It had been two months since the inhabitants of the Underground had returned to the surface. Princess Celestia and Luna have been handling the diplomatic establishment of the the area they will call home with the government. Twilight returned home to her parents, Sunset’s opinions on humans were improving slightly as Twilight Velvet, Night Light, Shining Armour and Cadence were all very kind people.

One thing that had bothered Sunset was what Discord told her, what she did here didn’t warrant her learning as she still couldn’t interact with the world. Sunset was resting as Twilight frowned a question digging at her mind (What if I chose a different path?)

She then giggled (What am I saying, I can control time.) Sunset feels pulse of time energy, she opened her eyes only to see herself in the underground. She glared at Twilight “What did you do?!”

Twilight not noticing her continues through. Sunset noticed with things going fairly similarly to the first time until they encountered a Thestral. Twilight smiled “Let’s see if this works.” Sunset’s eyes widened in shock as she kills the thestral with a single punch causing to evaporate into magic.

Twilight then leap into a frenzy killing Thestrals left right as she progressed “Now I’m starting to see why the Lily enjoyed this.”

Sunset grimaced “So this si the path you’ve chosen. A killer like me huh. It seems you and I aren’t too different.” Twilight killed a Thestral and took a toy knife from their house.

Twilight continued along slaying ever Thestral she met, soon she arrived at Luna’s home. Sunset had a worried look on eh face as she watched everything turn out the same as before until Twilight headed down into the basement and with a single strike brought Luna low. Luna glared at Twilight “It seems I was protecting them from you.”

She then turned into magic, Sunset sobbed to herself (Luna). Twilight met with Fluttershy and Dash, she marched up to Rainbow who then flew off in a hurry with Twilight following much to the confusion of Fluttershy.

She then entered Snowville only to see all the houses locked. She then saw Rainbow Dash at the end of the path, Rainbow rushed at her only to be cut down with a single strike. Twilight grinned as she saw her LV reach 10 and her HP reached 55.

Fluttershy had only just arrived to see Rainbow’s favourite scarf laying in the snow, she growled tears in her eyes “THE HUMAN WILL PAY!”

Sunset was glaring at the Twilight with contempt “I have learned that there are some good humans out there but apparently you aren’t one! You’re enjoying this!”

Twilight saved and then grinned as she entered the Water Plains, her knife tearing through all ponies she came across with the exception of Scootaloo who she used as a pedestal to continue onward. Sunset’s eyes narrowed on the LV 13 with the HP of 65. She then saved again.

Soon Scootaloo confronts her “Spitfire told me about all the bad things you’ve done!”

Twilight grinned “You will die then!”

Sunset was about to try and block the attack only for Spitfire to push Scootaloo out of the way taking the hit her HP depleting to zero. She began to evaporate into magic “I’m sorry everypony, I’ve failed you.” She frowned as she felt something inside her “No, I won’t let you win!”

A burst of red light erupted as Spitfire’s armour sharpened and having a red heart shaped soul on it chestpiece. Twilight gasped as Spitfire began throwing spears at her, she screamed as several pierced through her. Sunset shouted “Finish her Spitfire!”

Sunset cheered as Twilight was defeated only to appear at the last save point. Each time Twilight returned to the fight each time she got more hits in while dodging more spears. After the fifth fight, Spitfire’s body began to dissolve only for her to laugh “Most of us have evacuated, Ponies will live on!”

Twilight shrugged as she levelled up to 14. Twilight continued on with a massive massacre in the Lava Cistern, Rarity glared at the human who had just arrived on the stage. Her mechanical body parts had been modified with advanced weaponry including a hoof cannon, she growled “I will kill you here and…” Twilight unleashed a slash tearing through Rarity, the mare coughed up blood “I guess Moondancer should have improved the defences.” The mare dissolved into magic. Twilight grinned at her LV 19 as headed through Canterlot, she saw chest with a Real Knife in it.

She chucked her toy knife in the chest with a grin as she took the Real Knife. She walked into a Golden Hallway only to see Fluttershy standing there with a vicious grin. Twilight saved and then stepped forward, Fluttershy shook her head “Take one more step and you;ll have a bad time.”

Twilight grinned as she took another step, Twilight’s soul was pulled into a battle box. She attacked with a grin which fade as Fluttershy causally sidestepped the attack before summoning countless blades and Harmony Blasters which obliterated Twilight.

Twilight growled as she attacked again and again only to get blasted. Sunset was watching with worry in her eyes as despite the countless victories for Fluttershy, Twilight was slowly adapting to her ablities.

Fluttershy grinned “So I’m sure that makes twenty, want to go for thirty.” A fights went on she could clearly see Fluttershy was wearing down, Fluttershy grinned “Now prepared for my ultimate attack.”

Twilight blinked as Fluttershy didn’t attack, Fluttershy grinned “If I don’t attack neither can you.”

Sunset was relieved even as Fluttershy fell asleep until she saw Twilight moving the battle box towards the attack button, she shouted “Fluttershy!”

Fluttershy didn’t respond, soon Twilight made to the box and swung. Fluttershy grinned did you really…”

Twilight launched a second strike which cut into the pegasus, Fluttershy collapsed to the ground. Sunset looked at Fluttershy “I will stop her.”

Fluttershy whispered “I know you will.” Twilight no hearing what was said grinned unaware that she was finally going truly face someone her match.

The Genocide Route in this story is a lot shorter because it's mainly a bunch of killing bbut don't worry the next chapter will start a betetr look at the surface world.
