Radiant Radar vs. Jinx
Previous ChapterNext Chapter"Welcome back... I guess?" Limonade announced with slight confusion.
"Seems the sisters are not wanting to come out together," Min Tea observed. "Maybe there is still a bit of tension, but to be fair, I'd want to keep as far away from you if I slapped you a couple of minutes ago."
"Are you implying that you want to slap me?" Limaonade asked with a bit of cheek. "You know how much I'm into that."
"Don't lie," Min Tea moaned as Luna rounded to her side, Min Tea handing her headset to Luna.
"Hi, Princess! Wanna announce with me?" Limonade asked Luna with a smile.
"Asking my sister for such permissions is needed, perhaps you'd like to speak to her?" Luna spoke with grace as her music faded.
Limonade clicked her tongue in disapproval. "Darn, I was hoping to stay at the table a while longer..." The camera panned over as Celestia approached Limonade, Limonade throwing off the headphones and landing on Celestia's head perfectly. Giving a few hoof pumps in the air, Limonade moved to where her sister was next to a ring post corner.
"Those two have good chemistry as sisters," Luna commented. "I'm now slightly curious as to what style their tag team is."
"We'll be able to question about how they interact, but right now, it's Radiant Radar versus Jinx 'Green Fire'," Celestia responded. "Radiant is known to have another name to the Agents as 'Conquest'. Knowing that, we may expect plenty of power moves from him."
Radiant went next to the steps and looked over to the sisters, giving his approval to stay ringside before entering the ring.
"Looks like the Sweet & Sour Sisters are staying for an up-close look at the match, we've already seen some interference from previous wrestlers and the referee knows this. He better keep a pair of eyes on those two and the match," Celestia noted.
Luna took a breath to speak but paused for a moment. "Does that referee have a second pair of eyes? I don't see it..."
"Maybe I needed to reword that, but you know what I meant," Celestia sighed.
The bell rang as Jinx stood at the entrance ramp and pulled a camera to her, blinking into it, each time opening them revealing a different color until she stopped on green.
The announcer began as Jinx made her way down the ramp. "Ladies and Gentlecolts, this match is scheduled for one fall! In the ring, from Fillinos, weighing in at 230 pounds and a height of 10 apples, Radiant Radar! And his opponent, from The Crystal Empire, weighing in at 180 to 200 pounds and a height range of 8 3/4 to 9 7/8 apples depending on form, Jinx!"
"So, here is the immediate question," Luna begun as Jinx began mouthing off at Radiant from her corner. "Is the natural ability of a half-changling considered magic exclusive or can it be used in every match?"
"I've had a slight notice sent to Jinx, it read that she can use her Changling ability," Celestia responded. "She is held exclusive to the rules like any other pony. Unicorn for unicorn, pegasus for pegasus."
Jinx let the Changling power remove her wings as the referee checked both sides to see if they were ready.
Radiant charged forward a few trots, making Jinx tense up, before he stopped in the middle of the ring and slowly moved back. Once the referee rung the bell, both Jinx and Radiant blinked out of the ring.
"Uh-oh," Celestia gasped. "I should've seen something like that was going to happen..."
The referee began to look for any sign for where they were before the titantron showed both Radiant and Jinx brawling in a hallway.
Radiant levitated Jinx and smashed her into a wall, letting her fall to the floor and seeing her blink away. Jinx had teleported back to the ring to see the referee counting out. As Radiant winked back into the ring, Jinx jumped Radiant and backed him into a turnbuckle corner, unleashing multiple heavy blows to Radiant's abdomen.
"No hesitation between the two from the start," Luna noted as Jinx pulled away for a moment. "Jinx is made of stern material to get bashed into a rock wall and recover so quickly."
Jinx charged forward and speared into Radiant. After the hit, Radiant took a step away from the turnbuckle and fell face forward to the mat.
"Radiant lost his air, Jinx goes for a quick cover," Celestia happily announced.
"One, Two, and Radiant gets a hoof on the ropes," Luna yelled out. "How lucky that Radiant was close enough to the ropes and have the mental faculty to reach for it in time!"
Jinx chittered in her Changling tongue as she lifted up Radiant. Backing up a few steps, Jinx flipped foward onto one hoof and prepared to spin herself. As she attempted to, Radiant had put his head between Jinx's legs and forced himself and Jinx up in the air.
"Wo-o-oah! Radiant's got a big move here," Celestia noticed as Radiant gave a yell of effort.
