horse nodded.

"If it was not for the help of medics..." he sighed. "The infant would've starve to death"

"I don't get it, how can somepony be so incompetent" the orange earth pony gritted her teeth. "I'd oughta go over there and knock her block off"

The doctor looked at her with gloomy eyes.

"I do not advise you to visit her..." he said. "She lost a lot of blood, and stress would not help her"

"We should be calm while the child suffers because of her?" The rainbow pegasus squeezed her hooves with anger. "While now she sleeps in peace?"

Doctor Horse rubbed his forehead in concentration.

"Just understand, Princess Twilight Sparkle went through uterine surgery" he sighed. "And the dose of stress will not help her in this situation"

The group of five mares, looked at each other and whispered among one another.

They whispered to each other for several minutes, until the white unicorn looked at the doctor.

"Excuse me? When can we talk to her?" she asked, with a warm and caring tone. "When will she wake up?"

"It's a matter of time" he said. "Her body must recover after surgery"

Nurse Redheart was examining the changeling infant, fresh after feeding it with bottle milk.

She gingerly spread newborn's legs, and looked between them.

"It's a girl" she said, before giving a newborn to the midwife to be burped.

The midwife mare raised the infant in the air, patting her on the back, so she would not choke and out came a burp.

"Good girl" the midwife said as she was putting the newborn into incubator and closing it. "Go back to sleep little one, you'll be in your mother's hooves soon" The midwife said as she monitored the infant's recovery.
