Twilight Sparkle was playing with her daughter Sunshine Sparkle. She was having the time of her life and her daughter makes her day even brighter than the others. She would sometimes cancel her meetings when Sunshine would tell her to come play with her which Twilight couldn't deny her daughter's request. Her door opened to reveal Rarity with her daughter Applejewel who rushes to Sunshine and both of the fillies started to play The Knight and The Princess.
"It's lovely to see you Queen Twilight". Rarity said as she bows to Twilight which made the alicorn feel uncomfortable because her best friend is doing this to her. "Ra-Rarity, you don't need to be so formal with me, we're best friends". Twilight said.
"I know darling but the title fits you". Rarity smiled and both of them watched as their daughters were playing with each other that it never fails to put smiles on their faces.
"It just feels weird when you girls call me that. Are they coming here as well Rarity?"
"Yes Twilight. My Jackie is taking care something on the farm and told me that she will catch up with the others, Sunshine really does look like her".
"Yeah..... I really miss her but it's for the best". Twilight sighed and looks down remembering the human she had fell in love with.
"I'm sure she will come back for you someday, you'll never know".
"But the portal was shattered by the princess herself.... There's no way Sunset would come back to save me". Sunshine's ears perk up when she heard her mom had said that name again.
"Mom I know I keep asking this but who's Sunset? You would sometimes mention that name but you never told me who the pony is". Sunshine said.
"Oh sweetie.... I will tell you when you're old enough to understand". Twilight said as she embraces her daughter.
"I just don't want to see you sad mom". Sunshine replied and left her mother's arms to play with Applejewel again.
Then, the door opened wide to see Twilight Sparkle's friends happily greeted her with a hug and their kids went towards Sunshine to play with her. They all left the kids to Sunshine's room and went to the throne room to talk, they were all having a lively and awesome conversation until the door opened to reveal Twilight's personal guard and was in love with her.... Flash Sentry. He smugly smiled and went to Twilight bravely which annoyed them.
"Your highness, since their are no other suitors that can take your hoof in marriage how about you and me get married. I'll be the suitor you wish to have". Flash said.
"Listen here buster, Twilight will never in a million moons would marry the likes of you!!" Pinkie shouted.
"Besides Flash, She already got a special somepony in her mind". Applejack said glaring at the guard.
"You're just jealous that I didn't choose you ladies I mean Rainbow there is married to Fluttershy, Rarity is married to Applejack, don't get me started on Pinkie Pie who married Princess Skystar". Pinkie growled and Applejack bites her tail to stop her.
"YOU TAKE THAT BACK!"
"Um darlings".
"You leave Dashie out of this!"
"I don't know why Princess Celestia entrusted you to Twilight!"
"DARLINGS!"
"WHAT RARITY?!"
They all stop when they heard and feel the ground was shaking. They heard the kids were screaming which made Twilight teleport herself and the others except for Flash to the balcony and the kids were frighten when they saw a bunch of maidens, guards, animals, and a marching band. Twilight looks at her friends in confusion and looks back at the event that was happening. She saw the ponies were looking happy and the kids were happy because of the music. Twilight saw a stallion wearing a butler outfit, his coat was white, black maned, and a pegasus.
"I thought there were no suitors left to become my husband?" Twilight asked.
"Never listen to Flash, Twilight". Applejack said.

"Make way for Prince Shining!"
"Say hey! It's Prince Shining!"
"Hey! Clear the way in the old bazaar Hey you! Let us through! It's a brand new star! Oh come, be the first on your block to meet his eye!" The stallion sang and the crowd cheered, Sunshine Sparkle watch in awe on how colorful the parade was. Twilight Sparkle levitates her daughter and puts Sunshine above her head for a better view.
"Make way! Here he comes! Ring bells! Bang the drums! You're gonna love this guy!" Then they all look where the stallion was pointing at. It was a stallion with gray coat, black mane, and a pegasus just like the butler. Twilight Sparkle couldn't take her eyes off the pegasus who can tell that he is her suitor.
"Prince Shining! Fabulous he! Prince Shinning Star".
The girls couldn't help but dance to the song that was being played by the stallion. Twilight Sparkle noticed that her daughter was laughing with joy as she was watching Prince Shinning doing some flying tricks which look like it was more awesome than Dash's Wonderbolt performance. Then they stop in front of the castle and it seems like the song hasn't ended since they were waiting for the Queen's approval.
