Four Days Later

Shining Armor was trotting with a prideful smile on his face, as he walked past the countless rows of empty cots in the Crystal Guard barracks. After he successfully inducted Sunburst into the plans set forth by their Queen, he felt tremendously grateful that he allowed such an intelligent tactician among their ranks. Not only was the Royal Crystaller skilled enough to teach Shining and Chrysalis several essential spells to keep the public unaware of any Changeling presences, but he also knew exactly how to increase the Queen’s numbers far faster than she could’ve ever dreamed. And due to his status as one of Chrysalis’ newest willing slaves, he wasn’t afraid to put forth a massive plan to induct the Crystal Empire’s defense forces in one fell swoop.

As soon as Shining opened up the rear door of the barracks that lead to the infirmary, his ears twitched in delight as he heard the enamored moans of his final soldier from the distance. He wasn’t sure how Chrysalis was able to get everyone in the Crystal Guard inducted without passing out or running out of eggs, but he smiled to himself as he marveled at how dedicated their Queen really was. Even after helping to assist all of his soldiers in understanding their new place, and also handing out maps to possible nesting spots for their new leader’s brood, Shining was grateful that Sunburst’s plan succeeded without anypony being the wiser. He knew that the actual invasion of the Crystal Empire might be trickier, but he was willing to trust both of them when it came to whatever might happen next.

Shining stared at the sheer size of the empty waiting room, which used to be packed with every Guard who waited in line for a mandatory “wellness check” by their Queen disguised as a nurse. Even though he knew how risky it was to assimilate every Guard at once without arousing any suspicion, Sunburst’s soundproofing and camouflage spells worked perfectly to ensure nopony found out too early. The Crystaller even managed to find a spell that could cover the greenish hue in ponies’ eyes before they left, so they looked completely normal upon leaving.

But since the last of the Guards were fully on-board with following Chrysalis instead of Shining, there was no need for the sound-proofing spells anymore. Because of that, Shining smiled in envious pleasure as he heard Flash Sentry’s strained moans from behind the closed door. Just before he was about to walk into the room and marvel at the sight for himself, the “Prince” paused himself briefly enough to remember something important. With a flash of his horn, Shining summoned a small item with his magic that he intended to give to his Queen: A small, daintily-wrapped gift bag that he just acquired that day for the occasion.

Shining Armor then took a final breath as he smiled a little wider, and opened the door to hear Flash’s moans in full-force. The tiny infirmary was already rather cramped as Sunburst sat at a nearby stool with a clipboard in his hooves, and Flash Sentry was writhing on the hospital bed with Chrysalis on top of him. The Changeling let out a very, very satisfied sigh as she shivered to that wonderful news. Shining Armor grew a giddy smile as he looked over towards their Queen, and said in an overwhelmingly pleased tone, “Congratulations, Queen Chrysalis! By this point, we’ll have all of the Crystal Empire under your influence by the end of this week!~”

“Well, I certainly hope so,” she said with another tired breath, before she sat upright in her stool and smiled to herself contently. Even with the overexertion that caused her Ovipositor to absolutely ache after it was retracted inside of her, Chrysalis had enough energy to savor the magnitude of what she was able to accomplish so far. She may have not had the Crystal Empire just yet, but she knew that the actual victory of her achievements were firmly within sight. And with the entire Crystal Guard under her control and carrying her lineage, Chrysalis took a moment to smile in satisfaction towards the final Guard she had claimed as her own. “So… Flash, was it? How do you feel about me claiming the Crystal Empire so soon?~”

The lone soldier was blushing rather heavily from Chrysalis’ intimidating gaze, but he still gave her a feeble smile while nodding his head. “Well, I… I’m still adjusting to the idea overall,” he confessed sheepishly while his eyes were glowing from her brainwashing magic. Fortunately, the stallion’s apprehension wasn’t enough to keep him from smiling a little wider after he brought his hooves down to touch his swollen ballsack, and shivered from the titillating sensation. “B-But… But I’m not going to stand in your way, my Queen! Chrysalis raised a brow curiously back at her diligent slave, not able to notice the gift-bag that he had hidden behind his back. Meanwhile, Sunburst handed the final Guard a small plastic cup, which looked to be filled with a milky white substance that would’ve been easy to guess by that point. “Don’t worry, your Grace. I’ll be alright finishing up here. After Flash takes this shot of Changeling semen, I’ll finish up my spells to have him go back out in public.”

“Excellent,” said Chrysalis with a satisfied smile before she took a breath, and pulled herself up from her stool with a brief grunt. She then walked past her slave as she went towards the door, and suggested, “If the waiting room is empty, we can talk out there. Is that alright?”

