Reign D. Orton's Open Challenge
Previous ChapterNext Chapter"Welcome back to PPF," a bubbly voice announced as the camera panned to the entrance way to reveal Reign D. Orton's entrance.
"In case you are unaware from constant flipping of channels or plain ignorance, this is Professional Wrestler and Element of Dishonesty, Min Tea," she spoke with disinterest. "I'm sitting next to my sister, tag team partner, and Element of Anger, Limonade."
"Jeez, Min, how about a little pep behind that voice?" Limonade spoke with a slight chuckle.
"I'm here to announce matches or wrestle in the ring," Min Tea groaned. "I'm sorry if I don't find talking about moves or the methods behind them to be remarkably fascinating."
Reign D. Orton was given a microphone and his slit eyes kept looking around the arena, getting a feel for the new territory.
"My name, is Randy Orton," he spoke, confidence easily hidden behind the malice that went with his voice. "You may call me, Reign D. Orton. You may call me different. You may call me anything, but the truth is that I find ways to get what I want."
He trot slowly around the ring, almost slithering in his movements. "There is another name that I am called, and it's 'The Viper'."
Limonade's stifled laugh came up. "Real original name for a pony with lizard eyes."
"I'm here to challenge anyone of those so-called wrestlers that this PPF has, and I am going to lead this charge that the WWE has found itself in. So, I inquire, which one of you has the nerve to go up against me?"
The broken jumble of music began to play as Black Soul came out of the entrance and began trying to get the crowd to cheer him, despite how each of them were trying to plug their ears.
"AHHHHH! Make it stop! It hurts!" Limonade yelled out over the music.
"Despite the poor choice in music, Black Soul A.K.A. 'The Almighty Alicorn King' is making his way to the ring to challenge Reign D. Orton," Min Tea spoke out, doing her best not to have her teeth clenched in irritation.
Black Soul entered the ring and held out a hoof towards Reign, a giant smile on his face. Reign just shook his head as a referee entered the ring and signaled the bell to ring.
"Match begins, Black Soul versus Reign D., formerly Randy Orton of WWE fame, he's won multiple world titles, has had multiple fueds with who many have said are the best in the company in the modern era," Min Tea informed as both Reign D. and Black Soul began exchanging punching blows in the center of the ring.
Black Soul bounced into the ropes and went for a shoulder block, Reign D. just stepped aside and Black Soul's snout hit the ring mat.
"Reign D.'s got some smarts, with Black Soul down, Reign D. has a headlock on," Limonade commented.
After a few seconds, Black Soul winked out and reappeared in the ring, clear use of his magical ability.
"Black Soul gets out easy with his magical capability, remember, you can only use your talent if it's against someone that has the same capabilities. Reign D. is a unicorn, but I wonder if he can even use magic in this match, it's a clear disadvantage," Min Tea pondered.
Reign D. briefly yelled to the ref about the teleportation and both began circling the ring again. Reign D. and Black Soul locked up, Black Soul whipped Reign D. into the ropes to perform a back body drop.
"Reign D.'s stepped around, he's gripped Black Soul's head from behind and a backbreaker, Black Soul got caught in another mistake and Reign D. is using his knowledge of the ring to his advantage," Min Tea yawned.
"That looked like a big move, Reign D. is taking advantage, cover, 1, 2, and Black Soul gets the shoulder up," Limonade squealed. "This does seem interesting, Black Soul knows his magic, but not so much the wrestling and Reign D. is the mirror on this, no knowledge of magic, but his track record on professional wrestling is extensive, who'd you pick in this match Min?"
Min Tea gave a noise of contemplation, "Well, this is more a wrestling match, but I would think that Black Soul would win this, BUT it hinges on Black Soul outsmarting Reign D. and as we're seeing Reign D. is not one that can have the wool pulled over his eyes. Taking that knowledge, my bet is on Reign D."
Reign D. began his rounding stomps, hitting each leg with a loud THUMP ending his final stomp on Black Soul's head, purposely hitting the horn more than the head.
Black Soul rolled over eventually, trying to stand up. Reign D. noticed he was in a perfect position near the opposite turnbuckle and came charging towards him, punting Black Soul in the side of his head.
"OH! OW! EEH! I could FEEL that punt from here! It's like a migraine!" Limonade screeched.
Min Tea just shook her head, "Imagine Black Soul right now, he's outside the ring and looks completely gone."
The referee had begun his ten count, being stopped at seven as Reign D. began dragging Black Soul up to the outside ring apron. Reign D. stepped into the ring and then wrapped a hoof around Black Soul's head between the top and second rope. Reign D. pulled Black Soul until Black Soul's rear hooves remained on the rope.
