King Sombra has taken out all of the villains standing in his way, and now he has no competition for taking over Equestria, so he did just that. The unsuspecting citizens of Equestria were horrified and shocked as they watched their home crumble and fall at Sombra's hooves. Princess Celestia, Cadence, and Luna were all sent to Tartarus and were alone in it, as Sombra released all the dark creatures from it. Twilight has been banished from Equestria, but her friends mean everything to her, and she can't just sit idly by and watch their demise, so she tries to get to them, and before she can, Sombra finds her. He strikes a fatal blow, then disappears, leaving Twilight to her certain fate. In her last moments, Twilight summons a quill to write one last letter to her mentor.
