A normal day (our Ponyville)View OnlineMeeting OurselvesA normal day (our Ponyville)Lotus Moon walks through town with her significant other, Saphirus. It was a normal day of average activities. Grocery shopping, a pleasant lunch together, talking about their day together, etc. Nothing too far out of the ordinary. When they came back to the ethereal realm, they went straight to the kitchen. "I will never get used to that. How did you even manage to do all this?" Saphirus asked. "Well three mares spawned from one mind can't very well be contained in one (confined) space. And I had to tweak the space a bit. I mean...I don't want another Magical Mishap incident." Lotus rolled her eyes. "That was a doozy to untangle. And I hope Lily has learned her lesson." "From what you told me happened, I can only hope so too. Well at least nothing crazy will happen any time soon, right? Well, not that level of crazy but, normal crazy. Like dealing with monster attacks on a near daily basis." Saphirus laughed. "That, I can handle. I'm just happy we got to spend this time together, my love." Lotus nuzzled Saphirus' neck as they reached the kitchen. As they put everything away, Saphirus glanced at the magical empty space outside the dining area. "So...can you do anything else with the rest of the space out there? Or will it just stay empty?" He asked. "Oh, I can do whatever I want with it, really. We all can. Just never thought to." Lotus shrugged, checking the cider storage. "This is a magical space after all where three unicorns live. We can do anything here." "So all this time we could have had private dates here?" He smirked. "Yes, we c-" Lotus blinked and glanced back at Saphirus with a deadpan look. "I can hear that smirk in your voice, you cheeky stallion. Yes, we could have had private dates here. But I thought two things. That it eventually would be spoiling you...and that maybe one day, we'd have a date here. But I thought you'd like having normal dates for a while." Saphirus walked over to the door while Lotus was talked and tapped it. "Why not do something with it? Like, say...an open beach with a gazebo?" "You really wanna have a date out here, don't you." Lotus stared at him with pursed lips, receiving a puppy-eyed stare with her beloved. "Fiiiiiine! We'll have a date here now. Just give me a second." ***** The sea breeze sprayed lightly and the soothing sound of the ocean filled their ears as Lotus and Saphirus lounged on the beach with a light picnic in front of them. Saphirus looked like a happy child on Hearths Warming while Lotus looked a bit exhausted. "I could get used to this." Saphirus beamed. "Don't get used to it. This takes a lot of magic and I would have to create the space ahead of time for it to be ready. And since it's an open space, I'd rather not leave and come back to find that Lily made some alterations." Lotus sighed. "Well, either way, I like it. Though for your sake, I won't ask for this as much. Just special occasions. Like our birthday or anniversary or something." He shrugged, kissing her horn, making Lotus shudder. "You know that makes me feel weird. Unicorn horns are sensitive." Lotus whined. "Well, I could kiss you somewhere else." He purred, leaning in. Just before their lips touched, there was a quake that shook the whole place. Lotus jumped up and dashed to an open area. Saphirus by her side. "What the hell is going on?! Lily what have you done now?!!" "Don't blame this on me!" Lily shouted from her room. A bright light ripped through the realm and opened similar to a portal. Two figures could be seen on the other side and coming closer. When they were in view, Lotus felt like the world just dropped from under her. "Oh...my...Celestia...is that...us?"

Well at least nothing crazy will happen any time soon, right? Well, not that level of crazy but, normal crazy. Like dealing with monster attacks on a near-daily basis." Azure laughed. "That, I can handle. I'm just happy we got to spend this time together, my love." Lunar nuzzled Azure's neck as they reached the kitchen. Azure walked over to the door while Lunar was talked and tapped it. "Why not do something with it? Like, say...a park with a perfect view of the ocean?" "You really wanna have a date out here, don't you." Lunar stared at her with pursed lips, receiving a puppy-eyed stare with his beloved. "Fine fine fine! We'll have a date here now. Just give me a minute." ***** The breeze blew gently and the soothing wind filled their ears as Lunar and Azure lounged on a picnic blanket in the park with a light picnic in front of them. The scent of the sea tickled their nose as it rolled in the distance. Azure looked like a happy child on Hearths Warming while Lunar looked a bit exhausted. "I could get used to this." Azure beamed, sighing contently. "Don't get used to it. This takes a lot of magic and I would have to create the space ahead of time for it to be ready. And since it's an open space, I'd rather not leave and come back to find that Crim made some alterations." Lunar sighed. "Well, either way, I like it. Crim what have you done now?!!" "Don't blame this on me!" Crim shouted from his room. A bright light ripped through the realm and opened similar to a portal. Two figures could be seen on the other side. "What is that?" Lunar started walking through the rift, Azure protesting softly as she followed him. "We shouldn't be coming in here...we don't know where it leads or who those ponies are," Azure whined softly. "Well, we have to do something because I don't want any more trouble. I'd rather not potentially unleash something we can't handle and then explain to the princesses what happened and how it got into Equestria." Lunar said. When the other pair were in view, Lunar felt like the world just suddenly stopped. "Oh...my...Solaris...is that...us?"