"Prince A- we're waiting for you! We're not going 'til you go" The stallion said as he was hoping Twilight would open the gate. The queen looks at her friends which they nod in approval.
"You can do it!" Then, Twilight taps her hoof on the railing of her balcony with a smile on her face.
"There it is!"
"Where is the princess?" Shining asked as he feels so nervous while his brother who was the butler from earlier name Starry Night who looked calm.
"She will be here soon, you don't rush a queen brother"
"SHE'S A WHAT NOW?!"
"Shush! You're going to embarrass both of us so shut your mouth and just be yourself!".
"I didn't even know she's a queen! Aw ponyfeathers I'm such a mess!"
"I said zip it Star she's coming". Starry said and the doors opened to reveal Twilight and Rarity coming towards them and Flash by their side. Shining gulps nervously and bows awkwardly which made Starry facehoof.
"Pleasure to meet you Prince Shinning Star and I welcome you to Canterlot". Twilight said.
"It-It's just as much.... a pleasure for me... your highness ma'am!" Shining yelled because of his nervousness and covers his mouth and looks away in embarrassment. He heard a giggle and looks up to see a little filly giggling, Twilight levitated the filly and puts her down.
"Mom he looks like a dork" Sunshine laughed.
"Sweetie, be nice to the prince". Twilight cooed and Sunshine shuts her mouth.
"I apologize for my brother's behavior Queen Twilight. I am Starry Night and he is just nervous to see you, he has been since we left". Starry said which took Twilight by surprise because her previous suitors were forward with her but Shining is different.
"I don't want to interrupt but what kingdom are you from?" Rarity asked.
"We're from a far away kingdom my lady". Starry replied.
"I need the name not location". Rarity said.
"Well my lady I came from Rainy Skies!" Shining said and Starry facehoof again.
"I am not familiar with that kingdom". Flash said and Sunshine was looking at Shining because there's something about the prince that... she felt that she had a connection with him.
"Wel-Well if you um look at the map, you can see it there!" Shining nervously smiles and suddenly frowned when Twilight began to laugh. The prince got a little upset because he made a fun of himself again.
"I am really sorry your highness".
"N-No! You look really cute when your embarrass". Twilight covered her mouth and both of them blushed.
"Th-Thank you". Shining said and Starry Night cleared his throat.
"It's lovely to meet you really but I'm going to have to say no".
"What do you mean?" Shining and Starry asked in confusion why Queen Twilight had said.
"I don't accept you as my suitor". Then a roar of laughter was heard and Sunshine joined in the laugh because she thought it was fun. Twilight raised a brow in confusion to why the brothers were laughing. They stopped and look at the queen again.
"We're here to be friends with you".
"Say what now?"
"Do all of your suitors make a grand entrance or am I the first?" Shining asked.
"We-Well no and yes you are". Twilight said.
"Well I just thought if I can be friends with you". Shining said.
He is different..... Oh no! I can't! Sunset Shimmer is the only one for me!
"I already found a place to spend the night your highness, You don't need to worry about me staying in this huge castle. We good? Okay bye!" Shining immediately flew away from the halls and Starry bowed before he followed his brother.
Queen Twilight Sparkle looks down at the ground blushing furiously. This was the first time that she had feelings for a suitor but Prince Shining only wanted to be friends with her, she felt a hoof touching her shoes and she looks to see her daughter smiling.
Come to think of it.... Sunshine didn't prank him
"I like him! Can you and Shining be together?" Sunshine asked.
"Ho-Honey you see..... I'm still waiting for your father to come". Twilight said as she nuzzle her daughter.
"Bu-But he never came!" Sunshine said.
"It takes time sweetie now go play with the others". Twilight kissed her daughter's cheek and Sunshine ran off to look for her friends.
"That turned out different". Rarity said.
"Tell me about it". Rainbow replied
"That was really embarrassing!"
"Well Starry it worked didn't it?"
They both were unpacking their stuff at their room and cleaning before they could call it a day.
"I'm starting to regret leaving home". Starry said.
"You said we're in this together and we really need to thank Discord and Pinkie for the wonderful parade we did". Shining happily said.