"DDT, between the ropes!" Min Tea spoke up with concern. "That should be it, the cover, referee at two and STILL kicks out!"
Black Soul's hoof that had rose up began shaking, looking for something. Reign D. tooks a few steps away and spun around, hitting the mat and staring down Black Soul.
"Reign D. setting up for the RKO, Black Soul's getting up," Min Tea noted.
Black Soul turned as Reign D. popped up and gripped Black Soul's head. Black Soul pushed Reign D. off and began banging his head in the air, letting his red hair wave around.
"Black Soul is pumping up, the feeling of the match is shifting," Limonade cheered.
Black Soul held out a hoof and spun around, hitting a Discus Clothesline on Reign D. Jumping up and dancing on his rear hooves on top of Reign D.'s abdomen.
"I'm sure that's not going to do any favors to Reign D.'s body, referee's managed to get Black Soul to stop before the five count," Min Tea murmured.
Black Soul lifted Reign D. and whipped him into the ropes, seeing Reign D. attempt a crossbody.
"Black Soul catches the crossbody and spins it into a powerslam, cover, one, two, and Reign D. JUST BARELY gets the shoulder up," Limonade yelled. Camera briefly catching her jumping up from her seat and back down on it.
Black Soul trot around the ring for a moment and went up to the top turnbuckle, spinning a hoof in the air for a moment.
"Black Soul, jumps up, AND REIGN D. pops up and HITS AN RKO!" Min Tea unexpectedly cheered. "One, Two, and it's over!"
"Ladies and Gentlecolts, your winner, Reign D. Orton!" The ring announcer yelled out.
"That was some Harry Potter shit! Reign D. bounces up and hits the RKO, Black Soul got caught in The Viper's strike," Limonade spoke up.
"Don't know how Harry Potter fits in here, but Reign D. got a match and manages to pull off victory tonight," Min Tea observed.
"Later to come, Radiant Radar goes one-on-one with Jinx 'Green Fire', our Element of Distrust against the half-Changling," Limonade announced.
"Murry 'Murky Depths' Clear and Eric 'The Blazer' Boom want to team up against, who else? Us! The Sweet and Sour Sisters are going to enter the ring tonight," Min Tea announced, a hint of happiness behind her words.
"Ooh hoo hoo hoo! Can't wait for that! BUT! That means we're behind the main event, Apple versus Dash. Hopefully when our match is going on, Celestia and Luna will get over there little teat-a-tet," Limonade laughed.
"Well, let's find out. The CMC have managed to get in contact with both of the royal princesses and they're ready to make a statement, right now," Min Tea announced.
The cameras cut to the back, Scootaloo, Applebloom, and Sweetie Belle on their interview ladder between the two royal sisters.
"Seems like the two sisters have had a little time to cool off," Sweetie Belle squeaked out. "Luna, why'd you attack Pheonix Dawn and then slapped Celestia?"
Luna put a hoof on her face and pulled down, taking a deep breath. "I detest when anypony disrupts an honorable fight, and I further detest ponies that believe themselves to be untouchable or of higher authority than they truly are." She gave another deep breath, "My slap to my sister was uncalled for, I am willing to attest to this and I've apologized. However, my disagreements with Pheonix's actions are far too great. He may be in a tournament for the Pegasi Championship, but on my honor and word, the moment he loses in that tournament I am going to challenge him to a match."
Sweetie Belle gave a confirming nod as Scootaloo gave a very happy nod, briefly holding her stomach.
"Well, that leads us to you, Miss Celestia," Applebloom said, shifting conversation to the Princess of the Sun. "We've never seen you act like that before, what was that about?"
Celestia gave a nod, "I think that all of this has become very big, very fast. The dimensional holes, the threats of everything crashing in because of my idea to have a bit of fun with everypony, it hurt a lot of me. Then Discord showing up with his... well, I don't know how to describe it without sounding rude." Celestia gave a look to Luna, "She is right, this isn't a matter of fun, this is about honor and willing to stand up to what has been made wrong. And I will make the PPF the strongest it can be before My Little PPF and the 3-way six pony tag match."
Applebloom looked between the two sisters, "So you're gonna go back to the announcers table?"
Luna shook her head, "We are going to talk with some of the WWE wrestlers and attempt to make them feel at home during this time, perhaps we can all reach an agreement to be our best and perhaps learn from each other."
Celestia gave a nod and motioned Luna to come with her, leaving the CMC to their ladder. The camera lingered on the ladder for a moment as each filly attempted to get down, Scootaloo accidentally slipping at the top and falling on both Applebloom and Sweetie Belle to the floor.