Meeting Ourselves?!View OnlineMeeting OurselvesMeeting Ourselves?!The rift stood open, giving both couples a clear view of each other. Lotus was stunned beyond belief at what she saw. A male version of her. Everything was the same as her, only he was taller, a bit buff, and had a shorter mane and tail. In fact, his mane looked like he had stylized bedhead. They looked at each other with the same wide-eyed expression. For Saphirus, his legs felt like jelly as he stared at his female self. Just like Lotus, they looked the same, but she was smaller and her frame was dainty. Her mane and tail were braided. And in place of his watch was gold bangles on her left hoof. As soon as Lunar and Azure were through the rift, it closed. Neither couple noticed since they were too blown away, staring at their...genderbent doppelgangers. Neither pair knew what to say, what to do, or what the first move should be in this instance. The sudden buzzing of wings cut through the silence. It grew louder and louder as it came closer. “Lotus, I felt a strange surge of magic come from over here. I'm almost surprised no pony else came to check it out. Is everything oka-“ V-Nyx, a changeling that recently came to live in a part of the ethereal realm, suddenly stopped in her track. She blinked her luminous eyes several times, but they were not deceiving her. Standing front of her was Lotus and Saphirus....and another Lotus and Saphirus but...the genders were different. After letting things sink in for a short while, V-Nyx landed and walked up to Lotus, tapping her shoulder. “Um...Lily wanted me to tell you that she’s going to raid your room and spread your secret special collection all over Ponyville.” “WHAT?!” Both genders of Lotus barked in unison then looked at each other. It took another few seconds for both versions of Saphirus to register what had been said. "What secret special collection?" they asked in unison. This gave way to a mildly awkward silence between the five of them before V-Nyx spoke up. "Lotus? What is going on here? Why in the name of Celestia are there...copies of you and Saphirus?" She asked. "For once...I'm not sure what's going on. I assumed Lily was up to something again. But I don't think she's strong enough to make a tear open to a different dimension. Not even Midnight and I combined with Lily could do that." Lotus shrugged. "I'm not sure what's going on either. Though it looks like we can't go back seeing as the...um...doorway is closed." The male Lotus said, looking back at where the dimensional tear was. "Um..." a new voice spoke up, it was the female version of Saphirus. "Maybe we should sit down somewhere and introduce ourselves...compare notes? Maybe we can find a way home." "Excellent idea. Because I really should sit down right now..." The male Saphirus said and, with wobbly legs, he made his way back towards to beach setting from earlier. The other four ponies trailing behind him. "And that's how we ended up here." The male version of Lotus, now introduced as Lunar Bloom, said as he finished recounting the events in perfect detail as they had happened to Lotus and Saphirus. "So your world is an exact mirror copy of ours...only...it seems genderbent." Lotus said, rubbing her chin. "We honestly don't know what happened. Though it seems you two think alike." the female Saphirus, now introduced as Azure Quill, said as she pointed out the beach setting. "Also...is he ok?" She said, pointing to Saphirus, who was still a bit stunned. "I think the shock is still setting in, Azzy." Lunar said. "Indeed." Lotus sighed. "My Saphy is a bit lost right now. Give him a little time and he'll wake up. Or I can just eat his piece of cake." "Touch that and your horn will get flicked." Saphirus suddenly said, swiping his piece of cake from the blanket. "So my secret stash isn't enough to keep you focused but taking away your dessert is? You're gonna end up with a belly if you keep that up." Lotus teased. V-Nyx stared at the genderbent dooples with quizzical curiosity. She could tell they weren't changelings or evil as well as that their story was believably true. But couldn't put a hoof on why they were so suspicious to her. Perhaps it was just her natural curiosity about everything. The five of them sat on the faux beach and talked for hours, getting to know each other and learning about the similarities and differences of the other dimension.