"Yeah remind me". Starry said as he cleans the floor.
"I can't believe she became queen. That means I don't have to worry about Princess Celestia".
"I didn't know she had a kid as well".
"The little fill sure is cute, I think she likes me!" Shining said.
"Don't keep your hopes up brother".
"You know we're just turned into stallions right?" Shining asked.
"I know and I just got use to calling you this.... How long are we going to lie to Twilight?" Starry asked.
"We will tell her when the time is right. It will take a while". Shining said.

Twilight Sparkle was raising the sun for the day. She heard a yawn and turns around to see her little Sunshine rubbing her eye with her hoof while using her magic to levitate Smartypants, the little filly went towards her mother and both of them shared a hug which never failed to put a smile on their face. They both broke off the hug and went to the dining room to eat. Sunshine beamed when he saw his brother Spike serving breakfast.
"Spike!" Sunshine trotted towards Spike and gave him a hug which made the dragon chuckle and hug the little filly back.
"Good morning Sunshine! Do you have any plans for today?" Spike asked as they all starting to eat their pancakes.
"I'm going to explore Canterlot on my own!" Sunshine happily replied as she munches her pancake.
"In your dreams Sunny, I already arrange two guards to protect you while you explore Canterlot". Twilight said.
"But I'm old enough to go outside on my own mom! I'm not a filly anymore" Sunshine complained.
"Um hate to break it to you kid you are still a filly Sunshine". Sunshine cutely glare at her brother.
"It's a dangerous world out there Sunshine, you will never know when somepony tries to kidnap you or worst! You might get attack by monsters! I don't want anything to happen to my only foal!" The queen then hugged her daughter as she cried and Sunshine was annoyed a little of how her mother is being dramatic right now.
"Mom your acting like Auntie Rarity and she is not that dramatic but when I really grow up no more guards okay?" Sunshine asked.
"I-I don't know honey....."
"Moooommm"
"Okay I promise now finish your breakfast Sunshine". The little filly happily munches her food again.
As they finished their breakfast, Sunshine hurriedly went to the bathroom to brush her teeth and a bubble bath which Twilight's help. After they were done with all of those, Sunshine was packing her saddle bag with important stuff like two books, a quill, bits, and Smarty Pants. She was about to leave the castle but was stop when she felt somepony had step on her tail making her sit on the floor. She looks on her side as she saw her mom looking at her and Sunshine smiled nervously and stood up as Twilight had remove her hoof off her tail. They both nuzzle each other and Twilight watch as her foal was being escorted by the guards. She started to cry again and Spike has this "Here we go again" face and pats Twilight's head.
Sunshine Sparkle is trotting around Canterlot with guards watching over her which she didn't mind, she understood that Twilight wanted to see her unharmed. She was greeted by many ponies who would see her which she had happily greeted back with a smile on her face. Sunshine's stomach growled and the guards thought that they heard enemies nearby.
"Calm down guys, I got hungry again. Let's stop by at Donut Joe, my treat". Sunshine said as she started to trot towards Donut Joe's shop with the guards.
"Young master its alright you don't need to give us your food we're fine". The guard said.
"Yeah and your mom might kill us if she knew that your spending your bits to treat us".
"It doesn't feel right when I'm the only one who gets to eat sweets, your my best friends after all". Sunshine cutely said which made the guards's heart melt of how generous the filly was. The guard opened the door for the little princess and they followed Sunshine to pick their table.
"What do you want to eat Sunshine?" The guard asked.
"The usual, what about you guys?"
"We'll just have tea young master". The guard told Joe their orders and the employee understood which it didn't take so long to give them their order. The three enjoyed their meal and the door open to reveal Shining Star and Starry Night looking handsome as ever.
"Hey! Your that dorky prince from yesterday!" Sunshine said as she looks at Shining.
"Your the gremlin from yesterday!" Sunshine pouted and Shining chuckled because he found it cute.
"I'm no gremlin". Sunshine mumbled and became surprise as Shining and Starry bowed at her presence.
"Um.... what are you two doing?"
"Just bowing to the princess". Starry replied as they look at her.
"It's really embarrassing". Sunshine said.
"How come princess?" Shining asked.
"Well I'm just a filly and to me it doesn't feel right when ponies bow in front of me...." The little filly explained.
