Chapter 3 Blood in the water

A few minutes earlier.

The King of the Sharklantean's, knew it was that time of year, that would soon be upon them. Frenzy Season had come, and they were the last of there kind. Creature did not ask to be the King of the Sharklantean's, he never wanted the job. However he was proven to be a great king, making friend's with different type's of Sharklantean's. There were only so few Sharklantean's left, but ever since a strange presence came, there Frenzy Season came much earlier than they had ever expected.

The time itself was near, as he approached his Sharklantean friend's. Ripjaw, half Bull, and half Thresher Sharklantean, a mixed breed. He was always often bullied for being a mixed breed, which he hated, but after his position in the Sharklantean kingdom, he stared them down, which to be honest wasn't easy. Mega, the Megladon Sharklantean, standing at a towering 11 foot tall height, as the, average Sharklantean's were 9 feet Tall. Atomic the Nuclear mutated Megladon Sharklantean, who stood at a height of 10 Feet tall.

There was also Tigerclaw, a Tiger Sharklantean who was pretty big, and a huge suprised attacker being able to kill his prey with ease.

Last, but not least was Phantom, a Ghost Great White Sharklantean, who had the ability to manipulate his ghost like form to stay on ground, being able to touch item's, and eat, or could potentially act as a Ghost Sharklantean, and phase in, and out of solid object's "Ready?" Creature asked.

"Ready" They all replied in unison, as the last of these Sharklantean's dove into the mystical pool which teleported them to a lake, as they entered their frenzy mode their animalistic sense going crazy, both of them pursued to eat fish, as they still respected the pact made by the Ancient's to not eat Equestrian Ponies. As they rapidly devoured the school's of fish they soon became distracted by the splashing from above seeing the Anthro ponies above the water with them.

No, No, NOOOO!!!!!! PLEASE EQUESTRIANS PLEASE GET OUT OF THE WATER!!!!!!!! Creatures mind screamed, along with his friends, but the instinct was too strong with razor sharp jaws they approached there prey, as there jaw's opened wide.

As Rarity was enjoying the sun-bathing that helped her nice white skin, making her ever so more beatiful, she then saw a certain Blueblood come up to her, as she let out a grumble. "Why hello there young princess, would you like to go on a walk with me to a private spot where we can have some fun?" Blueblood smirked, as Rarity set aside her sun-bathing pan.

"I got a better idea" Rarity smiled, as she shoved Blueblood into the water, as he quickly surfaced with a shock look on his face, as Rarity laughed. Unfortuanetly for Blueblood....he was the first victim. Blueblood was immedietly sucked into the water, as the Sharklantean began to quickly devour his, body, and eat the flesh off his skeleton within second's, as everyone screamed seeing this attack. Many of the ponies began there attempt's to swim to shore, but they had no luck.

Minuette was sucked under the water screaming, as a whirlpool of Sharklantean's devoured most of the flesh on her body within second's, one Sharklantean quickly ripping the eyeball's from her socket's, and eating them. Bon Bon, and Lyra were barely able to get out of the water as it only got worse. Lemon Zest, and Twinkleshine tried swimming to the surface, but their bodie's were ripped in half, from the speedy Sharklantean's bite's, as this quickly dragged the bodie's down under, quickly eating the meat.

Some of the ponie's got on top of the guard tower, except it began to creak, as it snapped, as many victim's were added to the meal. Fancypants, Lily Valley, and Roseluck were also unlucky, and many more other ponie's were instantly devoured by the Sharklantean's in the water. There was blood everywhere. Twilight, and Cadence both heard the screams, and were the first to get there, while Celestia, and Luna got their royal guard's, and medical staff. Cadence, and Twilight watched Flash Sentry, and Shining Armor get many of the injured ponies, and the survivor's out of the water.

As Shining Armor helped get them all on land, a Sharklantean just inche's from the shore leaped out fo the water, it's hard jaw's clamping down onto his shoulder, as it began to chew at a rapid pace. Shining Armor screamed in pain, before punching the Sharklantean in the eye as it roared in pain, before diving back into the water. Shining Armor panted until three more Sharklantean's pounced on him, all at once, as one of them ripped of his head with there jaw's.

"SHINING NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!" Cadence screamed, as she watched her husband's deceased body get dragged beneath the water's to be devoured. As Cadence began to help bring other's out of the water trying to hold back her own sad tear's, as they were beginning to show more, and more. Starlight Glimmer began to get on top of one of the lifeguard tower's, to motion all of them out of the water.

"FLAAASSSSHHHH!!!!!!!" Twilight shouted. Flash Sentry looked up, as he realized a better area for him to safely guide the people to safety. He looked around,the only way to get to her, was through the water. Flash Sentry let out a sigh, as he dove into the water swimming as fast as he could to get to Twilight. He managed to dodge some of the Sharklantean's that were devouring other prey. He got super close to Twilight, as she grabbed both of his hand's. Suddenly Flash let out a pained scream, as Tigerclaw latched onto his legs, and wouldn't let go.

Twilight was now playing tug of war with Tigerclaw trying to keep a hold of Flash Sentry it's meal. "LEEET GOOOO!!!!!!" Twilight growled, her magic activating as it began to glow around Flash Sentry, but it also affected the Sharklantean named Tigerclaw. The marking of the Ancient's embedded on Tigerclaw's head began to glow unctrollably, as a loud boom made the tower, and Starlight Glimmer fall into the dangerous murky water's below. Starlight used her magic to quickly dodge many of the Sharklantean's.

However, Creature noticed Starlight Glimmer, and charged at her with lightning speed. Starlight Glimmer fired bolt's of magic at Creature, but he was the best in the water, as he easily dodged her blow's, and began to let out a roar, when he stopped. Creautes eyes went from a blood thirsty red doll's eyes, to a calm almost normal pupil colored pink. Creature then grabbed her face, as the Ancient's Hyroglyphic symbol on his head began to glow, a small mini laser carved the same exact color symbol on her forehead, as Starlight winced in pain.

After carving the symbol Creature let her go, and began to return to his other attack's as it began to continue to look for more food. Starlight began to swim to shore, as all of the Sharklantean's, both saw, and ignored her, as she finally got out of the water. The massacre had ended; Godzilla, and Mothra were immedietly called. The nurses, and doctors arrived, along with the Princesses guard's. As the guard's secured the area, they also quickly fended off the creature's attempting to walk on land, and captured one of them alive, while Twilight Sparkle carried what she might have guessed was Flash Sentry.

The Sunset Festival was ruined, and there were a few deceased ponies as Celestia, Luna, Starlight Glimmer, and Godzilla began their investigation.