Spinning from his standing position, Radiant fell forward, completing a powerbomb on Jinx. Radiant pulled himself up and watched Jinx begin to stand. Charging forward, Radiant leaped forward and twisted his body to land perpendicularly on top of Jinx.
"Crossbody, cover, one, two, and Jinx kicks out," Luna announced. "Another close move, the momentum was in Jinx's favor and Radiant has got back into it."
Jinx changed her form into Quick Fix's, still lying on the ring floor. When Radiant turned around to continue, he noticed Quick Fix on the ground and rushed over to help him.
Limonade shot up from the ring floor and shouted out to Richard about the change, prompting Jinx to make her move quickly.
Still in Quick Fix's form, she wrapped Radiant into a Small Package pin.
"Referee is counting, one, two, and Radiant manages to get out," Celestia cheered.
Jinx changed back to her original form and began bad mouthing Limonade on the ring apron. As the two mares argued, Radiant had forced himself up and slipped underneath Jinx's rear legs. Radiant lifted Jinx up and both of them landed on their backs, Jinx feeling more pain from the height she came down from.
"Radiant gets an Electric Chair Drop, and referee has had enough of the distractions, he's kicking out Limonade," Luna declared.
Limonade was about to go to blows with the referee until Min Tea pulled her away, slowly pushing her back to the entrance way.
Radiant Radar waited for Jinx to get back up, his body near the ring floor as he kept motioning her to get up. When Jinx got up and turned around, Radiant had put on his fastest burst of speed and speared into Jinx. When he did the move, his head bashed into the ring floor and his neck bent at an odd angle for a brief moment.
"A spear by Radar, but it seems he put too much head into it, referee is checking if he's hurt," Luna uttered, feeling uneasy as Radar had moved his hooves where his spine met his neck and was covering it, his eyes closed in pain as he yelled out his frustrations.
Jinx had moved herself to a turnbuckle corner and had begun to recuperate as Radiant also managed to get himself back up, moving his head to try and make the pain go away. Gripping Jinx's neck, Radiant ran up the turnbuckles and turned himself and Jinx around, hoping to get his turnbuckle bulldog.
"Jinx throws Radiant away, and Radiant lands on the mat," Celestia spoke. "Radiant has his hooves back on his neck, he could really be injured."
Jinx applied a headlock on Radiant, stressing the neck a little more in hopes that Radiant would quit. Radiant Radar kept trying to power out and soon got his rear hooves up. Using as much strength as he could, Radiant hit a back body drop, forcing Jinx to let go of the headlock.
"Both wrestlers down, Radiant is worse for wear, but he's doing everything he can to ignore the neck pains," Luna told her sister.
"How long can he keep doing that though?" Celestia asked. "If he's really injured, then he's going to have a very short career as a wrestler."
Radiant moved Jinx to the turnbuckle corner, both of them tired and in pain. Radiant slowly lifted her to the top, pausing for a moment before he came up with her.
"What does Radiant have planned up there?" Celestia asked.
Radiant gripped a front hoof of Jinx and pulled her over his head, as she began to fall, Radiant's rear hooves wrapped around the pulled arm and both of them fell to the mat, Radiant applying an armbar.
"Radar, From Great Heights applied! Jinx is in trouble, middle of the ring with nowhere to go," Celestia shouted out.
"Jinx isn't going, she's in pain but she's not tapping," Luna stated as Jinx kept shaking her head to the referee.
Jinx began rolling a bit and managed to push herself on top of Radiant in an impromptu pin.
"One, Two, Three! Jinx got it!"
Radiant had let go and Jinx sprung back as she rolled out of the ring, nursing her hurt arm.
"Here is your winner, Jinx 'Green Fire'!" The ring announcer called out as the referee raised the uninjured arm of Jinx.
Radiant Radar stood in the ring in disbelief, one hoof gripping the back of his neck, as Jinx went up the ramp with a mocking smile. She changed for a moment to Radiant as she made a 'Boo Hoo' motion and changing back. Radiant stamped his hoof and slid carefully out of the ring, limping as he still held the back of his neck.
"Jinx pulled a fast one on Radar, but I'm unsure if the match would've went in her favor if Radiant hadn't got his neck hurt from the spear he did," Luna dictated.
"Sadly, that's the risk you make when you step in the ring," Celestia said with a grimace.
Luna gave a nod and noticed Limonade and Min Tea at the entrance way accompanying Radiant as they went behind the curtain.
"If there's anything to be said, at least in regards for the Agents, they're loyal to each other, and hopefully they'll get Radiant to a medical officer to check on his neck," Luna concluded.