"O-Oh! You're still not use to it? I feel you princess, I'm still not comfortable". Starry looks at the guards and they nod their heads to give tell them that its okay to seat with them.
"What do you mean? I thought you got use to it since your a prince". Sunshine asked.
"Uh I mean um... sorry kid I really need something to eat". Shining said and was shock when the little filly offered her the donuts she had ordered.
"Oh no can do princess I can just order". Shining nervously said.
"Its okay, mom told me that friends share all the time". Sunshine said with a smile on her face.
"We're... friends?"
"Of course!" Shining smiled and both of them munch their donuts like there's no tomorrow. The guards backed away slowly and Starry facehoofed because his brother had embarrass him in public... again.
"Wo-Wow! You both sure are hungry". Donut Joe nervously said.
After they were done and Sunshine had paid, the little filly was looking at the prince as they were walking making Shining a bit uncomfortable. He looks at the little filly and smiled.
"Something wrong princess?"
"So-Sorry...... I really wish I was born a pegasus".
"Why? I personally think that I prefer being a unicorn". Shining said.
"We-Well I thought that if I become a pegasus then I could always fly and feel like I am free but being a unicorn means more responsibilities".
"Now princess, I really want to offer you that request but your mom might kill me if she ever finds out that you got hurt". Shining said.
"Pleeeasssseeee" The little filly used her adorable pony face and Shining looks like he was about to die.
"BROTHER JUST GIVE THE FILLY WHAT SHE WANTS PLEASE JUST MAKE HER STOP!" Starry shouted and Shining sighed and signals Sunshine to hop on his back. Sunshine beamed in joy and got to his back, she screams in joy as Starry and Shining started to fly. It made the brothers smile as they can tell that the filly was really happy, the guards were right behind them as well just in case something might happen to her.
Sunshine Sparkle stared the whole kingdom in awe. Starry smiled and rubs the filly's head which made her giggle, Shining smile as well and does some tricks to impress Sunshine. Starry frowned and started to get worried that he's brother might drop the filly.
"Careful Star she might fall!"
"You worry to much brother the little on is having the time of her life! Right?" No response.
"She's falling isn't she?" Starry nods his head and all of them flew towards Sunshine who was falling.
"HANG IN THERE KID!" Shining shouted.
"YOU THINK?!" Starry replied.
Sunshine was giggling in happiness to feel the wind while the stallions were screaming in fear that the young princess might fall. Shining then flew past Starry and had saved the filly before she even hit the ground, He landed on the ground panting heavily. Never in his life was he that scared.
"Again! Again!" Sunshine giggled.
"You fool!" The guard snarled towards Shining.
"You almost could have killed the princess!"
"Look I'm really sorry it won't happen again, I'll let my brother do it next time".
"I'm afraid that there won't be a next time Prince Shining". They all turn around to see Spike and Twilight with an angry expression which made Shining gulp in nervousness.
"Mom! Shining gave me a ride on his back!" Sunshine said and frowns when Twilight was still glaring at the prince.
"You could have killed my daughter!"
"I'm sorry your highness! Its just that she requested it and I couldn't refuse a princess's request" Shining said.
"Is that true?" Sunshine nod her head and Spike signals the guards to take Sunshine with them.
"Mom I-"
"I don't want to hear it Sunshine. Your grounded for a month". Sunshine lowers her head in shame and started to walk away.
"That's cruel of you".
They all turn around to see Shining angry at the queen and Starry as well.
"What did you say?"
"Your daughter has nothing to do with this! This is all on me! I shouldn't have do some flying tricks! I just want to impress her, make her feel happy that I had fulfilled her dream and now you took her happiness away from her?! That's cruel of you to do that to your own flesh and blood!" Twilight's eyes winded as she could have sworn she heard Sunset's voice coming from Shining's mouth. She looks away and went back to the castle, as they had came back to the castle she nuzzled Sunshine and the little filly hugs her mother as she apologizes over and over again.
"Smooth move brother" Starry pats Shining's shoulder.
"What the hay did I just say to the queen?! Aw man I'm mess up now!" Shining said.
"Don't worry you big baby, I'm sure she's going to forget about this".
"Yeah". Shining nervously said as they both decided to go to the market place.