“Absolutely, my Queen~” replied Shining before he followed her out of the infirmary. As he closed the door behind them, the last thing he saw was Flash Sentry drinking that cup of Drone cum while Sunburst lit up his horn. After the two were left alone to finish up, Shining brought his attention back towards his Queen as they stood alone in the empty waiting room.

“So… what is it you wanted to talk with me about, Shining Armor?” she asked with a tilt of her head while smiling down at his blushed form. “Considering the day I’ve had, this better be important.”

“My apologies for the timing, my Queen.” Shining Armor lowered his head sheepishly while his horn was still lit, and then added in his defense, “I-I wanted to wait until after you were finished to talk with you. Plus, I… I figured it would be best to do this after we knew we succeeded with the assimilation.”

Chrysalis shrugged with a sympathetic, “Fair enough,” before her eyes caught sight of the item Shining had floating behind his back. “Hmmm… Should I ask what you have there?”

The former Prince closed his eyes as he took a quick breath, and brought out his bag after exhaling in confirmation. “Well, I… I wanted to give you this gift, my Queen.”

Shining bowed himself before Chrysalis as he placed the bag before of her hooves, almost like he was offering a sacrifice to a powerful deity. The Queen smirked as she picked up his gift, and said coyly, “Oh, that’s very generous of you, Shining! And here I was thinking your Guards was my big gift.”

“Well, ummm… that technically is,” Shining admitted with a timid shrug after he stepped back with a deepening blush. “But… I knew I had to do this for you after everything you told me. A-And… And I wanted to prove to you that I am loyal to your cause. One hundred percent~”

Chrysalis huffed with a touched smile as she undid the bow on top of the bag with her magic, and then reached a hoof inside to see what her slave gifted her. “Well, I certainly do appreciate your diligence. But you already did so much to prove yourself, that I don’t…”

As soon as Chrysalis saw what was in her hoof, her words trailed off while her eyes widened immensely. Inside of Shining’s gift-bag was a stack of paperwork, which was neatly arranged and placed together with a paperclip. Most of the official documentation was already written down by Shining himself, and looked to have been freshly applied with a quill not too long ago. Of course, it wasn’t the contents of the papers itself that made Chrysalis’ muzzle gape in stunned silence. While Shining Armor stood with a blushed and nervous smile on his face, the Changeling Queen had to blink a couple times as she stared at the bolded title displayed for the top document:

Chrysalis stared at the former Prince in absolute shock, not expecting to have groomed her slave well enough to even fathom doing something like that on his own. But alas, Shining Armor stood before her as his cheeks burned hotly with a notable shade of crimson, and he took a breath before he spoke to his Queen. “Wh… When you told me I had to make a choice… I know that I hesitated a lot to give you an answer. So… S-So I decided to show you that my words weren’t just for show. A-And… I’m willing to prove myself when you feel the time is right.”

The Queen was still stunned beyond belief, but Shining’s sincerity was impressive enough to make her start to smile in pure bewilderment. “You… You’re really willing to do that for me?”

Shining Armor nodded his head with a weak smile, and then bowed himself before her to speak more confidently. “Queen Chrysalis, I gave you my word that I’ll pledge my allegiance to you, and that I would do whatever it takes to be your Brood-Stallion. And if being with you means making such a sacrifice, then… then I’ll…”

Despite his hesitant pause, Shining took one last breath before he looked up at her to say with conviction, “... th-then I’ll give her those papers myself if you order me to!~”

Chrysalis couldn’t have been happier to hear her slave say such a thing, and lunged in to give Shining Armor a strong and loving hug. “Oh my goodness, Shining Armor!~ Mnnnghhh… If I hadn’t used the last of my brood on that soldier, I’d fill you past your limits right now!!~”

Shining gasped with an blissful smile while Chrysalis held him against her chest, and he shivered antsily as he asked, “R-Really, my Queen?!”

“Absolutely! In fact…” Chrysalis put down the stallion before she stood back upright, and said after an eager shiver, “Shining, I promise you that you’ll get a looooottttttt of eggs tonight for your fortitude! All you have to do is wait for me in the Crystal Castle, and sneak me into your bedroom before you hand that worthless Princess those documents~”

The idea of complying with such a thing should’ve been ungodly terrible, especially since it was clear that Chrysalis only asked that of Shining to better hurt his soon-to-be Ex-Wife. But with the stallion thoroughly brainwashed beyond repair, and helplessly hooked to his Queen’s toxic pheromones, all that he did was smile with a heavy blush before he bowed himself before her. “My Queen, I’ll be sure to make you proud~”

Queen Chrysalis gave her hopeless slave a wickedly wide and evil smile, and let her fangs glisten as she said with a sadistic growl, “Yes you will, Shining Armor…
