Chapter 2 Preperation's for the Sunset Festival

It had been an almost normal day After taking care of said thing's, the Earth Defender's themselves, had been called to help out to prepare the new annual Sunset Festival, that Celestia herself had created. The wive's of the Earth Defender's had to stay behind; They really regretted leaving, but someone had to go help, and provide for their home's, and for their little ones. Among the area, was a certain Anthromorphic mare that paced outside Twilight's door nervously.

Starlight Glimmer herself was a bit nervous, as she was waiting for Twilight to help bring out the plan's, for the Sunset Festival. She loved going over with Twilight about it, and it was hard for the ponie's to get used to the Earth Defenders arrival, but they all seemed to slowly get accustomed to it. Starlight was excited for the Sunset Festival, as her friend's, Sunset Shimmer, and Trixie would also participate in said festival. Twilight Sparkle came out, giving her friend the green light on the project.

She also said "Hi" to the Earth Defenders as usual who helped get the festival ready. The Sunset Festival was essentially a swimming festival, all the mare's, and stallion's of Ponyville would be there in their chosen bathing suit's to swim, and relax in whatever lake, river, or beach it was held at. This year it was being held at a huge lake not too far south of Twilight Sparkle's castle. They had all set up stages, tables, meals, and anything that was actually helpful for the festival.

Sunest Shimmer was actually going to be in the Sunset dance, as she wore an Arabian Princess, dress, that exposed her belly. Trixie was doing all sort's of different trick's with the help of Starlight Glimmer. Twilight's coltfriend, Flash Sentry, along with Shining Armor, were the life guard's of the lake, both watching from near the shore of the lake. Rarity was Sun-bathing, and Applejack was selling some Apple Cider near the lake which helped quenched a lot of thirst's.

Twilight, was with Cadence, Celestia, and Luna, as Celestia soon stood up from her chair, as she began her announcement. "Ladies, and gentlecolt's I now ask that the Sunset Festival BEGIN'S!!!!!!!!" She shouted, as the crowd cheered before diving in relaxing, and some stallion's trying to pick up a few mare's with little to no success. Many stallion's, and colt's were swimming in the water, and enjoying their time. After a while Starlight Glimmer, and Trixie soon took a break from there magic, looking at the lake.

However what everyone failed to notice was, deep, deep, deep beneath the lake's water's thousand's of blood red eyes stared at the ponie's thrashing around above. All of them charged swimming toward the surface at high speed's. The creature's that were revealed, were large Anthromorphic Shark's, all of them male. They each had a dorsal fin on their back's, long muscular arm's with razor sharp claw's that could slice through steel, their leg's were also muscular, and sharp, and they also had thick oceanic skin, as their eyes were rolled back revealing blood doll eyes. There mouth's were opened wide, revealing thousand's of row's of razor sharp teeth.

They all swam to there first victim there animalistic carnivorous frenzied mind's, a state which they could not snap out of, as to them the ponie's were one thing, and one thing only.......FOOD
